Doo-lishus

Was pretty hungry from travelling so much so just went to the nearest place to eat. Did not expect to eat the best fish and chips of my life. The chips where crispy, but soft and the fish had the best crunchy batter. Absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend a slight detour to try the fish and chips! Plenty of parking and surrounding benches to eat if the ones out front are full.

What a great location, you can sit pretty close to the lookout of the sea and rocks. Tried scallop pie for the first time, it was ok. Have none to compared to of course, but in general, I can’t say I like it better than say, beef pie. There are visible scallops though inside pie, probably about 6 of them. I think you definitely need some sort of sauce to eat it with. Squid and chips are cooked well. We tried the berry ice cream and was blown away, it was so good, even better than the one we had at Berry Farm! What a surprise. Not a cheap meal but in general, happy with it.

The hubby and son said the best fish n chips they’ve ever ate. I had a toastie which was delicious too and we all had a cappuccino to finish it off. Very busy little place but worth the wait. Great feed, definitely recommend! Great little walk to the blow hole too.

Lovely place to stop for a quick bite during your road trip. Just meters from the blow hole. Of course you must try their signature curry scallop pie. Fish and chips, fisherman’s platter and ice cream is also worth trying. Clean public toilets nearby.

Food lovely and fresh and quick. Scallop.and chips were to die for. Curried scallop pie good but have been spoilt with a better one elsewhere 😀

Ordered chips and berry icecream. They were both fresh and great. Disappointed because the serving size of chips for us was almost half of what everyone else got. We were probably the last one to get our order from the freshly cooked lot.

Great place to get a seafood lunch and cold drink. Great tasting fish, squid, prawns and scallops. Reasonably priced. Food van is situated at the Blowhole parking lot, lots of space and tables.

We had lovely fresh fish, calamari and chips from Doo Lishus and took them own to the jetty and enjoyed a seal chasing fish and playing. Such a memorable moment ☀️🥰
