"Michael Anthony, executive chef at the iconic Gramercy Tavern, says that Thanksgiving service, from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., is the busiest day of the year, even though the restaurant only opened for the holiday three years ago. “It is incredible, really. The turnout is amazing,” he said. For staff, the restaurant does an extended family meal with a snack bar that’s replenished with lunch, afternoon snacks, and early dinner. And yes, it’s been fully booked since reservations went live." - Melissa McCart
