I would recommend @hartbageri to anyone visiting Copenhagen. They have several locations in the city and they are all good locations with cute design. Seems like there are several items that are popular among the different customers I came across, but their famous cardamom croissant was recommended to me and I liked it! Not too sweet and it was crispy but doughy. Their coffee was well brewed and went well with the pastry!

Amazing cinnamon twist, lightly sweetened and with a delicate Cinnamon flavor...I also had the super creamy iced matcha. I like that it was not sweetened. the cold press juice was also quite refreshing. I tried the cardamon croissant as well, it was fluffy and buttery but I liked the cinnamon twist best! It was so so so yummy.

I really miss HART’s bread. 😋 The first time I visited, it was early in the morning, and the line was incredibly long. I wanted to grab a coffee and enjoy some bread outside, but there weren’t any available seats, so I ended up having breakfast at PROLOG (which was amazing too) across the street. The second time I visited was in the evening, and luckily, it wasn’t as crowded. Every bread on display looked absolutely delicious. I ended up choosing a cinnamon twist, which had a croissant-like texture—super crispy and tasty. Unfortunately, it wasn’t heated (not sure if I could’ve asked the staff to heat it up). The coffee seemed to use beans from PROLOG, but the milk foam temperature felt slightly too cool given the chilly weather. Nevertheless, I had a fantastic experience at HART. I noticed on their official Instagram that they recently made PANETTONE, and it looked incredible. It’s such a shame my trip to Denmark had already ended.

Hart Bageri is a nice little cafe located in the meat packing district of Copenhagen. The drinks and pastries were delicious using high quality ingredients. The popular cardamom bun is as good as everyone recommends, it's not too sweet and has flaky buttery layers.

sesame bun was delicious - crunchy and fragrant crust with a moist but airy crumb. had it with cheese and LOVED it, ended up buying one for the flight home (it tastes really good on its own too). cardamom crossaint was buttery, not too sweet and spiced just right. not mindblowing but still very yummy.

Obsessed - we liked the pastries so much, we went to 3 other locations on different days. Please to report we had the same great service, options and consistency at each one. The highlight is the cardamom bun, which they are rightfully famous for. I also loved the classic Danish butter cheese sandwich (regular bun for me but they have 2 other flavor options). The coffee is also good and we liked that they have plant-based milk options as well.

Cute and warm place for a bakery. Tried their sausage roll and danish, so good!! Plus the view from the store is just gorgeous
