"The halal cart on the corner of Church and McDonald Avenues is one of the best in NYC, mostly because of the bright red, tandoori-style marinade used on the chicken, which is spicier than most (the lamb is also excellent). A chicken pita is only $5, making it the best value in the neighborhood for lunch or dinner. Ordered the large Lamb over rice and paid with credit card. Was $9 but was charged $10 without notice. I realized only after I left the area. If you are paying by card , CONFIRM BY ASKING “is it __ dollars”. Bad experience.

Absolutely delicious. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak. Usually I'm very picky about halal food with the rise in prices across the city, but they gave very generous portion sizes and the food tasted amazing. Will definitely order again.

This is my new favorite halal cart! I used to go to the halal guys but this cart the prices are super fair! the portion is very generous the taste is great and the guy that works there is really cool! Please give this cart a try you won’t be disappointed!
