Zutto Tribeca has a great and laid back ambiance, a great variety of options for food and fair pricing. Their sashimi dinner option comes with 12 pieces of sashimi and each are a proper thick cut, no cutting corners here! They have great drink options, delicious food, and great staff!

We went in recently for a wonderful Friday dinner with our 2 dogs and we had a great time. We ordered some a-la-carte sushi as well another sushi roll along with some of their delicious karage fried chicken. We also ordered some pan fried chicken gyoza which was delicious as well. The service was excellent and they even brought out a bowl of water for the doggos.

This is my normal go to spot for ramen. It’s usually pretty decent, but tonight I ordered the chicken buns for delivery and immediately spotted a long, thick, black hair when I opened the package. It was like, wrapped in the bun, had to pull to get it out. Definitely not mine. Put me off my appetite. Disgusting.

We came to have some sushi, the sushi bowl was amazing, the big sushi platter was so yummy and delicious make sure you get the volcano rolls. My kids wanted to get some noodles, we also ended up ordering tokotasu noodles it was worth it. It’s nice if you come to enjoy over the winter! The noodles was worth the wait! Highly recommend the noodles.

Great place in the middle of the city but somewhat quiet:) really loved the food. Definitely coming back there again.

I had an appointment in the nearby area. And y'all know how you have to fast for an appointment... Nuff said. I was starving, my belly button touching the inside of my back typa hungry babes. Lol I wanted something hot and filling so I did my usual Yelp search and found this gem. I will say, it's super duper casual. No bells n whistles but their staff is amazing. They have indoor and outdoor seating and you get served fast. They have a happy hour menu that included not just discounted drinks but discount food. There is a ramen option for maybe $15 but I forgot to turn the HP menu over and ordered the original price ramen. The broth was very savory and rich, lots of umami. I added a soy egg at an additional cost and it was so good. The noodles were perfectly slurpable and the pork was so tender. It was a very filling meal. I had it alongside a cold beer and it was a perfect summer afternoon.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and was relatively empty. Food was absolutely amazing. My party had the ramen, poke bowl, and I had their burger. IMO, the poke bowl was their best! And would highly recommend this. My burger was cooked just right and the fries were absolutely perfect! Crispy and delicious! Prices are very fair and reasonable for manhattan and I would say actually on the lower end, about $20-$25 per entree. Service was amazing and fast and servers were extremely kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend this place and actually seems like a very nice place to go for happy hour! Most definitely will be coming back in the future

Came here for lunch on the weekend and they seated us quickly. The ambiance and space is really nice but I think it's better suited for happy hour. The tonkatsu ramen was just ok as I prefer the broth with more pork bone flavor. The broth tasted more American than Japanese if you know what I mean. The charsiu pieces were big but I really expected an egg for a $20 ramen. The salmon poke bowl was much better. It was tasty and had lots of toppings. The wagyu burger was delicious as well and the thin fries were perfectly crispy. I also had the spicy tuna fried rice appetizer which I thought was tasty. I would definitely come back here for happy hour as the ambience is pretty dark and spacious. I think the food is good except for the ramen, which is weird because I thought that's what they're known for.

Stopped by after work with few friends, ordered seafood ramen, tonkatsu ramen, twin roll, yellowtail scallion roll, and karage chicken appetizer. The seafood ramen came with ton of seafood including giant scallop and fresh clams. The sushi rolls were chunky and fresh. The karage was juicy and crispy. Would recommend! Server was friendly and easy to work with, the restaurant is sizable!

Stopped in for lunch with my husband and two toddlers. Friendly service and they have high chairs. We ordered the yuzu shishito peppers-amazing flavor and wow what a large portion. The yuzu edamame are also a hit. My kids enjoyed the plain steamed edamame. The sesame chicken wings were just okay- too sweet for my taste. The yellowtail jalapeño was another hit. My daughter had two orders all to herself(jalapeño omitted). The yellowtail jalapeño roll was very good. One thing I noticed and really appreciated is how much fish is in the roll and just a thin layer of rice. Miso soup also very flavorful. We would def. Return as the food is impeccable and the service is A+.

I happened to stumble across this hidden gem while on the hunt for a quick bite, and it turned out to be an absolute delight! The service was quick, and the server went above and beyond with their kindness, making the whole experience that much better. The restaurant itself is a perfect mix of modern and cozy, with a stylish vibe that pulls you in. Now, onto the real showstopper: the food. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen, and it was an explosion of flavor--perfectly spiced, not too overpowering, but just enough kick to keep it exciting. Everything was balanced and rich, making each bite better than the last. This place is a standout, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting New York without hesitation!

Stopped by on a Sunday evening for dinner and it was popular and crowded. Started with the Rock Shrimp Tempura which was solid and had a number of interesting special rolls: Spicy Girl, Twins, Spider and Zutto - all good. Great neighborhood restaurant!

What a fun place! I learned about Zutto through a Yelp Elite event that catered some small bites from this restaurant, and so I had to come back for more! After meeting the marketing manager, Cindy, I was really excited to see what more flavors I could experience. I came with two other Yelpers and we got a lot to try Starting with the appetizers, we got the wasabi bites, crispy tuna, and Karaage chicken. The wasabi bites were a nice level of spice. I think they actually used real wasabi as well since it tasted a bit sweet actually and not such a strong spice kick like the fake wasabi that is usually used in restaurants (the ones that are super spicy and look abnormally green). The next one was the crispy tuna and I loved the crispiness and crunch that I almost forgot about the tuna inside! My favorite though, had to be the Karaage chicken. I had a taste of it at the Yelp event but having it again, freshly made, was even better. The batter wasn't too thick and the skin was so nicely fried yet somehow retained the juiciness of the chicken. Not to mention it was a large chicken! And did I mention you can order a free appetizer if you use their stamp card? Be sure to ask them about it! I also ordered the Zutto Pork Belly buns and I enjoyed them. I thought it had an interesting sauce on it but I wish they added more of the herbs in the bun. Some cilantro would have brightened it up a bit in my opinion. The pork belly itself was large and juicy so it was a great bun put together. I was expecting it to be darker and a heavier braise but perhaps this is a different style than what I know, but either way - yum! My favorite part about it was the crushed peanuts, it gives it such a nice contrast of flavors and textures in my opinion. Now of course I had to get a bowl of ramen. I went with a classic Tonkatsu ramen and it was a good bowl. My one gripe was that it didn't come with an egg and that it actually was a separate add on. I thought that was surprising since usually it's an expected ingredient in a ramen. Other than that, I thought it was a decent bowl of ramen. I liked the broth the noodles as well. If I had to choose a favorite, it would really be the Karaage and the crispy tuna bites. I wished I had ordered more appetizers to try more but next time I return, I can explore more of their menu! Zutto saved me from a series of ramen withdrawals for the last 4 years. Little did I realize how much I would come to appreciate the care of the servers as well as the joy they always brought to my table. Service was impeccable! I always sit outside too. I don't really care how hot it is, I'm going to eat that hot ass ramen and sweat! I will be back again very very soon! #yuckbangapproved

Got a $30 gift card from one of the Yelp events and decided to use it now at their Tribeca location. Very fancy and elegant when you see it. There is outdoor seating filled with stainless steel chairs and red chairs along the windows. When I went in, I was greeted by the receptionist who I told I wanted to do takeout. I saw the paper menu and too bad there were no pictures of the food items listed and the receptionist was very courteous enough to show me their dine in menu filled with pictures. I originally wanted to get the katsu burger but wasn't sure if it included fries and knowing I was not really hungry, I decided to choose 2 rolls at $15.95. I chose salmon avocado and tuna avocado. Then I was ready to pay with the gift card and then the staff said I have to use the whole gift card of $30 all at once. So I then had to relook at their menu and decided to throw in a short rib fried rice at $15.95. Both of them were lunch special items and included a miso soup. My order came out to $34 so I had to cover the rest in my own. I then had to wait around 10 minutes for my order to finish. They put all the food along with utensils in a paper bag and plastic bag. As soon as I got to work, I saw that the short rib fried rice was not as much as I hope it turn out to be. It was small and I guess it is like that because it's a fancy place. The fried rice was glossy and had the right amount of oil and seasoning. The short ribs fell short on me because there was not enough of them in the fried rice. It was just a few pieces of meat and the platter was mostly decorated with lots of scallions and pieces of cut up cabbage although I finished the whole platter. The miso soup was as expected, somewhat salty and filled with kelp and few pieces of tofu and mushrooms. Not really my thing, probably because I expected it to be hot. I guess I will enjoy it more if it were a bit hotter in temperature. Next I tried the sushi rolls and wish they were filled with more sushi rice. They lacked a lot of rice and thankfully I had the fried rice to fill me up although the salmon and tuna were really fresh. The salmon was silky and had a creamy salmon taste in my mouth. Avocado was fresh too. I wish I tried their other options like the katsu burgers and ramen to see how they fare. Overall very fresh but small in portions.

!! The buns are OUT OF THIS WORD !! I mean the ramen is good to but really, just get the buns. Get many buns. I've never had buns as good. Service was great.

Zutto is an okay place to eat, but left more to be desired. I came here for dinner. The ambiance, food, and service were fine. I recommend the mushroom buns and vegetarian ramen with thin curly noodles.

Ambience 5/5 (very casual) Food 5/5 Service 4/5 I stumbled upon a hidden gem in Tribeca - a charming small Japanese restaurant! The food was not only incredibly delicious but also surprisingly affordable. They offer happy hours daily from 12-6pm! The spacious ambiance and the friendly waitress made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The crispy spicy tuna, karaage, and takoyaki at this restaurant were the perfect choice for a late afternoon snack. They not only satisfied my cravings but also brought back memories of enjoying delicious Japanese street food. Next time, I'm definitely going to try their ramen and $58 omakase.

Don't let the "American Pub" in its name turn you away from good quality sashimi. I also tried the ramen - rich miso broth with al dente noodles. The highlight of the dishes ordered was the... tuna. Firm but melted onto the palate with each bite. Worthy of additional start for selecting good quality seafood.

Came here for some refreshing ramen after a day of volleyball. Zutto has a good variety of ramen from miso, to shoyu, to seafood, to kimchi. Everyone in my group ordered something different, and everything turned out great! I particularly liked the tonkotsu shoyu and spicy chicken. The interior is really nice, cozy, and well air conditioned which is very important for eating ramen in the summer. Service was super fast and nice as well, we hardly had to wait long for anything. Overall, highly recommend!

Literally one of the best bowls of ramen I've had in a while. The wait was t too long and the broth was perfect temperature when it got to me. By the end I was satisfied and knew I'd probably come back

Had lunch with a friend. Wanted spicy ramen and asked waiter for choice between a couple, he suggested the pork tonkatsu. It was truly excellent, great flavors, slightly spicy, wonderful ingredients and a good amount of pork. Presentation was also top notch. Will absolutely come back and would recommend.

Came here for dinner with a friend to try a few dishes in a part of town we don't come to that frequently. We ordered: - Greenwich Roll special - Zutto pork belly bun -Karage chicken - Teriyaki Chicken - Mochi ice cream - Passion butterfly cocktail The bun was probably my favorite item we ordered. The pork belly was cooked and sauced perfectly. We also did really like the teriyaki chicken. For some reason the rice was especially good even for just plain rice. The sushi was good, but I wasn't blown away. The karage wasn't my favorite. The Mochi ice cream was super yummy way to end the meal. I really liked sampling them and deciding which flavor was the best. The cocktail was very pretty and it was just sweet enough for my liking. Our server was very informative and helpful when helping us choose what items we wanted off of this large menu. I think it's awesome that they have so many options. This is a wonderful restaurant to take a group with a variety of tastes since they offer sushi, ramen and other Japanese entrees. This is also a larger restaurant, so it would work well for a large group. Reservations were easy to get. Overall, a good experience. I enjoyed my time and would eat here again if I found myself in this area. 4/5

Grabbed lunch here during jury duty nearby. The Spicy Chicken Ramen was perfect to smooth my scratchy throat (thank you super spreader holiday parties!), and the brown rice green tea--while pricey at $3.50 a cup--was a nice accompaniment. I gotta commend them on their chicken--normally, I avoid chicken ramen because the chicken pieces are so dry. Zutto somehow managed to make sliced chicken breast moist and tender. I don't care if they marinated it in butter--they did something right and it came out excellent. Friendly staff and fast service. This is an ideal lunch spot.

This was a quick stop and I happened to bump into this restaurant. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen. The ramen was great and tasted homemade. Lots of garlic :) Service was quick and attentive. Will definitively come back and keep trying items on this menu!!

Really horrible experience because of the service.. not only did they not even come to our table at all for the first half hour when they did come they were just like.. pretty mean to us. Came for my bday and would not recommend it ruined the night and make it so awkward

Insane old asian staff member with anger issues threatened me and called me obscenities. Food was just ok and certainly not good enough to make up for it. If you do not order at least $30 per person, good chance they will call you cheap and yell at you not to come back again

Sweet and friendly waitress who, based on her personized recommendations, helped me to decide how to build my hearty bowl of Zutto for my rainy Saturday lunch! Good Ramen, Edamame was a bit too salty -- overall though, the lunch hit the spot, and I am glad I ordered the bowl of ramen that I did!

A while back, I wrote about the Ten Commandments of diners. I also have the Ten Commandments of ramen, and I followed two of these commandments to a T to make this a perfect meal. -Thou shall order extra noodles when offered -Thou shall order extra egg with thy meal Doing both work perfectly. It already is a solid bowl, with a delicious broth, which already leads into another commandment. -Thou shall try thy broth without any additions or subtractions The broth is a perfect blend of savory and smooth. The chashu pork is good, but it could be better with one more piece. The fact that they use plenty of noodles in this bowl make up for it. The extra vegetables in it make up for any lack of meat. I am not one to slurp the rest of the broth, but I did honor one commandment to make this an enjoyable meal. -Honor thy ramen by slurping noodles liberally There is no doubt to do that is absolutely right.

We stopped by here for sushi the other day and were not disappointed. The ambience is clean and modern and spacious. We ordered cocktails to start and the drinks came out quite strong. I really enjoyed my matcha coconut cocktail, and my friend had an old fashioned. We ordered the spicy chicken ramen and two rolls of sushi. Sushi presentation was beautiful and came in this gorgeous boat like dish. The fish was fresh and tasted good. My friend's ramen was also well made with all the flavor notes. This place is great for a quick bite, casual weeknight dinner or lunch with friends. The street is a little tucked away so it's not crazy busy, easy to hear each other talk. Service was attentive without feeling rushed or ignored. Great place!

Came here one Saturday at 5 pm before the rush and were able to be immediately seated without reservations, which was great. Cute, clean, intimate experience. Very friendly service.. I believe our server was named Danny? Giving an extra star for this. My daughter ordered the ramen, which she was able to personalize her toppings... which she loved. I didn't taste it, but I heard it was good. I ordered the twin roll, which was just ok... I've had much better.. the pork buns were also just ok, some of the pork was a bit overcooked and tough the chew. Not that anything was bad, I think that when you eat a lot of sushi.. the bar is set high. Overall, positive experience.

We came by for drinks before dinner. Drinks were very tasty but it looks like they are understaffed here. There's no easy way to see who has been checked in or not. Clearly a very popular place. We were there for half an hour and did not get greeted or checked in. I ended up asking the bartender if we can just order drinks and she was polite and attentive from that point. You can book reservations on OpenTable but it's not reliable because I could see openings for every 15 minute increment and for hours but standing there, you can see you won't be seated. If I came here for food, I may have given a lower rating given the system for getting seated was unclear and people were told to just wait when folks asked for an update.

Perfect all around! Spacious and ample seating for a Saturday lunch. Clean and the music volume was just right. Hand sanitizer at every table! Service was very good and they give you time and space you need. I was on time but others in my party were late and they were able to seat me right away. We ended up sitting for some time after eating and paying the bill and never felt pressure from the staff to leave. If you're a vegetarian, they have many options to choose from, ranging from vegetarian, avocado rolls, the mushroom streamed buns, vegetarian ramen and veggie fried rice. They also have ample vegetarian starters (caramelized Brussel sprouts) and appetizers. I had the veggie fried rice which was the perfect blend of rice and vegetables such as mushrooms, corn, spring onions etc. Plenty of drinks and beverages to select from as well. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back here!

This is my third visit for lunch and love the friendly staff which we know is part of any return to restaurants these days. The food is so cared for. What I love is that it is has lots of flavor. Try the Spicy Kimchi Ramen!!!!! Thank me later!

I wanted to love this place but The service was horrendous. I understand it's short staffed almost everywhere nowadays so I have patience for that. But it was almost like we were ignored the entire time. Came in to do Restaurant week but decided to just order off the menu which turned out to be a better deal. The drinks we got were on their happy hour (12pm-7pm daily). While delicious, it took them a while to figure out our order. My friend's drink came and 15 minutes went by and I still didn't have mine. Was near impossible to flag down the 1 waitress for the entire place. The buffalo cauliflower came without the dip. Which arrived on its own later... But they were delicious even without the dip. Short rib buns- yum. Rolls were okay. I've had better. For cheaper. Ironic cause you would think they'd excel at this since it's a sushi bar. Oh and rainbow tartar- forgettable. Skip. They're opening a new location and debating checking that out.. Hopefully they're better staffed. I'll go just for the drinks and cauliflower.

I enjoyed the cool vibe and creative rolls. I never had a peanut and avocado roll and it was delicious, crunchy and smooth.

Loved the food and ambiance here. Try the Bonito roll when you're here it became my new favorite.

I don't know why I stopped in... maybe cuz I needed a convenient ramen fix? It looked lively and I figured I'd give it a whirl since it was on my way home. Come for the drinks... and the Asian inspired bar food with the good drinks. But the food is as advertised Japanese-American with an emphasis on American - quite sweet, saucy, mayonnaise-y Drinks - 4 Service -4 Food - 3 Drink and nosh here and then grab a legit bite just a few blocks over in Chinatown or east village.

The service and the staff are extremely friendly. The food is excellent and comes out fast. We ordered both sushi and ramen. Both were great! The location is clean and conveniently located.
