The Christiansborg's Tower

Free to visit and there is even an elevator to take you almost to the top with minimal climbing needed, making this a great activity on a lazy day. The line does not move very fast though and be prepared to stand and wait for a long time.

It’s awesome that there’s a place where you can enjoy a view over the city for free. The only price you pay is a 30-40 minute long wait on the queue so decide for yourself. Personally, I think it’s something to do once but definitely not twice.

Great experience! Went thru a quick security check then to elevators and some stairs to the lookout. They had plaques marking all the things you could see in each direction. Very cool! And for free!

Staff was very nice and helpful a great free thing to do. amazing views! A bit of a queue to get to security, go through the lift. Small museum in the middle before you go up the stairs to the viewpoint

Christiansborg Palace was once the home of kings and queens, but after one of several great fires, the royal family moved to Amalienborg Palace in the late 1800s and never returned. The Tower was constructed as part of the third, and present-day, Christiansborg Palace, which was built during 1907-1928. Like the rest of the palace, it was designed by architect Thorvald Jørgensen. With a height of 106 metres, the tower on Christiansborg Palace is the highest in Copenhagen - 40 centimetres higher than the city hall tower.

Great place to get a higher view of the city. There’s usually a bit of a queue to get the elevator to the top, but it’s free, so i’d say it’s worth the wait.

This FREE experience is well worth it! We had a bit of a wait to get in, but you are in line, undercover, so it's not terrible. You go through a security check point and up 2 lifts and stairs. There are toilets you can use. The info booklet is very informative. The views were great, as were the signs at the rails showing where things were. Very accurate and awesome that it points to the things on the picture so you can identify them easier. It was VERY windy at the top. Well worth it! The statues and things are cool to see too.
