The Fitz Cafe & Rooftop

Came for lunch today, ordered the carbonara from the online app. Meal came, friendly staff and good looking food. Eating my meal it quickly became very oily and not very nice to eat. Ate outside on the street which was lovely in the shade. Service score given as limit human interaction. Also the menu pricing doesn’t match EatClubs, which is misleading.

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon (1530hrs). Easy to find a seat. The upper level is the Harmony Rooftop bar, and the lower level is a cafe. Lovely blueberry muffin & latte. Nice ambience, and super friendly staffs. Will surely revisit

I've never left a review for any restaurant before but felt compelled to set up an account to warn others before they spend their money here! My brother and I decided to visit The Fitz for the first time in search of a good pub feed, however we were left highly disappointed after ordering two $30 chicken Parmas that were beyond bland (and i'm no picky eater, especially with a chicken parma) The whole dish down to the salad was lacklustre. Visually it didn't look too bad, but the taste of the cheese was reminiscent of crappy Bega cheese you buy from Coles (wouldn't be surprised if it was) The chicken was a strange colour and totally flavourless and the salad although it had cucumber, tomato and carrot in it none of them tasted like anything and had no dressing at all, so very bland... On top of this the chips were completely oil soaked (some people like that, but we found them hard to eat without feeling ill) The portion size was the only plus about this meal, however I still wouldn't recommend this place to you unless you have the taste palate of a three year old child. You are better off saving your money or meandering down the street to any of the fantastic restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk where the food is actually good for the price!

Went there on a Saturday for their boozy brunch for the first time and certainly won’t be our last. This place is a perfect hangout spot for brunch and catching up with friends or family. They have indoor and outdoor seating and rooftop with a nice view. Their drinks were all lovely and the food was massive to be honest. The food were served fast and the staffs were all nice and attentively. We really love the vibes there, it was comfy and relaxing and boozy brunch although may appear slightly higher than the others but i feel that with the quality of food and drinks were worth it. lastly the place is very much accessible by train or by car.

Steak sandwhich, wonderful. The calamari was also great. Drinks came very very quickly. The only reason for the 2 stars is that their mushroom risotto was very bland and tasted strange, and one of their waitress’s customer service was shocking. We had to ask for Parmesan, salt and pepper which didn’t improve the risotto. When we asked the waitress for the salt and pepper she made it seem like it was a huge chore. On top of this, one of the waitresses in a pink top and sandy hair served us with a scowl on her face without a word, which made the meal pretty uncomfortable. We thanked her for clearing our table to which she ignored us. Don’t think I would come back for this reason alone. Thanks to the other staff and the great steak sandwhich.

Beautiful place to start your day with excellent coffee and breakfast. We are going there for years and when Melbourne weather allows you to sit in their outdoor area at the front of café it gives you a boost of energy and your day is set to start well Weekend mornings are the best!!! Jana &Boris

Had a great experience at the Fitz Cafe & Rooftop!! The staff were super lovely and helped us with the menu and offerings. The food was delicious and portion sizes were hugeeee! We had the bottomless brunch, the menu was extensive and the drinks were incredible!! 100% recommend this spot for your next brunch 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Such an incredible environment. Amazing food, great service and outstanding employees. Amelia went above and beyond with our service and made us all feel welcome. Thank you the Fitz I will be recommending to my friends!!
