Restaurant Le Cèdre - Badenerstrasse

This place is usually packed so make sure to book a table. We visited twice while we were in Zurich. One of the top options for middle eastern and halal food. Because they’re busy, they don’t have time to recommend dishes, or to take special requests (like having the salad be less sour for example). We were rushed into choosing what to order but the food is really good. Price is reasonable considering the place interior and the food portions are good. The dessert (pudding with fruits) was phenomenal can’t remember its name but it’s in the video!

Amazing experience!! Totally recommend if you're in for something new! We took 2 mezze for 6 people for a group of 12, and it was absolutely splendid! We had plenty of choices to eat with unlimited bread, and each plate was tastier than the previous one! It was on the expensive side, but for a once-in-a-while experience, it was more than worth it! I have not had lebanese food before and I really loved what I received here! The servers were very friendly and understandable when we decided to wait for everyone to arrive before we ordered, and they also offered us free desserts and fruit! It was an exceptional evening, thank you!

Very delicious food. It’s was not a typical single dish food, but rather a lot of small dishes. There were different kind of meats, hummus, etc.

One of the places where you can get halal meat (I think he told us the chicken and meat are halal but the beef isn't) which was nice of him to tell us upfront. Good traditional Lebanese food. Though the service was a bit slow (or maybe we were in a hurry!) but the food was good. Considering we saw at least 4 food delivery riders come in during our meal, I'd say it's a popular place!

This restaurant is one of the few Lebanese places abroad that truly offers authentic and delicious Lebanese cuisine. The service was fast, and the manager was super friendly. I definitely recommend it!

If you aren't eating here, you are missing out. One of my favorite meals in quite awhile. The savory oriental rice and okra were delicious and perfectly balanced. Dessert of yogurt and fruit was one of the yummiest things I've had in a while. Can't wait to go back and have the same meal again!!!! 😍💯

One of the best restaurants in Zurich, hands down! Honestly, during our entire stay in Zurich, we didn’t have a meal better than this. The service was amazing, the staff are super friendly. Specially ( Konstantinos ) !! It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend everyone to try this place. It’s a must!❤️

I can’t believe it took me this long to discover Le Cedre, but after years of living in Zürich I have finally found a place I am excited to go back to more than once! We had a stunning Levantine dinner with authentic, delicious Lebanese dishes. I have nothing to criticize; everything was perfect. Make sure you book a table. They can get busy so you may have to flag the waiters down but they were all friendly and efficient and the delicious food more than adequately makes up for anything.
