Cantada II

Probably my favorite bar in Paris. The atmosphere and the decorations are amazing, the service is fair, and the music is excellent (rock-metal-hard rock top-hits). 'The heavy metal absinthe bar in Paris' out of the ordinary, genuine and has a great selection of green, white, orange and red absinthe.

Once they heard my American accent the bouncer just said "no more room" and then turned and let others in. Obviously they have zero interest in business from anyone that isn't a local. We stood around a bit, realized that we weren't going to be allowed in and then left for another bar. Real waste especially since it is out of the way. Avoid.

Lots of potential here - plenty of wine, absinthe and rock music. The staff is a bit stiff, though. Doesn't suit the place.

Great hardcore artwork, a really cool bartender and a vasy variety of 70 absinthe options!

Tasty and original cocktails, although the quality and service have declined over the last few months.
