TASCHEN Store New York

This is such a special bookstore. Just like the other bookstore selling the book for creative people. All the books are very unique in certain field. I do love the way it display. But to be honest, it's not easy for me to pick a book in the store. Although I enjoy reading the interior design or architecture book, I still can't image if it is on my messy shelf at home. However, you still should take a look.

Absolutely loved the store. Right in the heart of Soho. Staff was super friendly and they had a great mural on the wall heading to their downstairs gallery. Highly recommend stopping in!

Very cool selection. You can find great books at a decent price range (many of the smaller ones are ~$20) and browse a bunch on display. The downstairs space is intimate and a nice addition to book browsing. The staff is also super.

Like the fashion stores nearby, it mostly carries what is "in season" - newer books, and the super expensive ones. Come here for amazing giant books, reproductions, and all the high end stuff (and a purchase that comes in a "Taschen" bag). If you're looking for a good Taschen book at a great price, go to the Strand a few blocks uptown from here. On the stairway between the first and second levels there is a Taschen section with more titles than this store has, and of course more affordable.

A feast for eyes. Taschen publishes high quality books to browse for hours, books mostly in full color and in great conditions, heavy genres of artistic nature. These books are good as presents, coffee table books, reference books and for inspiration.

Taschen stores, whether they are pop up stores in LA or NYC or established stores are all worth a visit. Unique and beautifully crafted products. Great art and photography now on display in the SOHO store. Well worth the visit ...

Great bookstore dedicated to books about arts, photography and their history. The space is very relaxing and it is easy to spend two hours just browsing.
