"ETA Group's latest project, The Royal Tot, is opening on January 21 at 933 Louise Avenue in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood. It is a two-story tropical oasis featuring over 100 types of rum and a menu with almost two dozen cocktails created by beverage director Larry Suggs. The food menu, crafted in partnership with Paper Plane Deli & Market, includes dishes like lomi lomi, coffee-rubbed pork shoulder with pineapple salsa, and champagne ice cream. I went here for a Latin dance event, and I would highly recommend it! It was on the roof area with a view of downtown Charlotte. When it started to sprinkle outside, we moved into the upstairs bar. It was a little more close-quarters in there with all the people, but still a lot of fun.

**No food here! ** This place is awesome! You gotta come by for the drink bartenders. Awesome. They have a great team here as well. You gotta check it out. They’ve got two bars one in the upper part of this establishment. Also, one in the lower they really have put in a lot into what it looks like, so the theme is great here See my video clip of the whole bar. !

The view is great, but I am a D. D. And do not drink alcohol at all. The mocktails are okay? But I am not sure what they are supposed to taste like, I would just prefer soda or juice instead of a mocktail. The decoration is nice, it is very cute. They do not serve food options, which makes it harder for me to purchase things (I do not drink, and that is all that they really serve), so it is hard to just be there unless there is a social. The view of the city is lovely though. It is just a bit cramped inside and outside is really bad when it rains or is cold out. It is a good spot for the summertime though!

This is a fun, novelty cocktail bar with a wide variety of tropical drink options. My favorite drink is the Treasure Chest. I highly recommend choosing a fun cup and sitting at the rooftop for some city views!

I LOVED this place! Found this place on Google and decided to try it out out. Free parking spot right in front of location. If there is no parking in front of the bar, there is a parking lot right across the street. We arrived around 2ish, and it was completely empty, but we did not mind at all. Our bartender Christian was amazing! Gave great recommendations and catered to our every need! Everything was beautifully decorated. I LOVED their halloween decor, and how every corner was decorted and not left out. Loved the whole ambiance of the place. I can see this place being full and packed, maybe during a weekday after hours and / or even on a weekend at night. There is plenty of seating to choose from inside and even bar seating. They do not sell food, so it may be best to get a bite to eat before or after visiting this location. They do have a rooftop with plenty of seating. I am definitely planning on coming here much more now that I have been and inviting friends over. Great hang out spot and not far from central Ave.

Very delicious drinks and all sorts of cups you can put the drinks in. Fish, pirates heads, poison bottles and cauldrons for Halloween. The patio upstairs has a great view of the charlotte skyline too. No food but you can have anything delivered.

I went here for the first time on Halloween as I’m a huge Halloween person and only recently found out about the Haunted Hideaway. I’m glad I caught it before it goes away this year. I’m so surprised to read about people taking issue with drink prices. I also recently moved up here from Orlando (tourist drink prices everywhere), but it’s understood that a novelty cocktail easily runs $15-$20. I wouldn’t say these drinks I tried were excessively strong, but they seemed like a standard pour. Reviews that mention sugar water are way off. Parking was easy and plentiful. The decor was awesome and I already asked the bartender if they’ll do the Haunted Hideaway again next year. I tried the Frankenstein, Ghost Boo’s, Poisoned Apple, Witches Brew, and Ghost Tot shot. My favorites were the Ghost Boo’s and Witches Brew. The ghost tot shot is identical to the Ghost Boo’s cocktail, just in shot form. What I liked most about them is the creamy coconut. Very refreshing! The Witches Brew blended Midori, triple sec, cranberry, and lemon and lime. A very fun bright green color! I also have to mention the Poisoned Apple! Perfect cocktail for fall. Caramel liqueur, apple schnapps, cranberry, and grenadine! I can’t wait to go back, even without a holiday overlay. I looked at the normal cocktail menu and saw they have dole whip, which is also huge for us Orlando people. ✨

Christmas pop-up bar the Saturday before Christmas has two bartenders working. It was pretty dead so we sat in a booth and waited didn’t get served so we moved to the bar and were also not served. Cute place but smelled like sticky bar floor. Drinks were $20 so this is not like some dive bar where you expect to jump over the bar to get a drink.
