"I've been a fan of theirs forever. I really fell in love with them when I was filming Queer Eye in Philly. They have their beautiful headquarters there in Fishtown. Their cold brew is so nice—it's not too bitter, not too acidic. It's smooth. Monday through Friday, I limit dairy and dairy alternatives, so I have to drink it black. While I love a lot of these Australian coffee shops, some of them tend to go high acidity, high bitterness, and really intense concentrated coffee. I want to be able to sip on it. I want it to be nice and smooth. If I don't chug it too quickly and it warms up, you still want it to be smooth enough, you know? And I feel like La Colombe just hits it out of the park. I've narrowed my cold brew intake down, too. I'm down to between two and three. I used to have five or six a day. Coffee's good for you, but the old heart can't take that much caffeine, you know?" - brennan carley

"Iced coffee? More like iced crack. We’re not scientists but we feel confident in saying this is the strongest iced coffee that has ever existed. Ever. La Colombe adds an extra shot of espresso in every coffee they serve, so with your cup of coffee comes the most productive day you’ve ever had. Love it. Need it. And with almond croissant on the side." - The Charles

"With cafés in four major cities, La Colombe is looking to build a little empire—which makes total sense. The in-house beans are some of New York City's best, and the café itself is serene and beautiful. Locations vary in size (some have tables where you could totally pull out a laptop), and you can usually find a place to at least perch for a bit. This outpost is the most spacious; it's good for writing or reading but doesn't offer Wi-Fi."

The cookie was out of this world. It’s nice to have a coffee in NYC where waiters don’t look like they/them. Felt warm.

Good coffee - not very convenient space for work/study

The well balanced espresso shined as the star of a two shot cappuccino show. The barista team at work here has the grace and tenacity of Olympic rowing. The plain beak nosed cashier with short red nails dropped my change from a height of several inches as if the thought of making physical contact with the palm of another person turned her stomach. My change clattered loudly and obviously on the countertop while she obliviously or contemptuously moved on to serve the next customer. Bizarre service … like prickly performance art.

Probably the worst experience I had yet and I’m a fan of La Colombe Coffee, however, today the hospitality was not it. The lady who was taking orders today was just plain rude! She gave me a face when I asked if the order was mine and purposely looked away or acted to do something when I approached the register. Not to mention she did not give me the two croissants I ordered. Keep in mind it was empty. When I asked if I could get my croissant she informed me that she did not charge me but in fact she did, once I showed her the receipt all she said was “oh you did”, did not even apologize. I really hope she doesn’t treat other people like this because if she does, then what’s the whole point of working in a shop that involves taking orders and dealing with customers. 4/5/25-1:30pm EST

We love this coffee bar and we love their peanut butter cookies. Everyone that works here is so nice and we love getting our afternoon cuppa JOE here. A+

I really like the location of this place and it's easy to get to, they're cute little seats inside, the staff is super nice. I had the oat milk latte on tap and it was to die for. It was perfectly blended and I added a little bit of stevia, oh my god, I can't believe this is coffee. It's basically a milkshake with espresso without the calories. That's the kind of texture you're going to get. I can't wait to go back and Have another one

Coffee is nice and well made. However the staff was a bit snobbish and dry despite there weren't any other customers there. I understand people can have bad days, but don't pay it with your customers. Also the place has no toilet for customers which was an unpleasant surprise as I needed one.
