"Papiersaal, Kreis 3 by Saloon. The Papiersaal is situated on the 2nd floor of this former paper mill and plays live music regularly. On Saturday’s, they put on a great party and play fantastic music until the early morning hours. On the first floor there are corporate and private event spaces for you own private party."

"Wirtschaft im Franz, Kreis 3 by Saloon. This is a great concept that only the brave would attempt. There are two daily set menus to choose from, for example a fish/meat menu (four courses for CHF 89) and a vegetarian menu (four course for CHF 77). Alternatively, if you are not that hungry you can choose any item off either menu. The menu design is modern and the cuisine sophisticated. The ingredients are superb that is, local, fresh, organic and delicious. The ambience is relaxed and the staff is super friendly, which all makes for a great experience for the customer."

"Two Rooms, Kreis 3 by Saloon. Stefano Wietings concept store, Two Rooms, is a treasure trove if you are looking for something special. He browsed selective pieces in second hand shops and visited design fairs regularly. This is reflected by the stunning selection of rare vintage pieces, successful re-editions, stylish jewelry and art in French and Italian vintage design. He newly remodeled a year ago and his shore shines like a gem in the limelight."

"Vereinigung, Kreis 3 by Saloon. This neighborhood restaurant and bar consists of high-quality products with a strong focus on seasonality, rationality and organic produce. And of course, everything is super fresh! This cozy place has 25 seats and a small front garden. Unfortunately, you can’t reserve a table so make sure you get there early. For everyone else, there is a prolonged aperitif with sausage, cheese and other appetizers at the bar."

"Dardy Candy Cat, Kreis 3 by Saloon. Keeping in mind that Dardy Candy Cat was a Burlesque dancer and style icon. This amazing store offers fashion and accessories for women, men and children of today with a touch of yesterday. The fashion is retro and sexy with petticoats, wasp waists corsets, and low-cut tops. "Piazza, Kreis 3 by Saloon. On the beautiful Idaplatz there is something resembling a holiday mood. The restaurant has big windows that open up on those lovely warm Zurich days, and you feel like you are in Italy on holidays. In the Piazza you can feel that it is the lifeblood of the owner. The atmosphere is easy and relaxed and the prices are fair. In the morning it is a neighborhood cafe, a restaurant at noon, and in the evening a bar. It’s also the perfect place for a long lazy Sunday brunch."

This high end retro furniture store displays designer classics and fully restored vintage furniture. The design, styles and attention to detail lends itself to the 20th century, and it is a must see. With love and care – these classic pieces are restored and refreshed - contrary to our throw away society. It’s refreshing to see."

"Kafi Dihei, Kreis 3 by Saloon. What greets you as you walk in is the rose patterned wallpaper, the Biedermeier sofa, fabric covered lampshades, and the warm light. This homey place looks a bit like your grandmother place and very tastefully done. What you would find from second hand shops and flea markets adorn the inviting dining room. There are coffee and cakes, bread and jam, warm goat cheese tarts, roast beef sandwiches and at noon a quiche, - and just like at grandma’s place – everything is homemade."

"Bachsermart, Kreis 3 by Saloon. The concept of this grocery store is simple: it’s local, seasonal and full of natural products to enjoy. The store has a strong philosophy whereby the entire product is utilized from the farmer, to the store, to the customer. If produce is not sold then they composite it and put back into the earth. You can find a wide selection of organic wines, olive oils and preserves. This great local produce store will help you cook healthy delicious meals for your friends and family. Tip: at around noon they have fantastic packed lunches for you to take away."

"Floristeria, Kreis 3 by Saloon. With much love and taste, this former pharmacy has been converted into a charming yet cosmopolitan florist. You walk in and feel the slightly creaky parquetry floors under your feet, the warm lighting, and you hear the soft trickling of water from the stone fountain. Then you see the beautiful antique furniture and smell the sent of fresh cut flowers which surrounds you - this is special - this is Floristeria. They offer seasonal floral arrangements, ornamental plants, vases and pots, you can find everything floral here."

"Zum Guten Gluck, Kreis 3 by Saloon. During the day it is the "Zum Guten Gluck" a friendly cafe and restaurant, and in the evening it is a cozy bar with a fumoir.
