Serious credit card fraud earlier this month (December). 2 attempted expensive online jewelry purchases totaling almost $1,600. I left my card at the bar for about a week, as I was out of town and also don't have a car. Nothing warrants fraud. It must have been a new person or bar back (hopefully) with access to the card-holding cashe. I generally enjoy this bar otherwise. (I have a different name on my card. I left my card there from about December 8th through 15th.)

Great and cozy place the bartender was awesome. The place had a friendly crowd. If you are visiting Chicago and want a place to just relax and get some drinks with friends this is the place.

Very cool bar. Cozy bar with a chill atmosphere. Great drink deals and a handful of great beers to select from. The bartenders were both very friendly and welcoming. This bar definitely has a local pub feeling to it and it's awesome. They have a jukebox. There are a couple TV's. They have a dart board. The place is relatively small, but big on character. I would definitely recommend this bar to grab a few drinks with friends. Street parking available.

I live nearby and had been meaning to check out this place, finally got around to it after almost a year and it's a fantastic neighborhood spot! Friendly folks of all backgrounds who go out of the way to chat you up, reasonable drink prices, cute dogs, nice bartender...what more could you ask for? I'll be back soon!

Such a feel-good spot. Their dog-friendly bingo on Tuesdays would be reason enough to go, but add to that a warm atmosphere, sweet bartenders and regulars, good drink prices and the fact that you can order in food from other local establishments… templestowe was/is a cornerstone of our Chicago experience and we are so happy whenever we get to come back to town and visit. <3
