Delve into rich, smoked meats and juicy burgers at 4505 Burgers & BBQ, where the sunny patio and lively vibe make this BBQ haven a go-to in NoPa.
"If you’re in NoPa and in need of a place with ample seating and lots of smoked meat, hit up the covered patio at 4505 Burgers & BBQ on Divisadero. Along with plenty of long picnic tables, they also have some of our favorite barbecue in the city. Get a platter of brisket and smokey ribs, or the excellent cheeseburger, and maybe a root beer float for dessert." - julia chen 1
"“Burger” is right there in the name so it only makes sense that this Divisadero Street stalwart, a meaty destination known for barbecue and ample outdoor seating, knows how to do them right. The burger here means a hefty quarter-pounder topped with iceberg lettuce, onions, gruyere cheese, and secret sauce. The bun, meanwhile, gets a boost from sesame seeds and scallions." - Lauren Saria, Eater Staff, Paolo Bicchieri
"Ryan Farr’s restaurant continues to dishe out some of the best smoked meat in the Bay, especially if you’re a fan of lush, thick-sliced brisket. The side dishes are especially good, including a wicked fried mac and cheese and hot dog creation. Plus, the Divisidero Street staple has a fantastic outdoor patio." - Eater Staff
"There’s nothing better than gobbling down smoked meats and juicy burgers outside, so we embrace 4505 Burgers & BBQ. The NoPa spot is turning out solid brisket and pork spare ribs, and serving everything on a semi-covered patio where you can people-watch all the action on Divisadero Street. Whatever you end up ordering, you'll want to sit at a communal table in the company of cider, soda, or a pitcher of beer. " - lani conway, julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez
"4505 Burgers & BBQ is a relative new comer to a location that has hosted BBQ joints for a mighty long time. The inside has only a couple of seats, but the outside patio is great on sunny days, foggy days and cold nights. The brisket is amazing, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. One out of one Texans we polled declared it to be really pretty good. Oh, and they have Frankaroni." - Upperquad
