Alps & Amici

If you are heading to an AirBnB, highly recommend stocking up on some easy delicious meals and treats from this gem of a deli. A wonderful selection of pre made meals for when dining out is less accessible in regional Tassie.

Bread & Butter

Cafe · Launceston

Some of the best sourdough you'll ever have. Do not sleep on their sandwiches. 1000 points for the Mt Roland Egg number. Don't miss the choc chip cookie either.

Fantastic neighbourhood Korean food, served family style. Make sure to get the sticky chicken, the pancake, the beef noods!

Billy’s Burgers and Bar

Burger Joint · Hobart

Enjoy lunch on the water with good burgers and exceptionally good chippies and shakes

Templo

Book now and thank me later for truly delicious Italian

Hotel Bruny

Hotel · Kingborough

You'll want to get a chalet as part of the Hotel Bruny Lodge. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on the balcony as the sun sets, watching the white wallabies pass by. Plus, you can get takeaway from the Hotel to enjoy away from the hustle of the pub.

Pizza and an iced cold beverages at sunset or a casual breakfast to feel like a local in North Hobart

Born In Brunswick

Restaurant · North Hobart

Excellent breakfast spot - the smoothies are particularly good.

Cape Raoul

Scenic Lookout · Tasman

A challenging-ish hike that is worth the effort for ripping views, including seal spotting at the end. Breathtaking views and inclines!

It's ALOT of steps but the views are spectacular. Look out for the echidnas and treat yourself to a refreshing swim in Fortescue Bay post hike.

A 16km round trip hike to the most southerly point in Australia for pretty much any fitness level. It's a stunning trip that moves through all types of terrain. Take your lunch and watch the surfers roll in at South Cape Bay.

Cape Queen Elizabeth Track

Trail · Kingborough

Best time to go is in the morning at low tide to see the Rock Arch and the fresh wallaby tracks.

Ashdowns of Dover Bed & Breakfast

Bed & breakfast · Dover

Stay here the night before South Cape Bay hike so you can get an early start. It's the most cozy, homely B&B you'll ever come across. Enjoy dinner and breakfast, feed the sheep and kick back by the fire.

Doo-lishus

Australian restaurant · Eaglehawk Neck

A quintessential roadside fish and chip shop, cash only.

Landscape Restaurant & Grill

Australian Restaurant · Hobart

Dark, sexy, pretty 'fancy', make a date of it

Willie Smith Organic Apple Cider

Brewery · Huon Valley

It will be busy at peak times but if you can snag a table, any icy cold glass of cider goes down a treat

MONA

Art museum · Berriedale

Can you go to Hobart and not go to MONA?

Bruny Island Premium Wines

Winery · Kingborough

Like everything on Bruny, book ahead and kick back for lunch and plenty of Pinot Noir.

Hotel Bruny

Bar · Kingborough

The perfect island pub. Don't even think of trying to get a table without booking ahead!

Bruny Island Cheese Company

Cheese Shop · Kingborough

An essential stop on Bruny. You'll have to tussle to get a seat but it's worth the wait. Treat yourself to a flight of wine and a shared platter - the fresh sourdough is tops.
