In November and December, you can also get your Christmas fix here. Get a hot cup of glögg, get warm by the fireplace while watching Santa’s train run in the ceiling. "CHRISTIANIA, Christianshavn. The free town of Christiania is one of Denmark’s most visited attractions, and with good reason. With our office located just on the opposite site of the street this is one of our favourite places to go for a walk and watch all the crazy DIY houses while having a veggie snack. The former military grounds were taken over in the beginning of the 70’s by people who dreamt of a different society. Since then the free town has been known from the notorious ‘pusher street’, where it was possible to buy marijuana and weed openly. This street, however, has been closed for a while now, but Christiania is still an oasis of the city with beautiful nature by the water, inspiring DIY architecture and nice atmosphere."

"Lagkagehuset, Christianshavn. Copenhagen’s famous bakery, Lagkagehuset, is a favourite for both locals and tourists. Grab a number at the counter and join the queue of hungry locals dying for a few of their freshly baked goodies. At the bakery, there are a few seats at the counter where you can enjoy a coffee and pastry and watch the action of Christianshavn canal. We always go for the 'Flødeboller' and 'Rye-Chocolate-buns'."

One of my favourite places to go in Copenhagen - it's amazing that one man could have collected such an outstanding array of art and one of the best places to go if you like statues, which I adore! I only ended up visiting the Glypotect as I went to the visitor information and they told me there was free entry on Tuesdays. I was so glad I went! The sculptures were amazing and the indoor garden was beautiful. There is also a cafe inside. You need to store your belongings (bags, coats etc) in a locker which costs 20 kroner deposit that you get back. You are allowed to take photos inside."

The first thing that will catch your eye when you cross the bridge from the city, is Havnebadet (The harbour bath) This was the first one of its kind in CPH and it is very popular.
