Lovely little hidden away gem in East Perth with exceptionally good coffee, which is just a short stroll from home for me. Today I also had the Croque Monsieur which was also delicious. The only personal let down for me is paper plates & cups when you are dining in. But it won’t deter me from going back. 🩷

Our tour guide on Oct 26th was nervous but informative about the history of the distillery, and the variety of products. We got a great run through of how grains, water and yeast become moonshine then something really tasty. He answered questions well. The cafe is good too.

What a treat it was to take part of the guided tour of the Whipper Snapper distillery. To be told the story of how this place was founded and developed through hard work and determination was amazing. In addition, the tour detailed the distilling process from moonshine to their best whiskys and of course the best bit, sampling the range they have to offer at the end. Highly recommended. There are Star Wars fans like me who work there too. Check out the Darth Vader handles. Brilliant.

Amazing experience at Whipper Snapper. I had a flight (flying aces, so chose my own 4) and my partner had a cocktail. All of the whiskies I had were very good. I had Red corn, wheat, rye and cask strength. All unique but in a very good way. Claudia was helping us and she was amazing; super informative and friendly. We tried the rum they make too and it was a great surprise. We came away with a bottle of cask strength whiskey and rum. They helped organize shipping back to the UK which was easy and painless. I can’t recommend this place enough. They also have a cafe for coffee and snacks, as well as beef jerky and a HUGE range of different spirits to try. If you’re in Perth, you have to go! Thank you to Claudia and everyone at Whipper Snapper.

Sad I couldn't do a same day tour but that is my fault. Instead just got to try their whiskey. Overall whisky was drinkable. Their standard stuff is ok but nothing to write home about. The quinoa whisky was really interesting. They do a lot of experiments with the grain and not the barrels I guess. The red corn was different and much better than their yellow corn. They won some awards and that drove the prices way up which is sad. Staff was ok. Not rude but not super helpful. Place to keep an eye on for their fun stuff.

My mate and I joined the Whipper Snapper cocktail making session and had a blast, I’ve been recommending to friends ever since. It would be great for a date night too. We were there 1.5 hours.

Great distillery specialising in American (Bourbon, Rye and Moonshine) style whiskey/spirits, and they also have a single malt. All of them were great, with a couple of award winning whiskies which lived up to expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were glad we visited.

We won 2 tickets for the Whipper Snapper tour and tasting. We called the morning we wanted to go on the tour and booked in. The tour was great. Our guide was informative and encouraged everyone to have a look or a smell of each part of the tour, it was super interesting. After the tour we had a couple of tastings. There are quite a few to try from - moonshine, aged moonshine or flavour infused moonshine. Their story is really interesting in my opinion and it was nice to support an upcoming local business. If you are looking for something different to do, give it a go... Especially if you are interested in / love whiskey, like me!!!

Such a great addition to the otherwise booooooring East Perth area. This place has recently opened and it is already becoming popular with locals & office workers alike. At the core they are a distillery producing whiskey & their own "moonshine" however at the front of the shop they have a coffee window, pumping out takeaway coffees and yummy looking cakes/muffins/slices. I stopped by this morning for a takeaway flat white (don't judge me on my boring coffee preference :P ) and it was lovely. Stong, creamy and the perfect temperature. Very happy to have this place so close to my work! Will have to return for some lunch time whiskey tastings :P

A secluded coffee/ distillery in east Perth. Great place to stop by on the way to work. Once I even persuaded my husband to try it out, and causing him to be late for work. He said it was worth it! My fav order being the croissant- buttery with the ham and cheese already rolled in, and not just 'added'. This sounds mad, but I like to grab a takeaway coffee and chat to the barristas. They are very friendly and informative, even at 7.30am! Unfortunately they don't serve a full breakfast or lunch menu. The distillery itself has 'moonshine' and other bits of merchandise for sale. Apparently the moonshine alcohol is an old uncle's recipe. Alistair; who co-owns the place had mentioned that Saturday tours are being operated but you have to book ahead. Would be nice to know what happens behind the scenes.

A beautiful distillery in a random part of town (if I had to describe it in a few words)! Attended an event here this evening and oh my - what a beautiful space! The main area is large and "romantically" lit, with beautiful fairy lights hanging from the ceiling. The atmosphere is very social and cheery, the staff very helpful and professional. Great drinks list - whichever champagne I did try (too excited to drink it to find out the name) was delish! Can't wait to pop by for coffee in the future.
