Atm there is an interactive installation and there is always something going on in the space. You will find new and old books, music of all kinds and childrens' fold out books."

"O Golfinho, Alcântara. This place is 63 years old and has a 150 year old olive oil container which is still in use.The cliental is loyal and they are most happy that they can have a cigarette in-between kebabs, beers and espresso’s.We highly recommend the pork sandwich which makes us miss Denmark where “flæskesteg” is a celebrated classic."

"Brick Cafe, Intendente Anjos. Brick is London meets Lisbon. They are responsible for the boost of brunch culture in the city, and they're still the most iconic. While competition is definitely sprawling now, the café holds its crown confidently, by being the most unique. Besides the usuals eggs, bakery and fruit, mix in some portuguese style octopus salad, cold meats from the Alentejo region and “peixinhos da horta“ — a green bean tempura meaning garden fishes —, and you got an unbeatable recipe."

"A Vida Portuguesa, Intendente Anjos. The neighborhood's crown jewel. After setting a few stores in Lisbon and Porto, A Vida Portuguesa arrived at Intendente with its “flagship” store as one of the first inhabitants of the reconversion. It's hard to define the place in words, since it features a world of vintage Portuguese visual history, so you can and should expect to lose inside its many rooms, but expect to see thousands of portuguese designed products from the early 20th century, reflecting older times when the country was proudly — and foolishly —isolated but also cherished and built brands confidently and with a passion. The graphic languages found here are a designer's fantasy and some of the most exquisite you'll find in Europe."

"RDA 69, Intendente Anjos. A think tank, cultural association, "not a bar", and host for several other collectives of crafters, doers and thinkers. RDA69 is easily the most dynamic entity in the new Lisbon associative movement. The zeitgeist issues are regularly read, screened and discussed, but there is a lot of space for just chilling out, play foosball or listen to some tunes. Acting as a catalyser for other collectives it even hosts them through their week calendar, so you can learn how to mount your own bike on Wednesday evenings with Cicloficina dos Anjos, or maintain your custom gaming machine on Thursdays with 1000101. The cherry on top of it must be the Communal Kitchen collective, preparing vegan-friendly menus every night."

"Gelataria mú, Intendente Anjos. Genuine italian gelatto by genuine italians, that help give it its homely ambience. It also helps that they use season fruit and organic ingredients in most of what they sell. And they made the local tradition of expresso even better by joining a small ball of ice cream to it."

"Feira das Almas, Intendente Anjos. Situated at Taberna das Almas (Tavern of Souls) and happening once a month, Feira das Almas is one of the epicenters of the cultural rebirth of the neighborhood. A place for independent creators to show and sell their stuff, it's also a nice excuse to a weekend of dj's, food and drinks amidst Lisbon's proto-Williamsburg folks."

"Secadegas, Intendente Anjos. Secadegas is the cosiest place you'll find in Intendente. In every sense: the food, the homely decoration reminiscent of simpler times, and the nicest staff around all help you feel at a friend's place. Besides the comfort food and delicious petiscos — the portuguese tapas—, you'll also taste some important national treats such as duck rice, black pork steak or “bacalhau com natas“. "Carvoaria Jacto, Intendente Anjos. The neighborhood's steak house of excellence, using the best local beef and a few of Portugal's unique kinds like the tender Mirandesa, from the northeast corner of the country."

"Crew Hassan, Intendente Anjos. Rising from the ashes with the crisis, the old known Lisboner spot chose Anjos to resettle on its second incarnation. Crew provided many different functions. You can dance the twist on early evenings here, enjoy an interior street art gallery, or just come at the afternoon and browser their vynil collection with some rarities from Portuguese 80's pop culture or classic albums from some of the best artists in the so called lusophone world (Portugal's former colonies in Africa or Brazil). "Josephine, Intendente Anjos. The best burger of the neighborhood comes from the hands of the luso-french Josephine. But I'm not even sure that's the best they serve, since the steak is so incredible too. And this is only lunch, but check out their breakfast and snack menus throughout the day. "A Avó vem trabalhar, Poço Dos Negros. *A Avó vem trabalhar* is a learning, sharing and empowerment project, led by FERMENTA, which through the use of traditional handcrafts and design increases the power of the senior intervention in our society. Within an increasingly dynamic neighbourhood where new spaces are opening - bars, cafés and galleries that blend with the calm and slow pace of the oldest inhabitants - the project is presented as an opportunity to fill this gap between the two realities, offering each generation a place where they can meet, discuss and learn from each other. The space presents itself as a "creative laboratory" that people can attend, and where they can use the materials, machines, learn from the more experienced grandparents and feel the space as an extension of their own homes. The team of *A Avó vem trabalhar*, is composed by Susana António, Ângelo Campota, 65 grandparents and some volunteers and interns. It proposes a series of workshops and events where several generations are invited to meet. All of the craft creations are on sale in the store and the collections change every three months.The space is open Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m."

"Oficina Colectiva, Poço Dos Negros. Oficina Colectiva occupies an old bakery shop and is today a multidisciplinary co-work space, aimed for freelancers working in the creative industries and the arts. It is located in an area where traditional trade intersects with new creative spaces. It has individual desks as well as an area for workshop activities. The entrance space, which is usually used as a collective store and shop, exhibiting many of the products produced by the residents, can also host exhibitions and other external events. It is open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m."

"Tomás Miranda Luthier, Poço Dos Negros. *Tomás Miranda began working as an instrument repair technician in 1980 in the company Custódio Cardoso Pereira*. In 1985 he did an internship in the factory Amati instruments in Kraslice (Czechoslovakia). In 1988 he led a professional training project for the repair and restoration of musical instruments in the Couesnon factory in *Chateaux-Thierry and in the École Nationale des Métiers de la Musique*, Le Mans.
