Pros: All vegan everything! Their baked goods are excellent. I have tried their cookies, pastries, the breakfast bomb, all kinds of stuff, and I have liked them all. Cons: Pricey (but worth it if you go occasionally) Their made to order cakes are expensive and not all that. Their breakfast sandwiches are a bit inconsistent. I’ve ordered the exact same sandwich twice and they tasted pretty different each time! Not sure what happened. Oh, and once I came like 15 minutes before closing, and there was hardly anything left, and no sandwiches were being made. That was annoying.

Their creative vegan pastries look intriguing on their feed, but as you can see in my reel, most of the pastries were gone when we arrived at noon LOL ＊ The Maple Foccacia Sandwich The sandwich was so thick that it was impossible to eat everything in one single bite. The focaccia was pillowy and topped with roasted rosemary. I was amazed that their focaccia wasn’t as greasy as the ones I got from other bakeries. The egg was fluffy and complemented well with the cheddar cheese and be-hive sausage. ＊ Fig and Prosciutto Croissant Sandwich The combination was great, but the croissant was stale and soggy. I read review raving about the flakiness of their croissants, so I didn’t know what happened to mine. It got messy when I tried to devour it as the prosciutto and fig jam kept slipping away. I liked that they spread scallion cream cheese on the croissant, which gave an extra savory layer to balance out the sweetness from the fig jam. ＊ Olive Oil Cake The cake was dense and moist with a hint of zesty citrus throughout. It had a subtle savouriness from the olive oil, served alongside with sliced orange and strawberry. I enjoyed this cake a lot, yet since this was the first olive oil cake I had in my life, I couldn’t compare how was it different from a non-vegan one.

What truly sets this vegan cafe apart from others I've been to is the unique offerings in their sandwiches and pastries. I got a Spam and Egg sandwich, a Prosciutto and Fig on a croissant, and the mexican and pineapple tarts to go. The sandwiches truly blew my mind, while the tarts were also incredibly good on their own. Topped off with a really good latte, this spread absolutely hit the spot for breakfast and lunch.

The portions were sooo small after being captured by the pictures on Instagram, but it was very delicious! Did not get to try enough but I would definitely recommend. The lady after me was offered free baked goods i over heard since it was about to close and apparently to be thrown out, which sucked cause I’m such a broke b and that French lady definitely seemed loaded!!! Before I left I bought a fruit danish, the employee suggested it.. it was okay.

My new favorite cafe EVER! Stunning array of ENTIRELY vegan pastries that will leave your mouth watering, super friendly staff, great coffee, and impeccable vibes. What more could you want from a coffee shop?

Terms of Endearment is amazing! The food was delicious, especially the Fig and Prosciutto and BEC dishes. The lemonades were perfect too! We tried the regular lemonade and the Lavender Lemonade. Highly recommend this place for tasty food and refreshing drinks.

I was so excited to be here for the first time, 100% vegan! From the outside, it doesn’t look so appealing, but once you get inside everything changes. Beautiful and big place, well decorated and very welcoming staff. There are so many options on display, all looking delicious and fresh. I ordered a croissant with “eggs” and “bacon”, as well as an Americano. Delish! Also, I had the cinammon roll which was way to sweet for my taste. Later in the day, I had the scone with chocolate chips which was divine.

Ok, seriously my most favorite vegan bakery or rather bakery right now!! Almost everything (besides their brownie) has been phenomenal!! Really love this place. After being here numerous times since that first visit, the pastries outdo themselves! I wish I could make croissants like this. You have to try!! ———————— Ok update to my initial review. Apparently they close early if they run out of everything. Also they said they've updated their weekend hours until 4pm now as of October 2021. The coffee and dessert was so yummy! And no extra charge for alt Mills because it's a vegan place, yay! Definely want to go back and have some of that good-smelling food. You'll like it, go try! ------- Unfortunately it was 2:30pm on a Saturday and they were closed. Not sure why or if hours have changed. Such a bummer, was looking forward to trying this place!

Soooooo sad they're closed now :-(((((((((!!! Their desserts were soooo good. Their staff was always so friendly!! The vibe was top notch. I am gonna miss it!

Upon walking in I was pleased by the amazing aromas and open kitchen. The display of baked goods were very appealing because I surely wanted one of everything. Also thank you to the lovely girl at the register who was full of good energy and steered me in the right direction. Standouts for me were... White Chocolate Cherry Pistachio cookies were amongst my favorites. Not too sweet and had a perfect chew. Olive Oil Cake surprised the hell out of me. She was moist AF, with a slight lemon finish. Must have! Wasn't the biggest fan of the... Pesto Chicken sandwich was honestly just mid. This sandwich is served cold and lacking all of that pesto flavor. I'll be back to try more things.

Ermagahd! I would never have know this was a vegan bakery. I'm not vegan, but having a vegan foodie buddy has expanded my horizons. I have tried some good (and not so good) vegan food, but Terms of Endearment was a mind blowing experience. We were so lucky that it was so close to our hotel so we went twice. We had a ton of places on our list to try, but this was truly worth a second visit. On our first morning, we split a BEC (bacon, egg, cheese, mixed greens and smear on a croissant). I seriously could not believe this sammy was all vegan. We also split a chocolate kouign amman. Kouign ammans are a particular fav item of mine. Not many places usually offer them. Term's version was light and flaky with the most luscious chocolate filling. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! On our second visit, we had the fig and prosciutto and the maple. I was bummed they didn't have the kouign amman, but our sammies more than made up for it. The restaurant was cute and quaint. Very IG worthy, but not in a pretentious way. Service was friendly and helpful. I will definitely dream of that unforgetable kouign amman. That has now become the standard I will compare all pastries to.

This restaurant is a must try if you're in the area. The warm staff, the fresh baked goods, the smells and aesthetics, everything was superb. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese, two pop tarts and two cookies to go and I was also pleased when I got home. I was visiting from Miami, so the I only ate the bacon, egg and cheese while in New York, which is why that's the only item pictured. I'll defiantly be returning because this establishment knows how to make sure vegans feel the love. Thank you so much for such a yummy experience.

Stopped by Terms of Endearment to get some studying done and left with a box of cookies Blown away by the all-vegan menu, there were so many delicious options to choose from and I'll definitely be back to try out their other breakfast options. I ordered the BEC croissant, and OMG. The croissant was so buttery and flaky and the "bacon" they use is so realistic. The sandwich is a bit messy to eat, but so worth it. I also go the lavender latte, didnt really taste the lavender, but the latte was strong and did the job. The staff who work here are very sweet. My only gripe is that they don't offer wifi, which was a bummer since I wanted to do some studying and ended up having to use a hotspot from my phone. Overall, the cafe has a very chill vibe and wasn't very busy. Will definitely go back to have breakfast or brunch, but might not be the study spot for me. Must try: BEC croissant, salted chocolate chip cookie Skip: peanut butter cookie, too dry and crumbly in my opinion The damage: $45, not a cheap place to eat. I ordered the BEC croissant, iced latte, and 4 cookies.

It's permanently closed. Of course we learned that only after a 15 block walk so that was a drag.

it is adorable in here!! i honestly just wanted to visit because of the name but i will def be coming back for their SAVORY PASTRIES!! the food: we got the olive oil cake and ham & cheese croissant, ask for it warmed up and the croissant was soooo good!! i also want to try the everything croissant and some of their sandwiches next time the drinks: americano was light and smooth ! yum the space: this is the best part - it's repurposed from an old bakery and filled with high ceilings and a frosting room :)

Was walking around Williamsburg and popped in for a quick bite. The store is much bigger than it looks from the outside and was decently busy for a Friday afternoon. I got a fruit danish and a breakfast bomb which is a must get. The breakfast bomb has a little spice to it and has a generous portion - I never leave without one! The fruit danish was good, nothing too crazy. I would come back and try the other things, but the 5 star is solely for the breakfast bomb.

Very cute place. The olive oil cake was worth the trip alone. The coffees are great. And, like everyone else seems to be saying, the BEC should not be missed. The ham and cheese croissants might get an eye roll from non-vegans, but they were big hit. I'd love to go back.

I LOVE Terms of Endearment so much. The pastries here are incredible and so are the sandwiches. Their special pastry this weekend was a s'mores croissant and it was everything you could ever dream of! Highly recommend.

I would've had no intention on coming here if it wasn't for my friend who heard about this spot because she's vegan. This is just too far for me but... In terms of food: Ordered- The BLT (ish) croissant sandwich I thought it was good. It was a good sandwich. I wasn't particularly blown away. But it was good. The croissant was so well made. That stood out for me. But otherwise, it was a kind of "I could make this at home" type. We came in on marathon sunday so it did get packed at one point around 11:30 but it came in waves. They have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating which is always good. I would've tried other sweets if I wasn't on a budget. I'd recommend if you wanna splurge on breakfast!

This place is amazing! The food is so out of this world! I wish we had one in LA!! The service is pretty awesome too. It's a small spot so there isn't a ton of seating but just enough to make it cute and cozy. I came on a Friday during lunch and it was moderately busy. Stopped by to get a little snack. I decided to get the almond croissant because she said they usually run it out and it was very flaky great flavor and delicious. Because it is a hot humid day decided to get the rosewater lemonade also great and refreshing. Probably the best vegan croissant I've ever had. The place was empty at 12 on a Friday and the staff was super helpful and nice I would highly recommend for any vegans or non-vegans who want delicious food!

Such a cute cafe and amazing food! Yes $16 for a breakfast sandwich is quite steep, but you can see they use pretty specialty vegan ingredients which get very expensive. The vegan bacon in the BEC isn't just tempeh bacon like you might get at other places, it's a specialty made processed faux meat bacon that was quite yummy and very reminiscent of a soft bacon. The fruit danish was not too sweet but a perfect balance of rich pastry and bright fresh fruit. I also loved the addition of the greens in the BEC, which help lighten the sandwich a little. The croissant is super flaky and amazing. Would definitely return to try more things! Staff is also super sweet. Note though there is no wifi.

Lex helped us out this morning with a great recommendation- the bacon egg and cheese croissant was SO perfect & entirely worth it. Cute interior, busy, friendly staff, and unbelievably vegan. The huge cinnamon roll also leveled out a perfect lunch for me & my partner. Heaven for the vegans and non-vegans. As a almost vegan I try to avoid dairy a lot and this place just hits home. The sandwiches are incredible, coffee is great and the pastries are just in another level. I wasn't a huge fan of the olive cake or pop tart but the chocolate croissant and fruit tart were bomb! Sandwiches are packing flavor and really creative. Overall it's really good! Most importantly they deliver plant based menu items! Staff is not the friendliest but who cares great food... Apple Pay Cash credit all taken. Ample seating very chill environment !

Best and most innovative vegan croissants (and croissants in general). Special homage to the weekend specials that change every week! I hold all croissants to this standard which sucks for other places because most croissants can't compare. Quality, flaky layers, cooked with enough butter to be moist and flaky, but not dry. And always fun fresh flavors to fit the season and mood. One thing is that there is a struggle with consistency. On occasion I'll come and the batch is slightly burnt/over baked which is bit of a letdown if I happen to bring friends on that day to try their infamous croissants. I always recommend going on weekends around 11am to try the specials. They are supposed to come out at 10am but I've come many times in the early morning and they're usually late, so 11am is a safe bet. Main reason to come on weekend is to try their weekend specials, and because even if you're not feeling the weekend special, you can always get the savory or sweet Danish, the Almond croissant or a plain croissant. But hey, then you've got options and a great line of backups! I'm probably one of the few people that don't care for the breakfast Bombs because it's just a bit dense for me. The cinnamon rolls look intimidating but are totally worth trying because instead of the bready rolls, they're like flaky croissants wrapped into a cinnamon bun. So it's light and flaky inside, and loaded with a lot of flavor. The plain one is def really really sweet with the icing, as are most cinnamon rolls. But the croissant texture inside is totally worth it. And again, I would recommend picking a weekend to try the special version so you've got something special in the filling to offset the icing. I got the s'more cinnamon roll and was kinda scared because I don't typically like s'mores. But I was there and decided to try it and wasn't disappointed. On the contrary I was pleasantly surprised with the flaky layers and the surprise fillings inside. Along with the cinnamon filling in each layer there was chocolate and marshmallows and just a lot of flavor. Sweet, yes. So I'd pick my chances when to try it and also share with a friend. But the croissants here are pretty high quality and worth trying. The savory Danish always has a really nice delicate crisp to it. If you're not into sweets, this is a great one to try. It's not too bready or heavy, it's pretty easy to enjoy. And again, always a fun weekend flavor.

As someone who typically doesn't go for vegan food, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The fruit danish was sweet and flaky, while the savory danish had a nice balance of flavors that left me wanting more!! The Bacon Egg Cheese was full of flavor and satisfied my breakfast sandwich cravings. The service was great too - ordering at the counter was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, the natural lighting and plant decor made for a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this vegan spot to anyone!! Vegan or not!

I walked in not knowing it was a vegan cafe and walked out still not knowing it was a vegan cafe. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant. It was amazing! Flakey and crispy on the outside, soft and buttery in the inside. Honestly, if I didn't read the other Yelp reviews, it easily could've fooled me. Can't wait to try the other pastries!

Best vegan bakery that ever was. Lovely staff, casual and cozy ambience, and the best vegan pastries I've ever tried. I've brought countless friends here over the years, both vegan and non-vegan, both of whom couldn't believe the menu was all-vegan. Nobody does it like Terms!

It missed the mark for me. I got the biscuits and gravy and it had a burnt taste I couldn't get past. The added side of just egg was good and helped save the dish. Speaking of dishes, they have neatly stacked plates doubling as decor in the back but my $16 biscuits and gravy came in a biodegradable carry out container even though I specified I'd be having my order to stay. The interior is very cute and there are fresh flowers at each table but this isn't your calm Sunday brunch spot. At least it wasn't at the time I arrived (around 10 am). It was loud between the staff (one in particular really) shouting out orders and announcing Grubhub and even singing over the music. That aside, I may return for a pastry but to go.

Run don't walk to Terms of Endearment. I took one bite of their lox croissant and let out an audible "oooh" - it's that good.

Food is great! Haven't been disappointed yet by the menu offerings. However, I am hugely disappointed by their use of plastics. I ate in the restaurant. There was no reason to bring my OJ in a plastic cup with a plastic straw, and no reason to bring my cappuccino in a take-out cup. It's shameful. Fix this TofE.

The breakfast bomb blew my mind, no pun intended. It was stuffed to the brim with tofu scramble and chorizo and the bun was just enough to compliment the filling. The cinnamon roll is unlike any vegan cinnamon roll I've ever had, perfectly fluffy with a crisp edge and tons of icing! Was worth the morning traffic to get there.

This place is amazing! A food blogger I follow shouted out this spot, and it is well worth the hype. My service experience was fantastic; the baristas were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Inside has more of a sophisticated aesthetic, while the little tables outside give off a more casual feel, but everything overall gives off that small business feel. I love the weekend specials, and from a business perspective, I think it's genius. Items lean a little pricey, but considering the neighborhood and quality, it's reasonable. What I Ordered: Matcha, Pear & Passionfruit Stuffed Croissant (special)- while the pear slices, powder, and cream toppings make it a messy eat, aesthetically, it's the prettiest croissant I've ever had. The flavors inside really shine through. The matcha isn't bitter at all, and the passionfruit added tartness to balance out the sweetness from the cream. Breakfast Bomb Croissant- perfectly flaky and crispy, like all of their croissants. The inside is a tofu scramble full of flavor and with a bit of a kick as expected. One bomb is enough to fill you up for breakfast. Rosewater Lemonade- very tart, the rose didn't add much, but on a hot summer day, it's the refreshing drink you crave. Also, the shop is close to Domino Park, so you can always grab food to go and eat by the water.

I had been hearing about this place from all the vegans I talked to in NYC, so I had to try it out. I didn't order any food, but the menu sounded great. I got a golden milk roll, which was something I'd never seen before and it was 10/10. My friend got the ham and cheese croissant, which was also delicious. What we didn't like was the coffee. We both got lattes, and while the flavor was there, they were watered down.

Terms has been on my mind for years. An acquaintance of mine worked there and had posted about it, so I followed them while I lived in Florida and eyed their beautiful daily croissant selection. I even had a dream about finally going there one night. Last month, I made it to Terms! I'll start by saying that there weren't many croissants available and I felt like the pastry selection wasn't necessarily reflecting what's on their Instagram feed. Nonetheless, there were great options -- I had a fruit-filled donut. I also ordered their rendition on a grilled cheese and the tomato soup that came with it, along with some matcha lemonade. The donut was good -- it was not great. I've had better vegan donuts (Valhalla in St. Pete, Donut Run in DC, Voodoo in Portland). The grilled cheese and tomato soup were good, I liked them a lot. They were not anything impressive, but I felt like the taste was nice. My matcha lemonade was also good. While Terms provides a diverse menu and beautiful baked goods, I don't think the quality of their food is actually on point, which is a shame because I considered this a must-visit and had literally *dreamed* about it for years. The service was also abysmally slow, and not in the COVID sense -- they were fully staffed but pretty indifferent. It was not crowded. There are so many great vegan spots in NYC that I have barely had a chance to explore -- if you're also vegan and visiting the area, I would go elsewhere.

Really, really great vegan breakfast. Went out of our way to stop here a second time it was so good. I had the garden omelette both visits, partner switched to garden omelette after having the BALT first visit (which she was not as enamored of). Ordered the house made sausage both times...it is by far the best vegetarian or vegan sausage we've had. Really wish it could be bought in our neck of woods. We also bought 'to-go' croissants, first time a ham & cheese, second a mushroom & spinach. Both were very good and greatly enjoyed later in the day.

Ordered via yelp for a pick up order- the lox sandwich was flavorful, flakey and full of contents inside. Lox was made of beet- normally I don't like the taste of beets but combined with the capers cream cheese and onion it all tasted well together. Have had other beet lox sandwiches where the beets were marinated to taste different but in this sandwich you are able to taste the beet. Will definitely be back to try more sandwiches and pastries! **cons: ordered via yelp and added extras which I was charged for but they weren't on the sandwich. After calling the staff said the extras didn't relay onto the order on their side and I was refunded... if ordering extras make sure it's included before you leave the restaurant

I've been traveling to NY frequently and this is probably one of my favorite brunch spots. The vegan sandwiches were so good. I tried three different ones and they were all top notch. My favorite was the sandwich with fig jam (yet it was savory) and the Hawaiian (vegan spam with vegan egg and aioli) The pastries are also delicious but some of them are HUGE so be sure to bring a friend along with so you can try a few without getting to full lol.

True story: yesterday, I ate a vegan cinnamon roll that's the size of a small dinner plate and I have no regrets. That it was the very BEST cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life, a life admittedly full of cinnamon rolls since they are one of my favorite things, is extraordinary. TOE is a little piece of plant-based heaven. Want something savory? There are luscious breakfast sandwiches. There's sophisticated sandwiches on baguettes that look like they are straight out of a bakery in Paris. And there are sweets. Oh my god, there are sweets. They had just put out a huge sheet of those beloved cinnamon rolls in time for my arrival. Before I could even do the right thing and order lunch before dessert, I asked for one. Let's now pretend that if I had followed my instincts then and there, I would have immediately ripped into this baby like a sweet-loving savage. I assure you, it would have been worth it. This baby is next level, with its consistency like that of a croissant, and each delicate layer of pastry, unbelievably buttery and full of cinnamon. And those the crunchy edges, loaded with frosting made me tear up a bit. I couldn't even believe what I was eating. I'm so used to those brioche types of cinnamon rolls, which I love, don't get me wrong, but TOE's version has ruined me for cinnamon rolls forever. I went into it with every intention of only eating half and saving half for later, did I mention that its huge? That intention went out the window with just one bite. What's this? I went straight for dessert? Truth be told, I first ate a B.A.L.T. on a croissant and I need to give it its moment because This. Is. Bliss. No, the bacon isn't tempeh bacon and I'm not mad at it. This bacon is thin and chewy and salty and is perfect with sliced avocado, lettuce tomato and that incredible aioli. The perfect sandwich. This place makes me so happy, I can't stand it. The ladies working here are likely angels straight out of heaven. Please, take all my money and give me those vegan baked goods in exchange. I'll be in a state of ecstasy for a lifetime.

Yes Yes Yes! Don't even hesitate, just go. It is sweets galore for anyone who loves bread and FRESH-BAKED DONUTS, COOKIES, or PIES. We were all visiting from out of town and my non-vegan friends did not know this was an ALL VEGAN RESTAURANT. They were confused on why I was eating "eggs". We all left FULL and VERY SATISFIED. Servers and cashiers were friendly and helpful. INDOOR SEATING AVAILABLE. PS: the cookies are very underrated

This is a long overdue review for our favorite Brooklyn stop. We make trips into NYC from an hour away (without traffic!) just for the bakery items. I follow their Instagram religiously at this point. I've never had anything that wasn't excellent from Terms - and everything is vegan!!! Their almond croissant is incredible. It's always sold out by the time I make it in, but the one time it wasn't, I died and went to heaven. Of all the special croissants we've tried (strawberry pistachio, hibiscus, sweet potato cranberry, PB&J) the carrot cake one has been my favorite. The croissant is light and flakey and buttery, and then the special fillings take them over the top. Their special rolls are also always delicious. Seriously, you can't go wrong with anything from behind the bakery counter. I'll definitely be trying their breakfast sandwiches soon!

One of my favorite vegan bakeries, hands down When I first went vegan, I missed those fluffy yet crispy, buttery and light croissants from a real high quality bakery. Those Whole Foods 4packs of vegan croissants were not cutting it. Then I discovered this place!!! It never fails to impress me and any friends I bring along. Sometimes I plan my days in Williamsburg around a visit here - it's that good! When you walk inside, you'll see a charming cafe vibe with a large glass case of fresh baked pastries. You can also order sandwiches and lunch items from their menu - but to be honest, their pastries are so good I've never gotten that far Everything is vegan, but you wouldn't necessarily know it since they don't post much signage. Recently I brought my friends who were visiting out of town. We tried the fruit tart (9/10), Ham & Cheese Croissant (10/10), and Spinach & Mushroom Roll (7/10). Enjoyed inside their lovely air-conditioned cafe space - both indoor & outdoor seating.

Have I found my favorite NY croissant?! Thus far, this is my favorite spot. Tried the croissant cinnamon roll and it was amazing. Lots of layers, a crispy outer layer, and soft center. Plenty of warm cinnamon filling and the perfect amount of icing on top. Ham and cheese croissant was also great! A bit messy because the croissant was so buttery and crispy on the edges, but the flavor was perfect. Will be returning to try more next time!

They were my favorite cafe but I live far away now. I got there two hours before closing and all of their specials were out. It's disappointing because I can so far away. I ordered a raspberry swirl bar. It was so gross I couldn't eat it. So I traveled over two hours for some thing gross. Their pride cookie was also gross in the middle. I can't travel to visit them anymore if the quality has gone down and their advertised specials aren't available.

This place is so good I don't get it everything is incredible, it's a little expensive but portions are so large you can split the sandwiches for sure!

I hadn't been here in a few years, actually since they opened this location; Terms of Endearment is another of Brad's ventures; he founded Champs Family Bakery--which became Champs Diner--well over ten years ago and has been giving us more reasons to be vegan in Brooklyn. Terms of Endearment's Instagram page makes it clear that if you aren't there, you're missing out--with lime-cream-filled croissants, opulent scones, Samoa brownies, and other decadent goodies. I went here on my most recent birthday and brought home a box of pastries--because why not? This is a little out of my way--a train ride over to Williamsburg, then a walk on Metropolitan Avenue--but always worth the trip. The cold-brew coffee pairs well with the pastries, and they don't charge to leave out the ice. This is a wonderful place to chillax with brunch, but be aware they have weird hours, and close around 4 PM, even on the weekends.

So the food is absolute Yummi The staff less then friendly, and gave us the stink eye when we asked to fill our reusable cup for coffee and asked to use plates and cutlery that are not single use that were available in the store with a big do not use sign next to them. It is disappointing that while we are so protective about covid we leave so much trash behind us on this planet, that covid wouldn't be our issue at all in the coming years I wish the owner that seems to care would hear my cry ....

***what a dream*** Terms of Endearment was a must visit in our nyc vegan eats list because of the unique and delicious offerings. While we oogled at the menu for a bit, we opted for items out of their case for our first visit. While the quiche looked delicious, I really wanted to try their breakfast bomb. We ordered one each person, but think that it certainly could have been shared. It was a lot larger than what I had expected, but very filling. Nonetheless, it was delicious and would certainly recommend. We also had the fruit danish, which was on the sweeter side, but the fruit was fresh and the pastry was perfect. hard to believe that the items we got were vegan as it was so similar to non-vegan varieties that we've had before. they got very busy at one point, and only had one barista taking orders/making drinks. it took nearly 25 minutes to get our drinks, which may not have been ok for someone that was needing to grab and go. i am sure they have their reasons, but there were no plates or cups for use, which was odd as it felt wasteful to take to go boxes when we were dining in. if you're vegan or plant-based, this establishment is a must try in nyc! the space is very cute and the eats are a great way to start off your day. will certainly be back!

The food here and vibe here is amazing. I've loved everything I've tried off the menu. There is seating but not very much so don't expect to be able to come here with a group unless you want to grab and go.

Closer to a 4.5, but still one of the best vegan spots around. Came here for brunch on Saturday around noon, had to wait like 5 min to get a table for 3. There is seating upstairs (but it can be a bit steamy/closed off). The space downstairs is very cozy. - BEC croissant (4.8/5). Damn this croissant is good. So fresh and fluffy. The bacon was a bit tougher than other ones I've had but I still liked it. Highly recommend getting this. - Breakfast biscuit (4.3/5): very tasty but tbh a tad bit on the dry side (hard to compare to biscuits at pies n thighs) - Corn Waffles (4.5/5): really well made waffles with fresh toppings like poached pear and pomegranates. Could have used some more of that coconut whipped cream, still high recommend. - Side potatoes (4/5): good staple but nothing to write home about. Heard good things about their lox sandwich too, I'll be sure to come back and check it out. Overall really nice addition from the Champs folks.

I came here and got an assortment of their pastries and I have to say that each and every pastries I got was excellent and delicious. Each one had their own personality and the one I like most and highly recommend is their monkey bread. Ooh it was so cute and full of that yummy buttery caramel cinnamon flavor that I love. As for their interior, it's cute and clean. Has a french like accent with the white tiles and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I didn't get to try their coffee but just by just the taste of their pastries, I can tell their beverages is probably at the same quality level as their sweet treats. I also like their lay back vibe and highly recommend this place to anyone that crave for a sweet treat.

There is such a variety of pastries offered at Terms of Endearment that what they lose in interior space they make up for in options. I like how they have a lot of items that I have not seen in other vegan cafes, while still keeping some of the classics. I definitely recommend coming here well before closing since there is usually slim pickings towards the end of the day and they tend to run out of items. I can't wait to come by early enough to try some items off their menu.

This place has heavenly sweets. I should preface this by saying I'm in no way a vegan and love and live for meat and sweets. However this place has pastries to die for. The chocolate croissant is amazing but the real star is the cinnamon roll. Dessert is what I'd like to say is my forte and The cinnamon roll here is amongst the best I've ever tasted. Bought two of them for my flight back to LA and even eating it tonight it was still delightful, soft and enjoyable with each and every bite. I can't recommend it enough. The rest of the desserts looked great too. Gotta try the pop tart sometime, but that cinnamon roll. I imagine that's what food nirvana feels like.

Holy cow this place was awesome. Definitely my favorite meal I had in New York. My friend picked up takeout from us so I didn't actually go the cafe personally, but I got the BEC and was so impressed. My boyfriend got the BLT and he loved it too. Whatever type of vegan bacon they use is fantastic, and the coffee was great. This place is an absolute must for vegans visiting NYC

I think this was the best croissant I've eaten in my life! A PB&J croissant! Wow mind blown. I'm not sure if they always have this one, but they had other ones that looked amazing as well. They had some seating available but I just took it to go. I'd go back to try more pastries!
