This place really took me to the Outback! The environment was so calm and peaceful during brunch. We got some shrimp tacos, the most delicious crepe of my life, and a chicken salad that was super delicious. I highly recommend trying out their coffee drinks too! I was very impressed by their mission too. I did not realize that the staff making the food were people that are trying to have a second chance at a better life and I think that's just beautiful. Definitely check them out and support their cause!

This place is so much more than a delicious restaurant!! The chef & owner, Barry, is such a kind, sincere, & loving man of God!!! He has poured his heart & soul into this ministry & again, the delicious food!! We had the fish tacos & fries!! These are like none I have EVER had!! There is so much flavor in the fish!! No breading!! So well seasoned, I can eat the fish all by itself!! The portion size is enough for 2 meals or 1 if you're really hungry! The baked fries were also really good. Barry came to our table & prayed for me, then my husband prayed for him! Please don't sleep on the special place!! Go here & be blessed & be a blessing!!!

My first time at The Cookery left me disappointed. From the moment I walked in they didn’t appear terribly busy, yet I stood at the counter for several minutes before someone bothered to take my order. The food was ok and arrived very quickly, but the portions were small for the price and they gave me plastic dishware and cutlery. They left the little avocado stems in my food which were hard as a rock (see picture). Someone sitting beside me had actual porcelain dishes and someone else beside me was given a glass of water when he sat down whereas I received nothing. Very inconsistent service. Nobody asked me how anything was or seemed to even care I was there. Love the mission and the vibe, but I wish that my experience was met with more engaging staff, quality food, and attention to detail that other people seemed to enjoy. Thank you!

Great little place close to the Belmont Campus. I especially love the shrimp tacos and the crepes. The service model and paying the check is a little confusing... but I've usually just gone to the counter to figure out the check.

Saw their unique menu online and decided to give it a try. We used DoorDash for delivery, and ordered an assortment of food (sausage roll, pancakes, Crepe Ape) and were not disappointed! The pancakes were huge and tasty. The sausage rolls were very good, though a bit greasy... but you don't order a sausage in a pastry to eat healthy now do you?! Tip: save some for the next day, the sausage rolls are even better warmed back up! The crepe was other-wordly! So good, but make sure you can nap afterwards :-) Where else can you eat like royalty while supporting a wonderful mission and people trying to make a difference in this crazy world? Thanks to the Cookery team for a wonderful breakfast/lunch! Next time we're in Nashville, it's on top of our list.

This is a wonderful breakfast and lunch spot with delicious food and portions that stop you from over eating. The staff was very friendly and every customer seemed to be smiling the whole time I was there. Definitely a place to check out for breakfast.

I've never been to Australia so I can only assume that this place is legit. Atmosphere is calm and inviting, friendly service and delicious food. What more do you need? The side salad is a generous portion of fresh veggies and house made dressing. The pulled pork is tender and boasts a slightly smoky flavor. Black pepper Kettle chips are the perfect side.

I love this place. The vibe was super chill and seemed like a great place to meet up with a friend or work on a laptop. The food was so delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. I wish this place all the success in the future
