"R House is technically a restaurant in Wynwood that serves a broadly Latin menu with empanadas and a cuban sandwich. But you’re not coming here for the food. You’re coming here for the drag, which is an absolute blast. If you’re familiar with this place because you stumbled in once six years ago, know that the R House today is completely different. The focal point of the revamped indoor-outdoor space is a long catwalk where performers leap, whip ponytails, and lip sync with an intensity that can bring a happy tear to your eye if you’re nearly done with your third margarita. Drag Race alumni often book shows here, but R House also has plenty of Miami talent who tear the roof off on a nightly basis. They do brunch, but it also makes for a fun, ear-destroyingly loud Saturday night with friends. There’s usually a cover charge or minimum spend for certain events, and the drinks are better than the food, so come prepared to split a margarita pitcher or two." - Ryan Pfeffer
