A true gem in Zurich - it’s got my golden seal of approval! You owe it to yourself to check it out. Don’t be scared off by the long line at the entrance – the service is so fast that in just 5 minutes, you’ll already be ordering. No joke, this might just be some of the best sausages I’ve ever eaten. We tried both the veal and pork options, and they were both an absolute delight. The bread is magical. It’s super crunchy on the outside and might seem a bit hard at first, but the inside is soft and plays a key role in your overall experience at this restaurant. Watch out for the mustard! It seems like it’s a bit of a local legend. We were warned by our guide that it could be quite spicy, and she wasn’t kidding. You might feel your life flash before your eyes when you try it. It’s definitely not for everyone, but you simply can’t leave without giving it a shot. If I ever return to Zurich, this spot will undoubtedly be one of my first stops.

My wife and I visited this restaurant in a Saturday afternoon at around 2:30pm and it’s packed. The line on the first floor was 10 people long. We went up to the second floor which was full service and were seated right away. The food was delicious and price was reasonable. They only have menus in German but you could scan a QR code to see the menu in other languages on your phone.

We stopped here at the suggestion and I got the "world famous sausage." It more than lived up to the world famous hype. There is horseradish in the mustard that have it a great kick and there was seating available when we arrived. The food portion was great also, almost too much. We would highly recommend this popular local restaurant when in Zurich.

Currywurst or bratwurst, that nice piece of bread, potato salad and a beer. I been there twice in the 3 days I was in Zurich. There's a long lineup outside because of the popularity of this place but the food is worth it. Currywurst and bread, solid 8/10, only because for 8 francs I was expecting a bigger sausage, potato salad is a 6 for me, a bit too vinegary. BUT MAN THAT MUSTARD IS A SOLID 15/10 hot damn. Guys, please, as owners of the restaurant, can you please tell me what mustard you use because for the past 4 years, I've been trying hopelessly to find that instant burning sensation from the mustard I've eaten at your place. Every single Dijon/artisanal/ "extra spicy" mustard that I can find just doesn't have that close-to-wasabi kick. I really love that mustard and would be nice to know where I can find some. Sat at the terrace and the view was really nice. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service provided was really great. The food was good especially the sausage. Had their traditional Swiss sausage with rosti. The mustard was honestly mind blowing. Personally, this was the best mustard I have ever tasted. We ended up buying an entire bottle of mustard to take home. We also got onion sauce to go with the sausage and it was a really good combination, especially for the bread. Would highly recommend to visit!!

This restaurant is an absolute gem for a quick and satisfying lunch. The sausages are truly exceptional—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. But beware: the mustard here is dangerously addictive! A must-visit spot! Also the bread is smth amazing!

Sternen Grill is the must go place for a sausage in Zurich. It exists since a long long time. The new upstairs seating section allows to have a nice lunch with many options available. Amazing that they have spinach and other side dishes to accompany the meat. Lovely wine selection.Legendary place.

Visiting from Australia arrived for meal Friday 2pm. Dined upstairs- waitress was amazing. Explained food & beverage. Was friendly & attentive. Food was just as anticipated- brilliant. What a great location to eat simple Swiss food cooked to perfection Thanking you kindly We will definitely recommend to others visiting Zurich
