The Lumiares Hotel & Spa

Very nice hotel. Staff have been excellent from checking in through to Housekeeping. Food and drink,service is also very good. Update after dining at another hotel ... The Lumiares offers a much more personalised experience. Should we be back in Lisbon, without a doubt, The Lumiares will be our hotel of choice. It offers everything anyone should require, along with much better value for money when compared to the other 5* hotel we experienced.

The Lumiares was the last stop on our Portugal adventure, after a week in both Lisbon and Sintra. We were blown away by our beautiful suite, overlooking the city and the sea beyond. Our room was the perfect combination of comfort and style and we were so delighted by all that the hotel had to offer. The rooftop bar and restaurant was the icing on the cake, where we enjoyed evening cocktails and a delicious morning breakfast alike. We will be back!

We had a 2-bedroom suite and it was perfect! The place was very updated and clean. The wooden interior shutters on the windows really helped with any street noise below. We did go to the restaurant, the view was pretty but while sitting you can't see as much as you thought.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at The Lumiares! From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to make my experience wonderful. They surprised us with a personalized honeymoon gift in our suite. They were so accessible on Whats App and usually took 5-10 minutes to respond...which was amazing! The location is super convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Max 15 minute walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on our honeymoon—highly recommended! Highlight: The hotel's service and the rooftop bar/breakfast. This was breathtaking and absolutely delicious More specifically: We want to thank Fabio, Jessica, Rafael, Catarina, & Maria for their amazing service!!

Starting with the name, Lumi Rooftop nailed it through and through! The decor, service, views and drinks were incredible! Our waitress - Amina was a total sweetheart and really made us feel amazing. Having been to 23 of the top 50 bars in the world, I highly recommend Lumi Rooftop for a sunset cocktail.

WONDERFUL hotel! Wish we could've stayed longer. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, friendly and helpful staff, nice spa (we only used the gym but it was well-equipped). LOVED our room! Big, 2 balconies, living room, fridge, oven and cooktop... and free wine! Great location near many bars and restaurants. Really good breakfast as well. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location. Very nice hotel. Front desk and cleaning all faultless. Lumi (rooftop) has a lovely view. The service is sketchy and it should have some tables reserved for hotel guests at all times. The standout wait staff are Guilherme and Ines.

I could not rate my time at Lumiares more highly. Such a great spot, such a fabulous building and such amazing service. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast at Lumi was a delight and they didn’t flinch when I asked to accommodate 11 people for drinks after a 50th birthday lunch. This area is so well located and lively at night. The room was spacious and it was great to have the lounge in addition to the bedroom. Thanks for a great stay!
