I only came here because the appeal of a toast bar and being able to order "flights of toasts." Note that this place is a little expensive and not a crazy amount of food but definitely filled me up. I got the grapefruit lemonade which was pretty good, a little too high of an ice to juice ratio but that seemed like a common theme around most of Copenhagen. I ordered the veggie experience which was amazing. It comes with 2 toasts, a dipping sauce, a little avocado side salad and mini pickles. The salad was probably the most surprisingly simple and delicious dish I have ever had and hope to emulate it when I get home in the states. The Experience came with 2 different toasts, of which I liked both, but definitely preferred the mushroom one. My friend had the flight with meat, The Fucking Toast which he really liked too. Overall, cool bougie grilled cheese concept, but definitely high quality toast! I would definitely come back if I am ever in Copenhagen again!

Very cozy spot for dinner in Nørrebro. I came here with a friend. While I was waiting for her, I was seated immediately and offered water while I waited. It is a small restaurant, but the atmosphere is very nice. The waiter was great and explained and recommended drinks when we inquired. We both had some sort of lemony cocktail - really good! I had the avocado toast which was quite elevated in taste in comparison to any other avo toast I've had before. Fætter fætter's toast restaurant is a cool concept with a warm vibe - definitely recommend for a spot to eat in Nørrebro!

Why didn't I come up with this idea!? Danes love their toast. Usually it'll be a home-made "cheese and ham in cheap supermarket white bread"-kind of thing, made to cure the Saturday morning hangover, or to fill the stomach on a lazy afternoon. Fætter Fætter takes the toast-loving to the next level - and it is phenomenal! Everything about the place is hipster, the minimalistic seating arrangement. So, the centerpiece - the toast: You get an upscale, somewhat-fancy - but not too fancy - looking toast, on a cutting board. It's not too big, and it does look fancy but not overly so. You take a bite - just slightly more crispy than you expect - and then it hits you. Is it a toast? It is a toast. But the wealth of flavors running amok on your tastebuds, leaving you with no choice but to sit back and take in the Fætter Fætter toast experience - Bon voyage and bon apetit. PS. They also make one of the best iced coffees I've gotten in Copenhagen. Their recipe is extremely simple, but effective. I guess that goes with the whole "fancy toast" concept :)

I cam here with a girlfriend for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The menu is very simple, but the food was yummy. I recommend the Croque Monsieur and the Advocado open faced sandwich. The advocado side option is also very delicious. A few suggestions is that it is a bit drafty in the winter, so I was a bit cold, and the drink menu is a bit limted. I will defintiely come back in the summer and try some of the other good looking toasts!

I was recommended to go see Hans Christian Andersen's grave and this little gem was suggested to me by a girl who worked at the National Gallery! It is no nonsense and really cute inside. The owner, or employee, was welcoming and it was really a great place to have some gourmet toast and relax before I walked back into the center of town. The atmosphere was very hip, the music playing was in good taste and they even had candles at each table, in the daytime! I had the Cheeses Christ. It was good. I also had their homemade lemonade, which was delicious. I would highly recommend this place if you happen to be in the area! It was a great place to sit around, have a snack, recharge my phone and enjoy the gourmet toast sandwich and catch up using their wifi! Fantastic!

I ordered both the tuna and salmon toast. Both were nice, but I like the tuna ones better. I like that they put a tad bit of spring onion in the middle, caught me by surprise (in a good way). Though for a lunch, it was just way too small portion for me. I wasn't too crazy with their dill dressing and hot sauce (was more like a tomato ketchup for me). The people who work there were really nice, very welcoming with charming smiles on their faces. PS: I recommend getting the avocado with spring onion on top (can't remember the name).

Everyone was so incredibly friendly and the food was delicious! The tables we're candlelit and the atmosphere was so beautiful. Will definitely recommend.

Super nice people that works there. very friendly, cool, real. They recommend the good thing to take. I really love my experience. I decided to sat on the terrasse for lunch even if it was in the shadow, but the neighbourhood (norrebro) is calm (no car passing on the street) but alive. This place is a "hit" right now. The choices are creative, without being too much. The food is good and not too expensive (40kr per stick of croque-monsieur). So you get to taste to thing during your lunch. I will go back, and even spend time inside, checking out the big windows. Cheers to the cousins!

Nice little place in Nørrebro. Good food with nice staff. The portions looked a little small at first, but I was surprised how much food was in the two toasts I ordered. Prices are pretty good, so I think I'll go here again some time.

Delicious "toast restaurant" that is perfect for brunch. Leave your gluten-free friends at home! Hipster atmosphere and amusing waiters. The menu says to order 2-3 toasts, but if you order 3, they will judge your appetite! haha

Unassuming but brilliant cosy little bar/café. We visited late on a Friday night and it was buzzing. Such a fun atmosphere, and lots of fun people, with a good menu of drinks. If only it were open all night long!

Came here for a late night dinner after getting off a flight. It was my first meal in Denmark, and the staff was extremely nice. The veggie experience toast flight was excellent. Also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere
