The Crying Wolf in East Nashville is a moody, modern bar serving up hearty burgers and inventive cocktails, all within a cozy, artsy setting.
"The Crying Wolf, East Nashville by Perky Bros. Even moodier inside than its name implies, Crying Wolf is a sweet spot for night timing. Warm woods and cool cocktails liven up the vibe while the burgers and animal tots can sooth even the most vicious hunger pangs. Ample patio space beckons on warmer eves. Indoors, a photo booth spits out two-toned keepsakes for those willing to pay a few bills and say cheese. There, there, little Wolf. We love you—and everything you do."
"East Nashville’s bar, restaurant, and music venue the Crying Wolf is reopening for business at 5 p.m. on Friday, January 8 for the first time since the March tornadoes that devastated multiple dining and drinking establishments in Nashville. With the opening, there’s a new food and cocktail menu, featuring plenty of vegan options for burgers, plus vegan-specific seitan “chick’n” and waffles, BLT with Behive bacon, and Frito pie. Cocktails ($13 each) include an old fashioned with Nelson’s Greenbriar Whiskey and cinnamon syrup, the zingy Saint Theresa with green chile vodka, and a Last Word with Ford’s Gin. On the sweet side, snag some house churros, served with a seasonally rotating dipping sauce. There is an outdoor patio for dining, plus takeout available (call to order). The Crying Wolf will be open Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m." - Delia Jo Ramsey
