Wonderful authentic taste, especially loved the starters. My husband said the fried noodles tasted exactly like the first time he had them in Shanghai. We will be back for sure!

Authentic food from Shanghai and they also offer delicious food from other provinces in China. Check before you arrive, might be lucky to get super nice food not on the menu.

This is the amount of food I have received from an order that I have paid more than 50 francs for. And this dish along is around 30 francs. This level quantify for such price is insane. Bund 39 has been my go-to since it started and today its quantity & dish quality has truly sank. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go there again as a customer

Overall a below- average experience, mainly due to food and environment. Food: we were in 6 and we ordered some dumplings and cucumber salad as entree. The dumplings were nothing special, and the vinegar sauce that came as a dressing was not balanced at all, very strong taste mostly due to poor quality ingredients. We ordered different mains which were ok but again nothing outstanding. The eggplants were immersed in sauce that covered all other flavours, fried rice was not only very tiny in portion, but also very poor in taste. Atmosphere: we were seating in the outside terrace in the back, which was unfortunately not very curated, it faced other buildings, the plants were not tidy, tables not very clean and no cushions on chairs. Overall it felt it was missing some love and passion in everything. Also value for money not great, we spend more than 40 chf per person with no drinks and not so much food.

Very nice Shangai Restaurant! We took Dandan Ramen and Five Spicery Beef Ramen. It was very delicious and super spiced. The service was good. The homemade IceTea was also very good. The price is much higher than other.

The food is delicious, but the portion is a bit small. The space here is limited with few tables. So, it's advisable to reserve a table before coming. About half an hour into enjoying our meal, the waiters asked if we could switch to a smaller table because a group of 16 people was coming. (Can I really say no in this situation?? especially since we had reserved a table?)The thought of having dessert also ruined.Hope the staff won't be too exhausted.

Cozy, little restaurant with lovely staff. Cuisine: Shanghai-Style - and chinese classics as well as noodles & ramen. We were 4P and had a big table at the window over lunch. When ordering from Lunch Menu, you‘ll get a soup and a small appetizer. Here couple pictures, first two are from the „Lunch Menu“... A friend of ours pre-ordered couple Steam Buns, there are vegetarian ones too. I had the Beef 拉面(Ramen). Fair price for these portions, which were enough for us four. W.P. Update: Went back for a dinner. Had DanDan Prawn Ramen, Ginger & Scallion Chicken, Bao Buns and an assortment by the head chef (eggplants, tofu salad, water bamboo). And of course for dessert: Fried Ice Cream.

Very good and varied dishes. We had a light family lunch and only tried a few dishes but they were very good and certainly above average. Of course, it’s not a random Chinese restaurant, so expect much more refined items and interesting recipes! Will certainly go again and try other, more daring items on the menu.
