"This famed whitewashed bungalow has gone through many incarnations over the years, but the unobstructed views of Zuma Beach and good OG-Malibu vibes have stayed consistent. As the name suggests, the sunsets here are epic, so it makes sense that weeknight happy hour stretches till 9pm. Food-wise we suggest sticking to the bar menu in the lounge (ceviche, fish tacos, ribs, and three types of fries) rather than committing to a sit-down in the main dining room. Keep in mind that parking can be a pain on weekends. "

"For dinner, I hit up a great place, the Sunset Restaurant in Malibu. This is an amazing place. Such a vibe and ambiance, with your feet in the sand and the waves crashing. This restaurant has an order of fish tacos that are unlike any others. Normally with fish tacos, two come on the plate, and you’re like, “Okay I’m going to be hungry in 12 minutes.” But these? It feels like the whole fish is in the tacos. You might need two hands for these tacos."

One of the most unforgettable dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was fantastic, but what truly set this place apart was the incredible sunset view over the Malibu coastline. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky lit up with brilliant hues of orange, pink, and gold—absolutely magical. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, and the staff made us feel right at home. Perfect for a romantic evening or a special celebration. Highly recommend making a reservation around sunset—you won’t regret it!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The suRestaurant, and it was an experience worth remembering. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful nautical decor that made the perfect backdrop for a seafood feast. Service was attentive and friendly. Our server made excellent recommendations and ensured we felt well taken care of throughout the evening. Overall, sunset restaurant delivered on quality, atmosphere, and service. I’d highly recommend it to anyone craving well-prepared seafood in a relaxed, elegant setting. Will definitely be coming back.

This place is one of a kind, difficult these days to be as close as the beach as this restaurant. This beach is also secluded from the PCH and a good place to hand out after a good meal. Besides a great location, the menu offers a seafood and fish theme which is very fresh and with a decent price given the location. The wine menu is also pretty wide and had a few great options, especially in the white selection. They have a lot of seating with an outdoor area with feet in the sand.

Google
They served us even tho they didn’t really have to! We pulled up VERY close to closing time and asked if they’d sit 3 people and they said yes but we had to order in the next 5 minutes! This however did NOT affect the service we received, all the food that we ate! The drinks and food here are absolutely phenomenal! The service is very nice and polite and helpful! I’d honesty recommend anyone who goes to Malibu to try and eat here! I had THE BEST Moscow mule I have EVER had here!

Google
I brought my 1 year old puppy here after I called and asked them if I could bring my dog with me- I was assured that -yes. Once we got seated outside - another dog came in- and both dogs growled at each other. No one was bitten and no issues whatsoever - we were in fact waiting to order food - while a rude manger came out and requested that we leave - since some staff their was “afraid” of my 1 year old rescue sharpei mix . We had to leave and the manager didn’t even offer to reimburse for valet parking . Will never be coming back here - horrible service . However valet guys were super pleasant and apologized on behalf of the restaurant . Manager also refused to provide a card with his name . Very disappointing

Google
I’ve been coming here for over 10years. Let’s get into it. By far the best happy hour in all of Malibu. By far without question some of the best food in Malibu. And by far some of the best staff in Malibu. Upon walking in I’m always greeted immediately. Staff is always very accommodating. Place is very clean. Seating options are fantastic. Let’s get into the food! I’ve had basically everything on their menu since day one. The menu changes regularly which is GOOD. But they always keep their most sold items on the menu no matter what. Which proves again that this place knows their customers. Tuna tartar. Either you get it from happy hour or normal menu. You cannot go wrong with this. The tuna is fresh. Stacked up with seaweed salad and fried wantons. And a lime crème for display and zing. Absolutely delicious. Wagyu burger. Cooked to the way you’d like. Seasoned to perfection. Large burger. Fresh ingredients as well. Can’t go wrong. But one of my favorites. Wagyu pasta Bolognese. I’m not kidding you when I say this. It IS one of the best I’ve ever had. I HIGHLY recommend this dish if you enjoy a good meat bolognese. Pasta cooked PERFECTLY al dente. You will eat this and know you’ve found your next favorite pasta in Malibu. And maybe even all of LA county. Give it a try. And don’t forget to add some cheese! With that said I cannot stress enough. This place is absolutely amazing. There’s a large reason it’s been here for so long and why it’s well known across the community. Food: very above average. Decor: clean and beach vibe. Staff: amazing no issues ever. Cleanliness: always clean. Atmosphere: excellent. No issues. Bathrooms: clean. With that said. Definitely check it out. Enjoy the beach and the view. And the amazing food!

Yelp
I came here with my family after beach day, We ordered tuna tartar and grilled octopus for appetizer. For main course we got burger, black mussels, fish tacos and chicken sandwich. Octopus was cooked perfectly considering how hard that is. Black mussels sauce was so goood i could eat it with a spoon. Also burger, chicken sandwich and fish taco were amaizing too. We got sunset cocolada drink it was light, refreshing perfect for after beach. Service was on point, our server was i think Ted. He was very polite and fast. After reading some bad reviews we were little sceptical but our expirience was nothing but great.

Yelp
i Love thisss place, ten feet from the front door walking west you shoes or feet is and is in sand... Take a dip and then have a chuck oyster or two dozen and keep ordering drinks from my favorite beautiful colored eays bartenderrrr. Trust me u will not! Be disappointed...!

Yelp
My lovely wife and I are HUGE fans of The Sunset Restaurant in Malibu CA. We come from Oregon to visit family and while in SoCal this stop is a must. Wonderful selection of Lobster tacos, sea bass tacos or tres leches and much more. EVERYTHING on the menu is great! Our waitress Mimi is very attentive and Andre is the Best and most gracious manager EVER! Well worth the trip when dining at TSR in Malibu. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
It was as good as always but better Lol because this time this past weekend Saturday there was no wait and table were available like no other. The calm before the storm because I'm sure Sunday would be bananas. Ambiance was very soothing and calm I think I can add this to one of my favorite brash side places. We got the ceaser salad fries , fish sandwich and burger with fries. Parking is very crazy not this past Saturday , it was great no long lines and easy. Until next time guys , see you later.

Yelp
I was informed after we sat down at 12:30 for Brunch that there was no Brunch menu that it concluded at 12:00, when the website clearly says 3pm. The Mgr wanted nothing to do with my complaint and could care less about my reservations that was made 1 week in advance for Father's Day Brunch with my daughter. He was very rude and his only answer was he's been working there 12yrs and didn't really care that we came there for brunch. I've been going there for years and will NEVER go back to somewhere that was so RUDE and could care less about my complaint. On top of all that, the service was horrible, it took 10min to get a server and never brought the correct menu that we asked for, now I know why. We ordered a drink, which never came, so we decided to cancel the drink and left. On top of that, I paid 10.00 for valet parking and was there about 20min. What a horrible experience for one of my favorite places that I will never go back or recommend to anyone.

Susie R.

Yelp
4 stars instead of 5 just for high prices ($8 for a glad of orange juice). Service was good but not great as we were left needing service several times with bunches of empty tables near us. The house made chips that comes with the guacamole are fabulous.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
I may have moved but this spot, this way out in Malibu restaurant at the end of an ocean front drive will be a favorite until the end. I've had so many wonderful times here, great meals, fun experiences, lively bar encounters - sometimes mediocre service. The view in the open seating area is great. There is often a breeze. The upstairs is equally majestic and with height comes more shoreline. But it's a totally different vibe. Which is great! Because the outside too has a completely different aesthetic, feel, etc. I love outside too because they have those charming, French Riviera inspired umbrellas at the tables. It feels good. Thoughtful. If in the 'bu you'd be crazy to pass up a visit here. Also scope the black board in the bar for their latest cocktail specials. There is nowhere quite like Sunset restaurant.

Yelp
dined 5/11 (Mother's Day) I understand that it's busy on Mother's Day, but when 4 other parties bigger than ours get seated and cleared after we ORDER? That's actually insane. I was with my friend and we got our drinks and appetizers out pretty quick. I enjoyed the brussel sprouts and arancini (vegetarian). They came out warm and delicious. What wasn't great was waiting 1+ for our main entree. Within this time, I am witnessing our server sit, wait, and clear other tables. When our food comes out, part of it is cold. The staff was not very sympathetic and it took multiple times asking to speak to a manager. After talking to him a couple of times, he removed the two entrees from our check. The ambiance is nice, its a little loud inside but the view of the ocean is beautiful - that's its' saving grace. I'd love to give this place another try but for the price point, I really don't want to risk another bad experience.

Yelp
Amazing Food and Views -- But One Server Hurt the Experience (Gabriela) Let me start by saying the food was incredible and the view was absolutely stunning -- this place has everything it takes to be a 5-star spot. However, I'm giving 3 stars solely because of the service we received from our server, Gabriela. This was my first time here, and while the overall atmosphere was great, Gabriela's service left a lot to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being busy (there were multiple empty tables), it took 35 minutes to get our drinks after ordering, and she didn't check on us once during that time. When we politely brought it up and let her know we'd also been ready to order our food for a while, her response was defensive and off-putting -- which made the situation even more frustrating. To be clear, this review is not a reflection of the entire staff -- I can't speak for the other servers. But in our experience, Gabriela's attitude and lack of attentiveness seriously impacted what could've been a perfect night. I'd still recommend the restaurant for its food and ambiance, but I hope management takes note, because great service is a big part of why people return -- and unfortunately, that was missing in our case.

Yelp
right on the water so points for convenience when at point dume beach. got the wagyu burgers and they didn't taste all that great, meat was overcooked and had an aftertaste. enjoyed the burrata tho! the service was very friendly!

Sara G.

Yelp
Taco trio was delicious. Beautiful ambiance! Great service...not the front desk staff just the rest of the staff members in the restaurant including management. Tuna tartar was bland & can definitely use an aioli or sauce of some sort. The octopus wasnt chewy, it was perfect.

Joy K.

Yelp
Haiku Review **** Bummed burger was mid But fries smashed as did sunset Eileen you are cool (!)

Jeff F.

Yelp
Nice relaxing vibe in here. Right across the beach and the food was better than I was expecting. Drinks were good not the best, but service is really slow and never ask if you want something. You need to get someone's attention to order.

Cara M.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant on the roadside opposite the beach- perfect views of sunset over the water. Friendly service- helped us get a seat by the window so we could watch the sunset (necessary for a sunset lover like myself). Big spacious interior with plenty of seating and lots of windows for viewing the beach. Stunning views if you can catch the sunset with your meal. For food we shared: Clam Chowder, Hamachi sashimi, Linguini clams and fish tacos. The clam chowder was really good- full of flavor, creamy and lots of clam bits in it. The sashimi was a little bland and very thinly sliced- could have skipped on this. Linguini clams were great, nice flavor to the pasta and plenty of clams (our love of clams has no bounds) and the fish tacos were a good size- nice and saucy with a good crispy fish, the shell could have used a little toasting but overall pretty good. We were definitely pretty full after all of this. Nice relaxed environment- it wasnt too busy for a saturday so we took our time to enjoy the views as we ate our dinner- didn't feel rushed which was perfect for our evening.

Yelp
Amazing! The sunset was incredible and the service was amazing and the food was exquisite. Definitely a must visit for when you're in Malibu and you want a great meal and a great view!

Andrea B.

Yelp
The food was REALLY GOOD!! The table next to us ordered the signature Sunset Colada which looked like a dessert in itself!! I rarely drink anymore but I wish I could've just tried a sip of one. It looked delicious. My fish tacos were tasty and I loved the grilled fish and that it wasn't fried. My wife's Waygu burger was also wonderful. Fries were perfect too. The only issue was service was a bit slow and we didn't get napkins so when my wife went up to the hostess table which was right by our table to ask "Are there any napkins up here" the hostess said "no" and went back to talking to a coworker. She may have told our server because he soon passed by with them but her response to us left us a bit put out. Also parking lot is valet $10 and then lots of street parking down the street along the beach if you don't want to valet.

Nicole A.

Yelp
The Sunset Restaurant is truly one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. It's right on the beach and you can even sit outside. So far my favorite food on the menu is the clam chowder & seafood pasta. I enjoyed every single bite I took and can't wait to come back and enjoy another beautiful sunset lunch with my friends and family. The best place to go during summer!

Araceli G.

Yelp
Another great experience everyone is so nice and pleasant, food was great and the view well it's an experience for sure. thank you so much for making me feel right at home in this iconic place. love it and definately coming back with friends or just to get away from it all and have a peaceful meal by the beautiful ocean.

Yelp
We had great time and great food until we didn't and saw the cops and ended staying 2 days in the hospital getting two broken ribs and a fractured nose. Bartenders and their staff are so polite and had great customer service. Please beware of that black manager guy. He's going to call the cops for no reason if you raise your voice or laugh too much or joking and talking to other people .... I don't remember my whole story for that night but I saw the sheriff department behind us while my Girlfriend was trying to find us a Lyft. We Lyfted from 1.5hrs away to see this place because we saw the owners video. I grew up in Europe and have visited 20 countries and this place reminded me a lot Europe . It was so disappointing for $200 lunch, came 2hrs later after hiking point Dume, then spent more than $400 for dinner. My birthday was ruined here.

Crystal B.

Yelp
Stunning, amazing, simply the best. My favorite restaurant in all of LA. Must trys: the seafood linguine, the truffle French fries, and the mushroom risotto. GO. What are you waiting for?

Ethan Z.

Yelp
Great bungalow style restaurant with great beachy decor and dreamy sunset views on a good day. Their staff is always helpful and warm. We usually make reservations just in case their tables fill up although there is a lot of availability inside and outside. The menu has a great range of classic American and more special seafood options. Their poke, halibut and seafood appetizers are worth it!! The spot puts in great effort in their plate presentation and flavor their food pretty well. On my last visit i switched it up and tried their waygu burger and truffle fries. Delicious. They have a great happy hour deal for their well crafted cocktails. Honestly 2 drinks here will have me feeling a solid buzz. Worth it!! Price here is a bit higher, but given the views, ambiance, and ingredients i think it makes sense for a good value. My girl and I are slowly becoming regulars.

Sheryl H.

Yelp
I had the best time there. My plan was to get a seat by the window but we had to much fun talking to Elaine the bartender and the other regular Monday night crew that we stayed there and closed the restaurant. Anree took exceptional care of us even though the restaurant was packed. He is quite charming! Of course the sunset was amazing. More like breathtaking. But the good stole the show. We ordered the octopus which was the best I've ever had. Very tender and flavorful. Then the calamari. But my favorite was the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce with fries. OMG! It was tender and delicious. I highly recommend it. Especially since most high end restaurants are closed on Mondays. The only negative is the traffic is horrific. You can plan on it taking 45 minutes to an hour on PCH from Santa Monica. However I think it is worth it.

Brianna V.

Yelp
Seeking an enjoyable beach day, with delicious seafood, stunning sunset views and desserts you can't resist then the sunset restaurant is the place. Offering Yelp check in for one (FREE glass of La Terre Chardonnay or Cabinet.) which was so refreshing and just the right amount of serving. I recommend the Linguine seafood if you are a seafood lover. It's one of my ultimate favorites and hits the spot with an ended happy dance every time! Definitely explore the sunsets menu food and drinks as you will not be disappointed but leave happy and fulfilled.

Taryn A.

Yelp
Sooo yummy! Def loved the vibe and the food was delicious! Definitely get the tuna tartar and the beet salad! It was amazing ! we came with our kids and they loved the French fries, Mac n cheese, and chicken tenders. One of my favorites is the tacos! The fish and lobster ones are my favs.

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Great Christmas Eve tradition my husband and i have been coming here for 14 years engaged and this is our first year as a married couple . It started out pretty overcast and foggy but that lifted and the sun is out . Husband had the Salmon with spinach & mashed and i had the pumpkin tortellini with shrimp, blood marry & smokey sunset cocktails (husband is my DD) Dessert was cappuccinos and my favorite tres leches with pistachio . Merry Christmas Everyone!

Jackie X.

Yelp
Made a reservation for here on a Friday at 6 pm to celebrate a friend's promotion. It was chilly and windy outside so we were sat inside by the windows. It's actually a huge restaurant, larger than what I expected from the outside. The inside is very beach themed, with wooden features and cabana-style architecture and decor. It's a very cute restaurant that is good for both groups and a date. They do have valet parking but we were able to park on the side of the street not too far away. I have actually come to Point Dume many times and this street can be very packed when there's nice weather so plan accordingly. I decided to get the Pink Elephant drink, my boyfriend got the Mangolicious, and my friend got the Paloma Sunset. All drinks were strong but delicious. The Pink Elephant was the sweetest and personally my favorite. We weren't extremely hungry so my friends just got the clam chowder and a Caesar's salad while my boyfriend and I got the fritto misto (part of the specials) and the spicy ahi tuna tartare. The ahi tuna was delicious. I wish it came with more of the fried wonton crisps but all the ingredients were fresh and excellent. The fritto misto was delicious as well, lots of large shrimp and calamari but the thinly sliced zucchini was overcooked and tasted slightly bitter. I still ate it all. The lemon came in a cute little net to catch seeds and other lemon solids. For dessert the four of shared the pistachio tres leches and the tiramisu. Both were so good and bigger portions than expected! The tiramisu was sweeter and had 2 small crunchy wafers while the tres leches had lots of pistachio sprinkled on top. Both were soft and had great flavor. Would get either again. Overall an excellent experience and went above expectations for a restaurant with such a great location. Prices for drinks and dessert were lower than expected while food prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly and quick the entire time and the ambiance is perfect for a casual/fancier beach meal. Will definitely come again!

Laura M.

Yelp
Such a beautiful and romantic location! The food was exquisite, the service impeccable, amazing ambiance, pristinely clean restaurant and restrooms, gorgeous view, and despite it being a very busy night on Valentine's Day, the manager and owner were checking on everyone and making sure everything was top notch. We could not have asked for a better experience! We had the scallops to start, then sashimi and steak for our entrees. The food was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely lovely in every way. The steak was part of the Valentine's Day special menu so it even came with a complementary glass of Prosecco (yum) and we ordered a raspberry chocolate martini for dessert as well and it was divine! We will be back for sure! The manager Ron went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our evening and mentioned that they were just getting back on their feet after all the recent fires so be sure to visit these restaurants that are open again! You won't be sorry. We cannot wait to go back! Thanks for an amazing dinner, Sunset!!

Kat O.

Yelp
Nice quiet happy hour on a weekday. Service was decent. I tried the pasta and it was seasoned well but the meatball off the happy hour menu was bland and gray and dry. No seasoning at all. Tried to add salt and pepper but the shakers didn't really work. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Karen S.

Yelp
Recently stopped in two different evenings to watch March Madness basketball. Hung out on the couch in the bar area and happy hour was perfect. Great drinks...really good menu. The drive on Kanan Dume Road through the canyon was easy and PCH was not congested.

Maya S.

Yelp
Amazing food. Amazing service and amazing views. I'll be back. I highly recommend this for anyone new to the city who has visitors to take to an amazing spot or anyone who just wants to enjoy a nice dinner by the beach.

Sarah Michael N.

Yelp
If you want to sit across from the ocean with your feet still in the sand, order the fish tacos and a pina colada.

Sara B.

Yelp
Questionable seafood, but amazing views, drinks and service made up for all of it! As you can guess from the name, this is an incredible place to watch the sunset. It's just steps away from the beach and there are big panoramic windows that face the ocean. The perfect spot to grab a bite and a drink during happy hour! Unfortunately the food was not great. We ordered fish tacos that were covered in fish skin. This was really unappetizing, and I'd definitely avoid again at all costs. I hate sending food back, so luckily our server was super sweet and apologetic. We tried the calamari instead, but this was also just okay. Super rubery and not the freshest tasting. Lackluster food aside, this is a must visit for oceanfront drinks in Malibu during the golden hour.

Che M.

Yelp
Viewwwwssss! This place has the best sunset view in Malibu. We stopped by after a hike and all I can say is that my drink was hitting on 100! The appetizer weren't bad either. Cheers!

Ashley D.

Yelp
This was so delicious! It was a such a beautiful location, I got the seat looking out the window onto the beach. Our waiter was mean which kind of brought down the vibe and the table next to us was inches from ours, so that was uncomfortable. Note: My boyfriend has been here before and he said that it can be hit or miss.

Brooke B.

Yelp
The Sunset restaurant hosted my wedding reception, after the Palisades fire changed our plans with only four months to go. They were amazingly helpful and accommodating every step of the way, our server James was attentive and managed everything seamlessly. We have many memories here from date nights to birthdays and it is always a pleasure to dine here. It was such a beautiful view of the ocean with delicious food, the salmon and steak entrees were standouts. Atmosphere, food, drinks, service, all 10/10. We will be back very soon.

Michael L.

Yelp
Came here for a team event and loved it! Even though we were unlucky with the weather and got caught in a downpour, the food more than made up for it. We ordered calamari, raw seafood platters and I got the seafood linguine for my entree. Everything was super tasty and well cooked! One minor nit with the calamari is that the breading on the outside didn't seem that well attached, it fell off very easily and you had to be pretty careful with eating it lest it fall onto the table (and go to waste). Seafood linguine was an incredibly generous portion and I left feeling stuffed. Perfectly cooked seafood and noodles; the sauce was a little bit on the sweeter side due to them using sweeter tomatoes. I like my tomatoes and my tomato sauce a little more tangy but not a huge deal overall. Spice level was just right on the linguine and I could taste the red pepper flakes. The virgin Pina Colada was also very well made and easy to drink!

Betty H.

Yelp
My first time here and I won't be back. Do not order the chicken Zuma salad there's no chicken in it and was made of mostly beets and tomatoes. The burger was good but I I just can't get over their chicken salad and when we pointed it out to the manager he said "others have said the same thing about it". Anyways there was barely any chicken in the salad and sure was not worth $24. Let the pictures speak for itself.

Angie A.

Yelp
I really liked the burger it was really big portioned and the truffle fries were definitely worth it for less than $4. The ambiance was super cute and very good for a date spot. Service was good as well

Miranda W.

Yelp
Would definitely never come back here, not sure why anyone does. The staff seem annoyed by you, it's super loud, the food is so bland. Parking situation is pretty terrible, you pretty much have to pay for valet which is fine if they didn't have the most narrow parking lot ever with one entrance to come in and out of. My husband ordered the vanilla pancakes and they had zero flavor. I ordered the seafood linguine and it was also super bland. The seafood didn't taste bad but overall it was super underwhelming for the price. What a headache that lunch was!

Maggie Y.

Yelp
Service is EXTREMELY slow. We waited 45 mins to get our food after we ordered. Our server kept checking food for us and said the manager will come to give us an explanation on the slow service, the manager never came. Food is ok, just like any other touristy restaurants quality. If you want a restaurant that you can access beach easily, maybe you can consider here, otherwise save your money and go somewhere else. Parking is $10. If you want to leave your car there and go across the street to the beach, it's $60.

Nina E.

Yelp
I had a monthly girls day with my besties and it this was our first time trying this restaurant. We had the best time. Food and ambiance was exactly what we were looking for and our server Ted made our experience even better. All the food and cocktails he recommended were delightful and epic. We will be back!

Neleh H.

Yelp
We spent a morning climbing Point Dume- loved that there's parking here plus our friend recommended it. Sand covered patio outside was perfect to enjoy a sunny day. Light lunch & everything was delicious & fresh- manager stopped by was quite friendly. Waiter was super on top of things. Indoor decor also lovely & spacious. Restroom was clean- definitely worth repeat visit

Tina A.

Yelp
Just had a very good experience of my first time dining during the happy hour at Sunset Restaurant in Malibu! Well, the place was beautifully arranged since we walked in... cozy and inviting. It was happy hour so everything on the menu looked very well priced comparing to their regular selection. We went full classic and ordered everything around the menu with no disappointment in every bite. Really brought it back to the drink specials. Between the wine specials and well drinks, we all made it rain on affordable prices. A chilled glass of wine served sea side was pure bliss. And man, the view we had was amazing as fuck from observing into ocean. The view itself was almost surreal it felt like the sun set up a scene just for us The only small hiccup we found was the sofa seating became a bit warm after some time, but that very minor flaw against what an awesome experience it was. Great service -- our server was friendly and attentive, being there at the right time to check on us or make sure that we got all what we need. Again, the ambiance of this restuarant was relaxed but upscale and a great to wind down. Sunset Restaurant Malibu Verdict Definitely a place you want to visit for food that hits just the spot, lovely drink specials and great eye candy with service.Ideal way up near by sea front.DeserializeObject(es)

Yelp
You can't beat the relaxed atmosphere and beach view! They have indoor and outdoor seating and happy hour starts at 3! Full bar with exotic cocktails and a nice variety of happy hour food. I loved my eggplant parmigiana and my friends loved the homemade guacamole with chips, the tasty fish tacos and the meatballs! The server was especially helpful when I was charged for a ice tea I never got and he closed out the bill and redid it. Our party of 6 was also given separate checks, the servers went above and beyond!

Katrina C.

Yelp
From the ambiance to the food, friendliness of staff, etc, all of it was AMAZING!!! I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach - the salmon was cooked exactly how I like it, and the potatoes were ridiculously delish!

Yelp
Took some friends from out of town and made reservations way in advance. Asked to be seated with a view, which they didn't, but that's okay. Our waiter took our orders and we never saw him again. He had a really big party come in after us, but still... Food is okay - not bad, not great. Coffee was horrible. Mushroom omelette was good. The managers clearly are caring and walking around, and the valet are super nice. Overpriced though.

Yelp
*** FANTASTIC RESTAURANT AFTER BEAUTIFUL BEACH DAY *** I'm gonna say it... location, location, location! Before/After the beach... you can literally walk to this restaurant from the parking lot and have a "eat on the beach" kinda restaurant. I would like to think this place has 3 different vibes. The inside is classy, louder, exciting and day time brunch club ish, while the middle area is lounge, relaxed, bright and chill where you could be as casual as you like outside on the patio and truly sit down in a bathing suit and towel. We sat in the middle area where the sunny bright sky welcomed us. We were a party of 6 and we didn't have a rezzy on a Sunday, we were sat right away. The food was amazing! Especially the calamari and the fish tacos. Absolutely delicious cocktails... dirty martini, expresso martini and some beers... we knew we made the right decision coming here. The staff could have been a little more warm and friendly... it also took a bit of time for our cocktails and food to come but once they arrived, they were delectable. The ocean views are my favorite... we wanted to stay all day. There isn't a place quite like The Sunset... where you know you're going to get quality. This was a very pleasant experience overall. A magical view paired with decadent vibes while feeling the breeze and hearing the ocean. It's a 4 almost 5 star for sure. Can't wait to return and hoping I can turn this review into a perfect rating. Oh ya, if you check in on Yelp... you get a free glass of wine! That's fun! But only one per table.
