The best artichokes ever - really! Great food and good service. A mix of tourists and locals (surprising for the location - would have expected only tourists). Very varied and complete menu, very nice wine menu, and great dessert.

If you stick to the tried and tested dishes you'd be ok. The spaghetti al Moro were perfect but the caprese was weird, I can make better one at home- I'm sure there are better tomatoes out there and more basil leaves. My husband had a broccoli which was tasty but the 3 scampi...! €56! Good god, it makes us really apreciate the seafood in Vancouver. Yes, tables are very close together so not the time to share intimate secrets 😂 we booked a 7:30pm spot so service was fast, we were out in probably less than an hour. Best to go as a larger group to share more dishes.

We were very lucky to have dinner at Trattoria Al Moro being one of the oldest and most authentic Trattoria in Rome. The food was excellent from the starters all the way to the desert. Highly recommend the spaghetti alla Moro, the carbonara and the spaghetti with truffles 👍🏼 I will surely revisit whenever I am next in Rome

Ordered a fried plate and there were three pieces, one was not properly plated and i couldn’t even eat it because the paper underneath were attached to it. I was actually shock to see the small portion for 7€ and they weren’t even good. Porcini pasta was quite good though (as it should). Service was attentive and the waiter was friendly for me. However, knowing the reputation of this place, the food and experience were disappointing to me.

Al Moro lives up to its reputation! I had the bucatini all’amatriciana, it was fantastic. Roman artichokes were delicious. The goal of al Moro is to make sure every customer leaves happy and satisfied. Everything on the menu is purposed for this goal. The waiters are all amazing characters. It’s quite a dining experience. Reservations are a must and please dress up a little bit. WORTH IT!

The pasta Al Moro was superb, the carciofi a la romana nothing that you can compare to, la amatricciana…It was my moms birthday, and we even sung “tanti auguri a te” thanks to the staff. Our local host helped us get reservations. Although this restaurant is near Trevi fountain. It was filled with locals. The food was outstanding! We had a variety of dishes including pasta, appetizers and meats . Service was outstanding as well!

Trattoria al Moro is a restaurant in Rome, Italy. We came late night on a Monday, and we were able to grab a table right away. Our table was in a back room, and they had to physically move the table away to let my wife get into her seat. All patrons are basically squished like sardines in a can at this restaurant. Our table was literally touching a side table that was used to serve desserts or grate cheese onto pasta dishes. [VEGETABLES] +Tomato and Mozzarella for €20,00 - The cheese felt rubbery and chewy. I have never had a bad caprese salad in my life until I came here. It felt like it was sitting out for a long time. - 2/5 [FIRST DISHES] +Tagliatelle with Seafood for €30,00 - This pasta was completely overcooked, mushy, and the seafood was extremely fishy. It felt like we would get sick eating this. - 1/5 The service was terrible. I had to pull out the table multiple times to let my wife use the restroom. Our food did not arrive for hours. The entire restaurant was waiting. I have not had one restaurant in all of Italy that did not cook their pasta al dente. This place is understaffed, and I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

I think the people who gave poor reviews may have missed the over-arching charm of this restaurant. It's old and legit, and they use really fresh, seasonal ingredients like truffles, artichokes and mini-strawberries in their prime. The decor may seem a little dated and the back tables are indeed close-- but that's the kind of restaurant it is- traditional and amazing true Italian food. I thought the wait staff was actually quite patient with the tourists, considering that it is also a spot for locals, and the tourists were finicky about their tables and speediness. We really enjoyed our experience. We weren't able to get a dinner reservation while in town, so we showed up for lunch right when they opened.

Wings Desserts 2 stars Mozzarella- just a big block of cheese Calamari- small and not very tasty. The waiter refused to let us put lemon on the bland dish

I revisited Al Moro with a friend because of fond memories of an incredible meal years ago. Unfortunately, the service and quality of food has changed. Our elderly waiter was very slow and forgetful. We got eye ball rolls and Italian comments, which embarrassed the Italians seated around us, from the waiter when my friend changed her mind from water with gas to still water. The truffle pasta was nothing like I remembered. I could have paid less than €35 and gotten better pasta almost anywhere. The wait forgot my wine. Our bill was incorrect (the €35 entree was left off the bill.) The produce is fresh and gorgeous. I was embarrassed that I had recommended this restaurant to my friend. I won't go back.

We were stuck in a room with barely any air conditioning and the food was really just meh - for the price you can probably find better elsewhere. It's over rated.

I'll begin by saying I was expecting much better from some of the reviews I read. The host and the first server I encountered when I entered the door gave me a sense of snobbishness so didn't exactly get the welcoming feel. My waiter was ok but I felt rushed and was basically coerced into trying the artichoke as an appetizer which he seemed to indicate was a Roman special. He also suggested their carbonara but I opted for the white truffle pasta. He asked if I wanted sparking or still water I told him sparkling would be fine. He brought over a big bottle of Pelegrino (I won't drink a whole bottle by myself) and I asked for red wine. He suggested the house and that was nothing special. When the artichoke arrived it looked presentable but when I tried it it lacked in flavor, barely seasoned. Not something I'd choose again. Would have been better served with a capresi salad which is probably what I would have chosen had I not been pressured to try the artichoke. Finally I get my pasta and was eager to try but first impression was disappointing. It was nothing but a small portion of pasta with truffle oil, nothing else. Very plain and a bit overcooked. With every bite I regretted choosing to eat at this place. To make matters worse the price for this barely dinner worthy meal cost me €65, which normally I don't mind paying this amount for dinner for 1 but to pay this much for basically 2 olive oil drizzled artichokes and a €35 plate of plain pasta with a little truffle fragrance is definitely not worth it. Was so disappointed I didn't even order dessert or expresso which is my usual follow up. Ended up getting gelato at Gelateria Romana near by instead and so glad I did. Paid €5 for 2 flavors (pistachio and Baccio) and it was delicious! This is not my first rodeo in Italy nor in Rome for that matter. I've been to several other restaurants that not only the pasta dishes were abundant but very flavorful and perfectly prepared and my bill was almost half what I paid in this place. Don't think I'll be returning. Very disappointing

Old school Italian spot that does it like no other. It came highly recommended and I could taste why, try their special carbonara . Make reservations in advance and be mindful of your stomach capacity because portions are very shareable

BEST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD. each course was delectable. the caprese salad was SO flavorful and the meatballs melted in my mouth. i cannot say enough good things about al moro!!!

On our last night in Roma, we had to finally try al Moro as my husband kept telling me he wants to eat here every single day we were here. It was only a block away from our apartment at Trevi, so we passed by daily. It was always full so that's a good sign. We hadn't realized how big this restaurant was as we had only noticed the outside portion. It's actually huge on the inside. We got the only table outside. Our waiter, Vincenzo was super nice, helpful and very attentive. We started with the house red wine which was delicious! We ordered... Artichokes Zucchini flowers filled with cheese Sauteed spinach with garlic Oxtale stew House pasta with truffles Espresso Strawberry cake The portions were huge and I couldn't finish the oxtail. If I come here again, I'll order everything but the oxtail as it was too much food. Unless I come with a Carnivore, then I'll order it. Best parts of the entire meal were the artichokes, zucchini flowers and the pasta with truffles. If you're in Roma and come to the Trevi fountain, you have to eat here. It's authentic Italian and amazingly delicious!

Al Moro is an amazing place! Staff is very friendly and helpful. All the food is incredible so if you're unsure what to order ask your waiter for assistance and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The wine list is extensive and written by hand! You will definitely need a reservation and probably well in advance.

Food was good. White ragout pasta was excellent. Spaghetti Pomadoro was ok. Lamb was very gamey much more so than you would see in America. Our guests from America had their purse stolen at the restaurant. When in Rome you are highly likely to be a victim of This sort of crime. Pick pockets and purse snatchers galore here. The restaurant waiter acted like it happens all the time. No cameras in this alley and we had dinner next to some new parliament members with bodyguards. They weren't watching our table unfortunately.

To start off with the things I did like - atmosphere and (sometimes) food. If you're looking for an "authentic" Italian experience this is probably it. I would say 90% of their patronage is actual Romans with the occasional few adventurous tourists (ie. Me). I'm a vegetarian and they had some good veggie options (and not just pasta). And I really enjoyed my meal and a dish they recommended. With the said my partner ordered a meat dish that wasn't vey appetizing. And we did feel a little out of sync with the patrons and the wait staff. We didn't feel particularly welcomed or wanted. We noticed a few other Italian parties come in after us who got fed way before we did.

I'd give it no stars if I could. We had a reservation for 2 at 10:30. They acted like we were bothering them arriving so late. If they didn't want to serve someone an hour before closing, they shouldn't have taken our reservation. Once seated, I realized, besides the space being cramped, the decor is old and dingy. I ordered my food and then the waiter walked away. I had to tell him to wait so my daughter could order. We didn't order bread, but they set a basket on the far side of the empty table next to us. When he brought my salad I asked if the bread was for us and he moved it closer. The bread was slightly stale. When I got the bill I found out the bread was extra. Maybe this is always the case in Italy because it was the case at the last restaurant we went to, but then why bring the bread if it wasn't ordered? When my main course came, which was shrimp, it smelled fishy, not fresh. My daughter's Fruta di Mar pasta dish was the same. When the bill came I was in for a shock because my shrimp dish was €39 instead of the €13 printed on the menu. There was a €39 shrimp dish on the menu, but that was not what I ordered/pointed at on the menu when I ordered. I feel like they ripped me off because they knew I didn't speak the language. If you want a delicious Italian meal go to La Taverna Dei Fori Imperiali near the Colosseum. Whatever you do, stay away from Al Moro.

The moment I walked in the hostess was SO RUDE about a minor change in our party. The service was terrible. We left cash for our waiter as a tip and he did not see it before we left, so he gave us an incredibly rude comment on our way out. I showed him the tip and he said to "remember the restaurant." We will not be returning ever again. Do not come here, the mediocre food is not worth the infuriating experience and disrespect.

Traditional Italian trattoria. Old school wait staff willing to offer suggestions and walk you through the extensive dinner menu and wine list--both are exceptional. Good place for a special occasion, as it is more expensive than many other places around. Wander over to the Trevi Fountain afterwards for a beautiful date night.

I don't know how anyone could think this was a tourist trap. Best meal I've had in Rome thus far. Each of us had an appetizer, main course, and dessert. I had the burrata as my appetizer and it was one of the creamiest burratas I've ever had. For my main dish I ordered off the specials menus and it was DIVINE. I had the fresh gnocchi in a butter sauce with black truffle. They come to the table and shave the black truffle onto your plate and they are not stingy with it. It was delicious. For desert I chose the chefs specialty, a baby strawberry cream cake the waiter described it as simple and delicious which is exactly what it was. We came for lunch, the ambience was perfect the waiter was attentitive and I would recommend going for an elegant meal. Very close to the Trevi Fountain but tucked away in an alley so no crazy through traffic. Definitely not a tourist teap

Got up and left before ordering. Took 15 minutes to even see the hostess, even though we had a reservation. Tried to order three times and waiter kept ignoring our efforts to get his attention. When we asked for wine list it was basically thrown on us as a stall tactic. Ambiance outside was about as bad as the service... After over an hour of sitting we got up and left.

TL;DR--THIS IS A TOURIST TRAP. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Service: *For starters, they opened late and had many customers waiting outside *We had a reservation, and they still made it seem like we were doing them some kind of huge disservice by being there with a group of five *Menu is very, very long, confusing to navigate, and exclusively in Italian (which is a total no-no in a touristy part of Rome!) Also, there's no way that with a menu this long, you are getting the freshest options. *Our waiter made it VERY clear that his purpose was to do the bare minimum. He tended to all of the other tables, and completely ignored us, even when our menus were closed and we were looking at him! He literally left and tended to another table while my dad was ordering! *Our waiter started bussing the table while people were still eating. For a supposedly nice place, this is not ok! Ambiance: *Loud. No music, lots of background noise, it was very hard to hold a conversation *They have beautiful cured meats, lots of cheeses, and fresh porcini mushrooms on display (key word, display) in the front of the restaurant, but the "fresh" mushrooms and "fresh" Fava beans that some party members ordered came out clearly from a jar. THE FOOD WAS NOT FRESH! *The place is dark and gaudy Overall: we trusted TripAdvisor's recommendation and made a huge mistake. It should have been a red flag that everyone in the restaurant was American. The prices were way too high and the quality and overall experience was extremely sub par. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. (I recommend Sofia, just a short walk away)

I really want to give Al Moro 5 stars because it was recommended by a friend who loves it. Unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. We had reservations at 7:30pm, but they didn't open the doors until 7:40pm. I'm glad we had a reservation because they turned away two parties immediately. The restaurant has a very pungent smell, likely the black truffles. The tables are very close together and small, so I hope the people sitting next to you showered and are interesting. We ordered the fried zucchini flowers and we each had one bite and I almost spit mine out. I had the smoked salmon appetizer and it was very average. We had fettuccine dishes for dinner and they were ok. The food highlight was the strawberry sorbet and the house strawberry cake. The service was good, but I don't think it made up for the food or the 150 Euros for two people.

This place has been around for almost 100 years and we found out why. We started with Italian wine, artichokes and fresh mozzarella that were terrific. We had to order another artichokes to go at the end. Then we tried one pasta with sea food and the other one with truffles. Two very different dishes and really good, but the truffles one was the best. We finish with limoncelo to end our meal and it wad worthy. Three most expensive meal in Rome so far by highly recommended.

Experience was just OK, food was really good, however if there's no price on the menu it is an absolute must to ask the waiter. We got three slices Of prosciutto and a Caprese salad and it was nearly $50. I've been to Italy 10 times and I've had the best prosciutto in all of Italy multiple times and it wasn't nearly the price of this restaurant, in fact not remotely close. the waiter argued with me telling me that he had the best prosciutto which leads me to believe that being American they will inflate the price as much as they can. Be prepared to pay NYC prices for just average food. Complete tourist trap

Made a reservation and was ushered into a back room filled with awkward tourists that all looked as if we had been trapped in the same net and wanted to break free. Food was average Italian fare priced 20% higher than comparable places. Not worth your time or money.

Very good! We asked for helped to translate the menu and the waiter only helped us with a few items and nothing too extravagant. However, we got the mushrooms and calamari as the starters and they were wonderful!! I had a truffled tortillini and my husband had a spicy, smoky pasta. All very good! The couple were were with wanted vegetables and they didn't really offer us anything else. We may have been a little under dressed for this place so I really didn't feel very welcomed. We felt more rushed. But there was an 'important person'/group of men that came in and the waiters were doing everything for them. Interesting...

This place is a right by the Trevi Fountain tucked away in a back alley which is perfect because you won't find tourists here. A priest and his party, Italian businessmen & other random locals were the clientele here. It's been around since the 20's! The waiters are quite prim and proper. To be honest not the friendliest guys in the world but they get the job done and they it well & efficiently. Some of the best pasta I've had & you can tell it was hand made and cut. The artichoke anti pasta was perfect! The gelato was my favorite dessert amongst the 3 we all shared. Be prepared to shell out some euros at this place but every euro cents is worth it!

I made reservations here a few weeks back in anticipation of our trip to Rome. I had read several articles where this restaurant was named as a must eat at. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and checked in with the hostess. She quoted 5 to 10 minutes. 25 minutes later I asked again, 5 more minutes. A number of parties walked out of the restaurant. But no one was seated. Finally, there was a table of 4 waiting as well, no reservation, they were seated. 45 minutes into past our reservation I inquired again. I was quoted 5 minutes... 60 minutes past reservation we walked away and enjoyed a lovely meal down the street. Don't take reservations if you won't honor them.

Spaghetti al Moro is the authentic Carbonara and it is the best!! Don't order anything else!! Service and people watching are entertaining ... but the food is the star! Don't miss this place!!!

This is our second time to Rome and our first visit to this restaurant. It came highly recommended by magazines and a tour guide. First, guys must wear pants and ladies be in something more than casual attire. Second, be prepared to sit in the back room as a few other reviewers noted. Third, the menu is in Italian so good luck. We had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. They sat us immediately in the back room. After a few minutes glancing at the menu, I asked our waiter what the gentlemen next to our table ordered as it looked delicious. The waiter said "I don't know" and never answered me. He was the other tables waiter so that was my first sign the dinner was going south. 6 of us ordered our food, a variety of pastas and two steaks, one filet and one strip with red sauce. I asked for a few glasses of wine and bread to start. Wine came late, bread never came. I had to ask for it once the meals arrived. All of the pastas were cooked as ordered. The filet was WAY undercooked. The strip was over cooked to well done and there wasn't red sauce on the dish. Throughout the meal the waiter seemed indifferent to us. Not very helpful or caring, not terrible either just average. Food was good but nothing special. After many meals pastas, steaks etc in Rome it's hard to find a bad meal and they are all tasting quite similar. They have to if they want to compete. I'd save some money and skip this one...

Had a great dining experience in Rome being reserved by my Concierge service for a party of 10 people by my AX. We had about 6/7 appetizers to share and none of them disappointed. Typical Classic Roman food run by husband and wife. Very successful restaurant!! I can certainly recommend it!!

Located very close to the Trevi Fountain, Al Moro is among Rome's most historic restaurants and ... with class and glamour, but with excellent food and wine selection. We took chance without reservation and we got it. We started with Rigatoni con la pajata and Spaghetti alla Moro and continued with Salmone del Pacifico and Baccalà al forno. You have to go!!

Our family greatly enjoyed two midday meals at Al Moro during our recent trip to Rome. The food is delightful. The menu for every course is pleasantly diverse, encompassing a variety ingredients and dishes, some of which are familiar to an American diner and some more specific to Rome. Dishes we especially enjoyed included: antipasti , Caprese Salad and Roman Style Artichokes; pasta dishes, a large Rigatoni like pasta with sausage and mushrooms and several red and white sauced spaghetti dishes; meat courses, mixed boiled meats, Roman style tripe and Roman style ox tails; and deserts, a shortcake covered with whipped cream and very many tiny strawberries. Each dish was a success, deliciously prepared with quality ingredients. We found the wait staff to be entertaining, thoughtful and professional. We enjoyed how the waiters made humor out of our cultural differences and filled in communication gaps with their own highly appropriate "recommendations." I was charmed at how one waiter made sure my wife's quietly expressed selections for antipasti were fully satisfied despite being "overruled" by a noisy opinionated table. The technical aspects of multi course service in this busy crowded restaurant were handled flawlessly. The restaurant location is nice, on a quiet side street but near the Trevi Fountain. Highly recommended!

I love this place. Make time for lunch or dinner after visiting the trevi fountain. amazing food and wine in traditional old school setting...the carbonara is amazing, but so is everything i have had there not good for large groups or screaming kids or casual tourists in shorts and fanny packs looking for pizza or spaghetti and meatballs...which makes it great for locals and seasoned travelers

I ate here with my friend, a discerning chef who has worked at some of the best restaurants in San Francisco and New York, and even she was blown away by the food. Who cares if it's touristy? You can't avoid tourists in this part of Rome. Might as well eat somewhere that knows how to feed them. Standouts from our meal were mostly from the appetizer menu: -The mozzarella. Tasted like it came straight from the water buffalo. -Steamed whole artichokes. Prepared in light olive oil, if memory serves, and tender as pudding. -Fried bites of zucchini, cauliflower, and other vegetables (I think this was called Fritti del Moro on the menu). Far more flavor than any fried food has a right to. Our mains were great, too, but you could easily get away with splitting a few antipastas, a main, and a bottle of wine, and you'd still have room for dessert (which we did not). Skip the overwhelming--and over-priced--wine list and get the house red. It's better than most.

I can't recommend this place enough! At first I was hesitant since it's so close to the Trevi Fountain and I feared it can be a tourist trap. But nope! Once I walked in there were tons of Italians in their blue suits talking and drinking away with their gorgeous plates of food in front of them. I ordered the Spaghetti Al Moro (carbonara) here and was blown away. I hadn't had the best food in Rome but when I tried this - tastebuds explosion! The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was rich. The service is wonderful. The waiters are all older Italian men who may not know too much English and their wine list is a giant book handwritten. These people appreciate good food and good wine. To this day, my friend and I still talk about it. We went 3 times while in Rome. Highly recommend. You won't regret it.

I ate here a few times while in Rome. The food is wonderful but DO NOT eat outside. I ate both inside and outside and they were entirely different experiences in both food and service. Inside is where the locals dine. The waiters recommend different dishes and different wine. Outside is all tourists and they treat it that way. The menu is slightly different and what lands on your table seems to be a little less special. Definitely try it. But wait for an inside table.

This is our favorite place in Rome! People might say they are stiff and stodgy in this place but they are wrong! Just act pleasantly and don't be a dick and they are wonderful! Even though it is near Trevi fountain, a major tourist attraction, don't for one minute assume that it is a tourist trip. Every night we have eaten there, there are locals there. You can tell (OK so we might have ease dropped on some conversations) that they will come back almost every night if they live within the area. The food is incredible! Our favorite dish is the carbonara Al Moro. It is above extraordinary! When you take your first bite, you think, this is no big deal. But then you take your second bite, and your third bite and all of a sudden your whole body is singing. Ugh, just writing this review makes me crave it so much! We go each and every time we are in Rome. I am going back with my husband in May and I can hardly contain myself with the joy my mouth and body will have on that day we eat there! We will most certainly ask for our favorite waiter, Vincenzo!

Walked in last night at around 7:40. They immediately asked if I had reservations. I did not. They still squeezed us in and told us we had one hour to sit. My mom and I were game. We were just happy they seated us. We ordered a bottle of wine and started with one of the specials of the night tomato octopus. The sauce complimented the octopus and wine very nice. The octopus was extremely soft and not chewy. Best octopus I have ever had. We also ordered the carbonara. The egg yolk and bacon were perfection. Also the best carbonara I have ever had. I had been eating fake carbonara the 18 days I had already been in Italy. I noticed they had white truffles on the menu. The waiter was kind of enough to let me smell them before hand and I have had my share of white truffles and just from the scent I knew I had to order. The white truffles were amazing, they melted in my mouth. For desert we ordered wild strawberries with whipped cream (the whipped cream is amazing) & chocolate covered in cream. The mixture of the two deserts were a nice combo. Over all my mom and I had an amazing dinner. One of my top three dinners here in Italy. Our waiter Andreas was super attentive and he did not rush us. If you are looking for real Italian food I highly suggest you dine at Al Moro. It's a 110 year old restaurant so they have everything down to a science.

Unfortunately Al Moro did not live up to the standards of a restaurant in a busy and nice area to eat. Slow service, not particularly good food and over-priced. Overall a disappointing expe

I don't know how this place does not have 5 stars! The best meal in Italy. Sit outside and people watch, order the carbonara- amazing!

We, three doctors, didn't even get a table, we were practically thrown out "we are full", which was a total lie. Maybe they just don't like tourists.

This place was amazing - We had a 1/2 liter of wine, meat plate, mozzarella, artichokes, spaghetti carbonara, and Mont blanc and everything was very good. Quite pricey but worth the experience. I felt like I got the true Italian experience, the interior was like it was from old Italy, and the servers look like they have worked there for a long time. Despite they know a little English they were still helpful in suggesting their specialty dishes.

Wish I could give this place no stars, one of the worst tourist traps of all time. Spent 24 euros on three of the smallest, most mediocre pieces of Vitello tonato that I have ever tasted in my life. The waiter kept pushing the "side of vegetables" on me, so I thought fine- only to see that I was charged 20 euros for a few asparaguses in the end! Seriously?! Those vegetables are not made of gold, so why the ridiculously crazy prices for something you can make a better version of at home? RUN, don't walk, FAR FAR away from this horrible tourist trap!

My 4 person family and I made a reservation at Al Moro a week in advance for 7:30. Not only was the restaurant closed at the time of our reservation, but 5 minutes later when they finally open the doors, there was no welcoming smile--no apologetic glance--from our soon-to-be server who promptly turned his back on us and walked into the restaurant without a word. I suppose this should have been the first sign in a long list of mishaps that the restaurant imposed. Next was the fact that the restaurant had no menus in English--not a terrible quality for a simple, quaint Italian restaurant farther from tourist spots. However Al Moro is no such thing, located a mere block from one of the most tourist-visited spots in Rome, the Trevi Fountain. Not only this, but the server did a poor job of explaining dishes to customers. For example, when we asked for an appetizer, he suggested a $35 dollar (a price that was not made apparent until the astronomical bill came at the end of the night) calamari dish all but consisting of rubber. The artichokes were horribly overdone, the broccoli mushy, and the zucchini had a distinctly fishy taste. (Here I will take the liberty to mention that all these appetizers were 2-3x an appropriate amount, and even more considering the unappetizing state of the so-called appetizers). Overall, this restaurant is nigh above the rather unbecoming side of Rome consisting of swindlers and the like, delivering a meal and service equal to much less than half the price of the final tab--at least $300. I wish I could give this place 0 stars because it deserves no more. Here I will clearly label it--hear ye hear ye-- a Tourist Trap.
