Rosewood Estates Winery

Wow, wow, wow! You need to go visit this beautiful winery ASAP. I hadn’t gone for a visit in about 10 years and regret not going back sooner. They have completely renovated their space into a Sonomaesque setting - elevated, but accessible and homey. My husband and I went recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary and took part in their Wine + Food Experience. We had a 3 course meal of seasonal farm-to-table creations from their scratch kitchen paired with their delectable wines, hand selected by their expert sommelier. This experience was high-end and beyond worth what we paid ($60/person). With each course the sommelier presented the wine sharing not only about the wine itself, but the vineyards history and her exquisite personal experiences and suggestions for other local spots to visit. Each course, the sous chef accompanied and provided an in depth explanation on what we were able to enjoy. The food was not only mouth watering, but healthy, local and sustainable. They truly have checked off all the boxes and more on this experience. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable! We certainly won’t be waiting long to come back and visit again.

This place is a fantastic escape from the big city. I can't think of a better experience. One of the first things that was very important to us is that the place is pet-friendly and allows dogs on the patio. The food is amazing, with a complex and layered taste, offering a rich blend of flavors. I especially enjoyed the On Rye sandwiches and the Lamb kebab, but the Pork loin and Garlic sausage were also very good. The friendly staff really helped make the experience great. Plus, they not only have wine but also mead, which is pretty hard to find in Ontario.

Highly recommend the winery & cellar tour. The Estate Sommelier Anne showed us winemaking behind the scene and it was truly amazing. Lots of tasting opportunities during the tour. Anne is so knowledgeable, passionate, and at the same time so funny! The tour was interactive and engaging. Anne patiently answered every question I had. A great experience all around!! p.s. the mead is not to be missed

I’m in love with this place. You can enjoy a set of wine tasting for only $20 and a small dish of duck liver with under $10. Tasting wine in the patio is a great experience during summer

We reserved a tasting for 7 on Saturday for a bachelorette as well as a Charcuterie and cheese plate. Our guide, Ann (Anne?) was absolutely fabulous. We had some novice wine drinkers and some more experienced and she was able to speak to both. She was so much fun and even though a few of us have been to Rosewood before, this was probably the most fun we had there to date. The food was also amazing and they were able to cater to a couple of gluten free requests. 10/10 experience!

Lovely! It's a gem! Beautiful peaceful landscape. You cannot ask for a better sunny summer patio overlooking wineyards. Service and staff was friendly, cheese plate was awesome and experience was magical. Wines were not up our valley (besides white rabbit and cab franc) but it was such a lovely and enjoyable experience I would recommend this winery to anyone who enjoys quality and good vibes. Honestly, my favorite winery in the region so far by atmosphere. Thank you! You run your business with love. We could tell. And your honey is delicious!

Good wine and relaxing views.. the corn bread dessert was so delicious! The smell of lavender surrounding the patio will transport you to South of France. Our server was attentive too. Girl in the shop register could improve thou. I told her I want to buy the 3kg honey and her response was "do you want me to get it for you or will you get it?" Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, okay ma'am!!! Lol 😅

This was an absolutely amazing place. From our first step into the winery we were greeted with warmth and smiles. Our waitress Montana was knowledgeable and explained everything on the menu and gave us her recommendations. She was spot on as our choices proved to be nothing but the best. Every plate she brought out were beautifully presented and picture perfect, colorful and tasty. Thanks Montana. You made our Father’s Day experience a memorable one.
