The Pig and The Lady serves vibrant modern Vietnamese fare in a bustling vibe, famed for its rich pho and delightful communal dining experience.
"The Pig and the Lady is a must-visit spot for its modern Vietnamese flavors. Its famous pho French dip is offered at lunch, while even more playful dishes are on the frequently updated dinner menu, which recently included escargot baked in green curry sauce and scallops over seaweed porridge with dollops of dried aku XO sauce. You can also find the Pig and the Lady’s more traditional noodle soups, rice bowls, and sandwiches at its farmers market stalls." - Martha Cheng
"The Pig and the Lady was one of the first on the island to serve a phở french dip, and while you’ll find a few other versions around, this is still the best. While the sandwich is only available for lunch, it’s worth stopping by for a midday meal powered by this braised brisket-stuffed creation that’s spiked with a Thai basil chimichurri and comes with a side of phở broth for dipping. This is also one of our favorite group dinner spots, and not just because of the loud industrial dining room and The Big Trouble in Little China-themed bathroom. Vietnamese and other Southeast Asian ingredients collide in dishes like baked escargot in a seafood curry sauce and pork collar with vadouvan curried lentils. Always save room for the soft serve swirl, which constantly features different flavors." - Martha Cheng
"A Vietnamese restaurant known for its pho and vibrant atmosphere."
"A modern Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown offering a diverse menu including Burmese salad and various noodle sides."
"Le Fried Chicken Wings are a house favorite since opening day in 2013. These twice-fried wings are light and crispy, meaty, and topped with peanuts, makrut leaves, pickled red onion, and a vinegary, citrusy 'money sauce.' The sauce, inspired by local ingredients, balances sour, sweet, salty, spicy, and aromatic flavors." - Kayla Becker
