Tucked away in Little Tokyo, Wolf & Crane is a lively bar with a killer Japanese whiskey selection, creative cocktails, and a chill vibe perfect for a night out.
"What started as a Little Tokyo neighborhood bar in 2013 has since evolved into a destination for worldly whiskey lovers. The growing interest in the Japanese whisky category motivated Wolf & Crane to develop its own whisky program. Now, it boasts the largest Japanese whisky collection in the U.S., with rarities like the Hibiki 30-year and Yamazaki 18-year Mizunara Cask. But those who prefer mixed drinks can partake of classics and house creations such as a mango sake spritz and Hong Kong milk tea-inspired clarified milk punch." - Caroline Pardilla
"With an extensive lineup of Japanese Whiskey, as well as a concisely curated list of craft beers and other select cocktails, Wolf & Crane is the perfect spot to meet a friend before dinner in Little Tokyo. Its modern wood interior and low-key lighting create an intimate atmosphere. Bartenders here are always friendly and knowledgable, and the clientele is mostly Little Tokyo and Arts District locals. On weekends, there's a DJ who sets the mood with old school hip hop." - Sandwich Video
"Wolf & Crane will celebrate 10 years in Los Angeles by hosting a party tonight. Park Hospitality (which also owns Donna’s, Bar Flores, and Lowboy in Echo Park) will start festivities at 3 p.m. with drink specials, bartending alumni, DJs, an ice luge, and a merch store showcasing anniversary glassware. Atlaco Taco will be on-site as well." - Mona Holmes
"Wolf and Crane is a fantastic neighborhood bar in Little Tokyo, and a fun place to dance any night of the week. The music is good, there’s always a crowd, and Happy Hour runs all night on Sundays. The Deal: $5 beers, house wine and well liquors. When: All night Sunday, weekdays 5-7pm" - brett keating
"A truly good bar speaks to our purist hearts: great music, solid drinks, and excellent service are what we crave. So when we discovered Wolf & Crane, which triple-checks all these boxes, we were amped. This drinks-only establishment (an anomaly in its food-driven Little Tokyo neighborhood) serves up an inventive cocktail list with a rare bent toward Japanese whisky. The staff is incredibly knowledgable about every bottle on the shelf (some holding very rare whiskies) and willing to explain the history and notes of each, sommelier-style, which makes a trip here even more enjoyable. Head here after ramen for a perfect nightcap. "
