Williamsburg for Dug and Family
Glossier Brooklyn
Beauty supply store · Williamsburg
If your daughter likes makeup or skincare at all, I feel like this is a must visit for the younger demo.
Domino Park
Park · Williamsburg
The shiny new park near the fancier developments, this park has great views of the city and river.
McCarren Park
Park · Greenpoint
If it’s nice out this is a good spot to sit on a blanket with snacks or sandwiches and fries from the Parkhouse. It’s the real neighborhood park and there’s always good people watching.
Hotel Delmano
Bar · Williamsburg
Nice cocktails and ambiance for a drink and light bites without kids (steak tartare, seafood towers, charcuterie and cheese type dishes).
Maison Premiere
Oyster bar restaurant · Williamsburg
A New Orleans style bar that specializes in oysters and martinis. (Probably best enjoyed without children.)
Nitehawk Cinema
Movie theater · Williamsburg
If you need a pause, this is a fun small movie theater with excellent popcorn and (casual) restaurant quality food served at your seats.
Fushimi
Japanese restaurant · Williamsburg
Rolls here are just as cheap ($7-$8) as any hole in the wall Brooklyn sushi joint but Fushimi has Vegas decor, a mirrored tunnel to a Taj Majal style bathroom situation, and a really good lunch special ($21 for 5 couses) during the week.
Vans

Adding this as a general placeholder for this street … there’s a Nike store, an Urban Outfitters, and a bunch of other shops that the kids would potentially like.
The Dr. Martens Store
Shoe store · Williamsburg
Adding this as a placeholder for Bedford Ave. It’s definitely not “cool” anymore but there are some shops that your daughter might like here as well. It basically is what connects Williamsburg to Greenpoint.
Spritzenhaus33
Bar · Greenpoint
A madhouse on the weekend but chill during the week and a good spot to sit with a drink and snack or sausage. When it’s nice out they open the garage style windows so it’s a nice spot for people watching as well. Right near the Lot Radio and McCarren Park.
Action City Comics
Comic book store · Greenpoint
Wojtek’s favorite comic shop. Not huge but really nice staff and good graphic novel selection for kids.
Graff Tours
Art studio · Williamsburg
Graffiti tour and class. The class looks super fun and I could mail any art made home for you.
Westlight
Cocktail bar · Williamsburg
I’ve never been up here but supposedly the views are amazing. I think you can just go for a drink and a snack but you’ll definitely need a reservation, especially around sunset.
Rob Peetoom Williamsburg
Hairdresser · Williamsburg
If your daughter and mom want to get a beauty treatment like a facial, this is a pretty nice spa and salon. I’ve never gotten one here but I get my haircut here and the space and staff are really lovely.
Catbird
Boutique · Williamsburg
This is an amazing store. My friend’s sister-in-law owns it and has a studio in Brooklyn where she makes their own line of jewelry. I think your daughter would love it.
Beacon's Closet
Vintage clothing store · Greenpoint
More vintage. Stop in Spritzenhause if you need a pretzel, fries and root beer/beer.

Awoke Vintage Brooklyn
Vintage clothing store · Williamsburg
Solid vintage store. They have 2 other locations , which I’ll add.
Birds of a Feather
Chinese restaurant · Williamsburg
Really good Szechuan and a lovely spot to dine in.
Bernie’s
American restaurant · Greenpoint
Probably one of the most popular restaurants in Brooklyn right now which is interesting considering its basic fare (burgers, mozzarella sticks, ribs). The staff is lovely and the people watching is good. Very friendly to kids. If you want to go to this, LMK because they don’t take reservations and it can be hard to get a seat.
Peter Luger Steak House
Steak house · Williamsburg
I love Pete Wells but he’s wrong about the burger here. It’s served till 3pm each day and is consistently delicious.
Bamonte's
Italian restaurant · Williamsburg
Old school Italian … in fact I think it’s the second oldest restaurant still operating in NYC today. Wojtek’s classmate’s family has owned it since they opened it over 100 years ago. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but open every other day for lunch and dinner.
