"The owners of Friorellino love pizza, so much so that they started with a wood-burning oven, and built an entire restaurant around it. In addition to serving dinner every night of the week, Fiorellino offers a weekday breakfast featuring its homemade bread, pastries and desserts. You’ll also find shelves stocking products imported directly from Italy, from sodas, to pastas and canned tomatoes. Drop by Fiorellino for a Sopprassata Piccanta pizza, then make your way to the Shopify office next door and say hi to the team!" - Shopify
"This reliable Italian snack bar is known to prepare classic antipasti like meatballs and fritto misto (a mix of fried ingredients) and gorgeous plates of pasta, but its ovens also crank out some excellent, char-spotted pies in saucy and sauce-less (“bianca”) varieties, making it an essential Montreal pizza destination, too. Downtown Montreal, Mile End, and Little Burgundy are all lucky to have their own outpost." - Joel Balsam, Valerie Silva, Eater Staff

Montreal’s Best Restaurants for Lunch Specials | Eater Montreal
"At lunchtime, all mains at this tidy downtown Italian spot come with soup, salad, or some fancier appetizers for a few extra dollars. Mains range in price from $16 for a Romana pizza (with fior di latte, oregano, garlic, chilis, anchovies and capers) to $26 for a Caprese pizza (with marinated tomatoes, basil, parmigiano, garlic and bufala mozzarella)." - Ashley Joseph
The Best Valentine’s Day Restaurants in Montreal (With Space) | Eater Montreal
"No fuss pizza and pasta classics reign at the chic second location of this mid-range Italian eatery — the slightly more casual downtown location (on de la Gauchetière) also has spaces available." - Tim Forster
I am in Montréal for a conference and was looking for a legit Neapolitan pizza option. Fiorellino is a fantastic entry walking distance to the convention center. We ordered some pasta also. Pictured is sausage pizza with burrata added. And the shrimp and bolognese pastas. Also the bianca whiskey drink and calamari appetizer. The service was attentive and actually cared for us to have a good experience. The seating was a little tight and the EDM was pumpin’. The customer next to us was clearly drunk, knocked over his table, and smashed several glasses under our table. My wife cut her toe on the broken glass. We had to make sure our kids didn’t stand on the broken glass. While this was profoundly annoying, it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault and, to their credit, they were all over us to make sure we were okay. Overall a great option in city full of great options.

The pizza was actually delicious; fresh and really well-made. However, the wine was served a bit too warm for our taste, which wasn’t ideal.
What bothered us most was the rushed service. While we were still chatting with food left on the table, the waiter came by to ask if we were done, making us feel like we had to hurry, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. It definitely took away from the experience.

Great place to eat. The waiter, Zach, was well versed in all the menu options and made good recommendations. We added prosciutto to our tomato smoked mozzarella pizza and the salad (arugula, pickled fennel, picked onions, and mandarins) was a fantastic addition. Visited on a Sunday night in late July.

After landing in Montreal from Australia we were looking for a quick meal…. We hit the jackpot! The food was delicious, amazing pizza, fantastic gnocchi and the service was outstanding!
We sat at the bar and chatted with Patrick who was so great to talk to. His knowledge of the drinks was second to none.
We went back the second night and will be going back for a third, if not fourth before we leave!!

I was looking for a charming, welcoming Italian restaurant and was not disappointed! This spot in downtown Montreal was absolutely delightful. I ordered the creste al ragù, which was delicious, as well as the vodka pasta and their fresh mixed lettuce salad. Everything tasted authentic and well-prepared.
The only thing I would mention is that, for the price, the pasta portions felt a little small. That said, the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere more than made up for it. Our waiter was extremely polite and the overall staff was very friendly.

Came to Fiorellino for dinner with friends. We had an early (6pm) dinner reservation to beat the rush. It got very busy and plaid while we were there. The drinks were fantastic and the food was even better. Everything is hand made in house daily from scratch. The vodka rigatoni was creamy without being overpowering. The gnocchi was equally delicious. If happy return again, next time looking to try their pizza.

Stopped by on St Patrick’s day of all days “St Patrick’s Church is across the street” the bar tender was amazing and helped me order everything I wanted with custom options per his advice. The pizza was on point, the appetizer and beer were great and made the whole visit enjoyable. Stop in, be ready for some great food.
