Came here for a surprise birthday. Bar was incredibly accommodating (definitely glad there were reservations made) with our large crowd and allowing us to store a sizeable cake.
Our server (didn't catch his name) was super easy going and entertaining, we loved him. He had recommendations at hand for people's mood. The bar has made a great use of their basement space. The bar backdrop opens to wise windows against brick wall that are lit up and feels like an open-air museum piece. The light fixtures hide in half opened pipes. Music choice was loungey. I am not a fan of their layout but the design is super nice.
The drinks are your classics and my partner swears there wasn't much alcohol in them, but she enjoyed sipping a few Penicillin drinks that soothe her raspy throat. She prefers strong drinks and this wasn't really her thing. The fruity cocktails were inventive and would recommend.
Beside drink, they serve up some small tapa style dishes. Definitely not Micheline star quality, they will suit your needs for the time being.
TIP: We had a sizeable crew of non-drinkers and the bartender made just as tasty and inventive mocktails.
