Tucked away in Tokyo, this cozy, standing-only natural wine bar offers a rotating selection of delightful bottles in a charming, Tati-inspired atmosphere.

"There’s only room for about eight guests at Waltz, a standing-room-only wine bar in a GPS-confounding location about 10 minutes away from Ebisu station. You’ll know you’re in the right place once you slide open the glass door and see the Jaques Tati posters and bottles of natural wines, largely from France and Italy, chilling quietly in a corner. The bearded and bespectacled owner Yasuhiro Ooyama always has something interesting on his rotating list. He favors the Jura and Japanese wine but also has several bottles made by Japanese producers based in France." - Melinda Joe
Winestand Waltz was closed while we were in Tokyo but that’s another bar natural wine geeks love and I can’t wait to go to there.
