A true gem in Zurich - it’s got my golden seal of approval! You owe it to yourself to check it out. Don’t be scared off by the long line at the entrance – the service is so fast that in just 5 minutes, you’ll already be ordering. No joke, this might just be some of the best sausages I’ve ever eaten. We tried both the veal and pork options, and they were both an absolute delight. The bread is magical. It’s super crunchy on the outside and might seem a bit hard at first, but the inside is soft and plays a key role in your overall experience at this restaurant. Watch out for the mustard! It seems like it’s a bit of a local legend. We were warned by our guide that it could be quite spicy, and she wasn’t kidding. You might feel your life flash before your eyes when you try it. It’s definitely not for everyone, but you simply can’t leave without giving it a shot. If I ever return to Zurich, this spot will undoubtedly be one of my first stops.

We stopped here at the suggestion and I got the "world famous sausage." It more than lived up to the world famous hype. There is horseradish in the mustard that have it a great kick and there was seating available when we arrived. The food portion was great also, almost too much. We would highly recommend this popular local restaurant when in Zurich.

Visiting from Australia arrived for meal Friday 2pm. Dined upstairs- waitress was amazing. Explained food & beverage. Was friendly & attentive. Food was just as anticipated- brilliant. What a great location to eat simple Swiss food cooked to perfection Thanking you kindly We will definitely recommend to others visiting Zurich

Great spot for a quick and delicious food! I had the cheese Spätzle and it was amazing. I wish they had more vegetarian options rather than just many salads. Nice staff and cozy atmosphere!

Sat at the terrace and the view was really nice. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service provided was really great. The food was good especially the sausage. Had their traditional Swiss sausage with rosti. The mustard was honestly mind blowing. Personally, this was the best mustard I have ever tasted. We ended up buying an entire bottle of mustard to take home. We also got onion sauce to go with the sausage and it was a really good combination, especially for the bread. Would highly recommend to visit!!

📝 We had lunch upstairs and were pleased with our choice. 🍴 They offer mostly traditional meat dishes but also have some vegetarian or seasonal options. I had a half chicken with cafe de paris sauce and a couple of side dishes: great taste and right size. I left the place satisfied. 📍 Eating upstairs was nice, there are a few seats indoor but there is also the possibility to eat on the terrace facing Bellevue tram station which is particularly nice in summer.

I didn't go up to the restaurant but just ate the takeout space. The staff was very patient in explaining things to me even though there was a long queue behind me. Bratwurst was so juicy. I wanted to get seconds but there was a long queue by that time and I had to go.
