The Gutter L.E.S.

Bowling alley · Lower East Side

I’ve never been to this location but the Williamsburg location is fun. Unfortunately it is 21+. This location is all ages till 7pm and is in the Essex Market, which has a food hall and over 40 food vendors.

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt

Tourist attraction · Midtown East

I’ve never been here but your kids might like that this is the most photo/selfie friendly “viewing” spot of NYC. It’s also in Grand Central Station so you have the added bonus of being able to walk around there (and pop into the Oyster Bar for a clam chowder at the lunch counter if you’re feeling peckish).

Pier 11 / Wall St.

Ferry terminal · New York County

If you can work it out with your schedule, I’d take the ferry from here to Williamsburg (either the South or North spot depending on what you’re optimizing for activity wise). It’s really pretty, cheap and relatively quick, too.

Salon 94

Art gallery · Upper East Side

Judd furniture on view ending April 1st.

The Museum at FIT

Art museum · Chelsea

Small but free and has a cool sounding exhibit “FRESH, FLY, AND FABULOUS: FIFTY YEARS OF HIP HOP STYLE” on right now.

Chess Forum

Game store · Greenwich Village

They have chess sets for sale as well as drop in games.

Poster House

Museum · Chelsea

Wojtek just went on a field trip here and loved it. His class visited the Black Power to Black People: Branding the Black Panther Party exhibit.

New Museum

Temporarily Closed

The current exhibit is a must see!
