My girlfriend and I popped in just to see what the hype was about. We expected those common big prices and small portions. I gotta say we were pleasantly surprised! Yes it can be pricey per person ($15-ish), but they weren't shy with the portions. Their pre-set menu had a lot of options. On top of that, you can add or completely create your own bowl. My partner got a custom bowl (right) and I got the Hot Honey Chicken bowl which you can add more toppings on top (and it was free!). It was so good and very filling. We even switched bowls back and forth to try the variety. I was very surprised to say the least and I want to explore more of the menu. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something quick, healthy, organic, and filling!

Very disappointed with the portion size. You would expect the bowl to be at least half full for a $20 salad

I’ve been in NYC for a few days and this is the first place I’ve eaten at that serves good quality ingredients. I took the Shroomami salad and it’s really good. Portions are good too 👍

Thieves running this location, 9 tiny cubes for close to 20 dollars, we have to start complaining about these million dollar brands taking advantage of people.

Great food & service. Location is usually clean, sometimes tables not cleaned often. Bathroom usually dirty…regardless the salads I get are consistently yummy for me to come almost every day! The 4 star is a review for the sweetgreen app, I placed an order for delivery for a certain time , I contacted customer service and was told the only way for me to change my delivery time to asap instead of future time was to cancel the order and redo the order, there was a lag in the agent replying and then by the time I heard back from Fernando Villalobos customer service sweet green started to prepare my salad and I no longer could cancel it, and still had to wait 45 mins for it to be delivered, I asked if he could contact the location and ask them, he said no matter how minor the request is, nothing he could do . This should be improved & be consistent, because once before I had an agent help me and he contacted the location and made it work, what is the point of agent if they can’t escalate and remedy an issue?

5/5. Always a great and easy spot for a healthy lunch. They have cold and warm salads with many options for protein. My go-to is the Shroomami. They are very happy to accommodate substations - I usually get arugula instead of kale and quinoa instead of rice. The portion is generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is friendly and efficient. This location also has accessible washrooms.

I consider Sweetgreen in Soho to be one of the best Sweetgreens in NYC. Staff is very friendly, salad bowls are filled to the top, and it is a cozy place to have your lunch. Tried the Miso Glazed Salmon (protein plate), it was good but in my opinion does not compare to the always tasty Harvest Bowl.

Didnt even get to order, waited a long time in line with 0 acknowledgement, not even a hello or be with you in just a minute, 4 people were behind the counter and 3 were helping just one girl, and the fourth was pretending to look busy by brushing very few crumbs off the counter for the entirety of my wait. Employees here are more concerned with flirting than helping anyone else in the line.

Sweetgreens can be hit or miss...varies by location. But I've added this location to one of my go-to's. The atmosphere is clean and serene with modern minimalist decor. Friendly service. Fresh ingredients, thoughtfully prepared, tasty and perfect portion. The location is also on a quiet block, so a nice place to take a break.

Everytime i have gone to this location something has gone wrong. I love sweetgreen, I am unsure if its this location that I just have the darnest luck at. 1- one time they were so unsanitary saw them use the same utensils for raw chicken and the cooked foods. I was grossed out and left 2- no one was in there and they kept me waiting there while they kept tlking so i left after I said is anyone available to help me? I got attitude back. 3- finally went back because this is my neighborhood sweetgreen and yet again dressing spillage all over the bowl. Since they had the new bowls the dressing got all absorbed onto the bowl. I had no dressing to go with my salad and yall know how much that sucks!!! Smh sweetgreen do better!!!

Quick service with 5 tables inside, each for 1-2 people. Came here on a Saturday around noon and got my order after waiting in a 1-2 person line. Ordered a bowl and the chicken was very dry and hard - the most difficult to chew so far out of all the other locations I've been to. The portions they gave at this location were also significantly smaller than at others. The cold sweet potato was also extremely salty. For the ambiance, they had music playing softly and it was pretty quiet with a handful of other parties dining in.

My go to salad place when I am in the soho area. I like the autumn harvest bowl, maple glazed Brussels and chicken bowl and miso glazed salmon bowl. Will definitely try other salads when I am in the area.

The grumpy unhappy looking woman of color almost spits on my face because I asked her to pay with a different card and she almost hit me and was the only one who did not got offered bread. Please go to civilization school, lady and stop twisting things blaming it on customers just because you decide to treat people like trash. Get help and training, treating customers like that is not gonna raise your paychek.

The Brussels sprouts!! Get the Brussels sprouts!! I got them just as a side and they're so delicious I wish I had gotten more. I also got the guacamole chicken salad (I think that's what it was called). It was good, but I didn't realize the dressing was more on the liquid side as opposed to the creamy side. Still so good and refreshing but just so you know in case you have a preference. Good quick to go lunch :) and so fast!! The staff was also really friendly (and patient) with my indecisiveness in the beginning lol, thank you to them!

honestly took a while to get our food even though we preordered online. we got there and literally watched them take their time making our bowls. but, it was delicious and we loved our meals. their sauces are so yummy and loved how everything was customizable

Yummy! Had Sweetgreen for the 1st time during lunch and it was terrific and highly recommended. Ordered - Miso Glazed Salmon (5/5). Really tasty (and pretty healthy) - like I still remember each bite. The mix of avocado, cucumbers, pickled onions, crispy onions, and nori sesame seasoning made it a full-fledged meal. Give it a try the next time you're in NYC or in a big city.

Surprisingly came during a chill time. Nobody else was in here Sunday early morning afternoon and I was able to get in and out. First time at sweet green and their fresh flavors are an enjoyable salad. Quite a memorable one I will say, tasty and delicious, this was a fun meal. Shout out to the server too

This place gets busy, like any sweetgreen in the city, but the staff knows how to keep things moving efficiently! The ingredients are always super fresh and tasty. Good amount of seating options, though most people seem to do takeout. They always do the perfect amount of dressing for me! My favorite is the chicken pesto parm!

Serving sizes have been extremely weak recently on the plates at this location. Feels like the staff is always trying to shortchange you, particularly on any protein.

Love sweetgreen, but I think their quality has decreased over the years. I had them all the time a few years ago, then I stopped for a few years as I moved away, and I recently had them for the first time again when visiting home. It didn't have that va-va-voom that it used to have. I had the seasonal chicken chimichurri salad for lunch and the kale Caesar salad for dinner. The serving size of both were not reasonable for the prices you are paying, and they used to be enormous, so it feels like they've downsized. The CC had delicious, moist chicken, but it was lacking the chimichurri sauce, and the KC barely had any chicken to begin with. Overall, they both felt limp, whereas in the past, a sweetgreen salad had a certain zest to it. I will say that the employees are so nice and on top of everything. They keep the lines moving and maintain the place really well, too. And I loved the seating area inside, too.

Yummy! Ordered online for pick up. Kind of expensive for a salad, but so is everywhere in the city. We got the green goddess - flavors were great. Definitely more of a healthy "treat" and they make the salad so yummy. Potatoes were a nice side.

So good ! Best place to get a quick salad while on the go in Soho . Cheap , health and delicious . My new fave is kale Caesar with olives - just yum.

The salad and everything else is really good, fresh and tasty. Good concept but service could use some improvement. Unfortunately sometimes the staff can be borderline hostile. Too bad.

So good and so many good options. The harvest bowl had the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The service was nothing special but they weren't rude. The ambiance was good, we sat outside and it was perfect!

Need more team members. Orders come out super slow even if preordering. Need to order an hour in advance around lunch time. Current staff there nice, just need more.

Portions are ridiculous. You're paying for top quality and portions are inconsistent. If they gave you what you're paying g for, they would not lose customers

The whole place was extremely busy, so while their website said it would be ready at 1:45, it only came out 20 minutes later. On top of that, they forgot to put one of the items in my bag, so I had to walk all the way back to get it. They forgot the dressing on two out of the three bowls that were ordered, and each bowl was extremely expensive. Don't go here unless you love paying 20 dollars to chew on sawdust.

I love sweetgreen so I always end up giving them extra chances. I used to get them for lunch when I was in the office and it would be made fresh in front of me and 9 times out of 10 it was excellent. Since those days, I've been disappointed and this is just the latest example. Overall, the harvest bowl was pretty good, but they didn't include the dressings I ordered, and the ones they did include were about 1/4 full. Same with the almonds, which were mostly almond dust. I was excited about the buffalo cauliflower (I'm a vegetarian) but they serve it with caesar dressing (not vegetarian) rather than blue cheese (why?) and don't allow substitutions. Of course the hot sauce serving was also only 1/4 of the container. The cauliflower itself was covered with sort of an odd topping and was disappointing. I love you, sweetgreen, and I will probably continue giving you chances forever, but you need to bring back the Hummus Tahina and make sure your serving sizes are reasonable as long as you're charging $14 for a salad

At 15.00 a salad the salad should be very good. I felt like the person who made the salads I ordered had no care for the ingredients and literally threw them into the bowls as I watched him prepare the salads I had ordered. I have eaten here before but I think the quality has gone down and the price up. He asked if I wanted bread and threw in some old stale tiny broken pieces from the morning. It was evening. Not good.

TLDR: Satisfying and tasty salad bowls that leave you feeling healthy and Gucci I tried sweetgreen for the first time and i think it lived up to the hype! I got their harvest bowl which had a mix of kale, chicken, and other veggies - super tasty! Everything was really fresh and refreshing. They also have other cool options like the Naomi Osaka bowl, which looks amazing. Will have to try the next time I come!

Phenomenal quality and even better employees Lola has the best energy. Sweetgreen needs to make sure these employees are taken care of. Best location ever

Love the customer service here!!! The staff are so nice. One of them is amazing Not sure what her name is (she has amazing long eye lashes!!!) I'm very impressed because she remembered exactly my customized order the second time I came and my order is quite complicated! To sweetgreen manager: please give her a raise

Came here on a Thursday for lunch because I was craving sweetgreen. Some sweetgreens during lunch are INSANE, so I was scared that I would have to wait a bit. However, this one was quite tame and I waited perhaps 5 mins max. There was a line, but it was very short, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, this sweetgreen was not so generous with their ingredients and I felt as though my salad filled up half the bowl. Another thing I found strange was that they added the dressing in the beginning, after you choose your base. What I LOVE about sweetgreen is the flavor and the overall great ability to mix everything together. However, putting in the dressing first made my salad a bit less flavorful. Not sure if this is a new thing at sweetgreen or just this one. Overall I'm a big fan of sweetgreen and the stores are generally pretty consistent. This one was a bit lacking, but the ingredients were still fresh and I had a pleasant experience regardless.

Rudest staff I have EVER encountered. He put the wrong topping in my bowl and then I corrected him and he tried to pick it out with his fingers. Then the woman who rung me up gave me the biggest attitude. To top it off, my bowl was about 1/3 of the way full.

This place is always consistent. I got my go-to guacamole greens bowl and it was delicious. Staff is nice and accommodating. Great location and service is fast.

- Got the kale caesar - The portion was quite big - I really needed to charge my phone and they had charging ports all over (bless) - They have both inside and outside seating; great for warm weather - The section of seating that you see when you first walk in looks like a grandstand - If it's too packed, there's always the option of having your salad in the nearby park

Always a great experience here. Picked up my favorite Harvest Bowl and it was made perfectly. This location is my favorite. I drive past so many other locations just to come to Kenmare St!!

One of the more expensive salad bar options but definitely one of the best in terms of quality. They have so many different salads and warm bowl options. I haven't tried the whole menu but everything I've tried so far has been so good. My current favorite is the Curry Cauliflower salad bowl (seasonal). Other all time favorites are: Shroomami bowl (warm) and Guacamole Greens. Their ingredients look and taste super fresh. I never have to worry or doubt their quality. Their dressings and vinaigrettes are also very very good. For this location, they have a decent amount of seating but is always packed. I would suggest ordering earlier on the sweetgreen app and picking it up cause the lines are so bad during prime lunch time. I've waited over 30 minutes once; and let's be real, no one got time much less 30 minutes to waste especially not on their lunch hour. Totally a fan!

First time I've ever been. Never heard of them before. They have weird seating arrangements. Place was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. They use fresh organic ingredients for all of their food. I got the kale Caesar salad. It was delicious. Cost a little over $10 but large in size.

I was craving a salad badly. My aunt and I opted for sweetgreen. If we were going to have it, the Kenmare location was the only option for me. It's conveniently located between the LES and SoHo. I had the Curry Cauliflower and she made her own. This location was a must because i live ten minutes over the Williamsburg Bridge. The staff is always helpful and smiling. This is a PLUS because we stopped by minutes before closing last night. I know how annoying it can seem when ppl come in as you're trying to close, but i didnt feel uneasy at all. I also picked up the lentil salad for my mom. I chose sweetgreen because they make salads fun and vibrant. Boring salads were a thing of the past and sweetgreen is on the road to greatness!!! The quality is amazing, they have huge portions and my money went a LONG way!

Place is decent size but packs up during the lunch rush. The line snakes around but moves pretty quickly. I was in and out in maybe 10 minutes. You can see the fresh veggies behind the counter which makes you feel the food is fresh. I created my own salad, starts at 8.99 for 3 tops I believe. They were out of spinach when I went so I went with basil and kale mix with egg, avocado, and tomatoes. The food tasted fresh and I felt satisfied afterwards.

Sweetgreen is one of the best bowls that I've ever had! I love customizing my own bowls but they also have several already picked items on their menu as well. The price can get expensive, especially since each ingredient added is at an additional price but it is REALLY yummy. They also fill the bowl a lot so it's filling too! Definitely try it out if you don't mind spending a few extra dollars for a good salad/bowl.

Quick, healthy and cheap meal if you are on the go. Love that all the ingredients are fresh. I wanted to order the Guacamole Greens salad, but they didn't have any guacamole left for the day. Ultimately settled on the seasonal peach and goat cheese salad with an added protein.

After having Sweetgreens, I actually ENJOY eating salads! Sg is probably the only salad cafe I would care to go to in NYC and order a salad. This particular Sweetgreen location was the first Sg I've ever been to. I like this location because it is spacious and clean. There aren't too many seating but the common space is much more spacious than its other locations. You can make your own salad or choose from their menu. I like picking from their menu because they already curated the best salad bowl for you. They also have seasonal menu so if you go in the winter expect some quinoa warm bowl options. I've tried the Harvest Bowl from the Warm Bowl menu and the Kale Caesar and Guacamole Greens from the Salad menu. They were all great. I've always come past 7pm so the lines aren't too bad but I can imagine how crazy it gets around lunch time. Fortunately they have an online order option. If you order a drink try the Cucumber Ginger Lime Fresca! It's the only one I enjoy there.

Huge dead ladybug in my salad. This has happened twice at sweetgreen. Disgusting. Used to be my favorite place but will never be eating there again

Used to go to Tribeca location which was super clean and friendly vibe. This location on Kenmare consistently smells sweaty and has salad residue all over behind the counter. Makes it much less appetizing.

So the secret is to not come until like 1:30- 1:45 p.m. Once the lunch crowd is gone this place is so nice. If you are a pescatarian the steelhead is an excellent treat for lunch. All of the vegetables were fresh, the staff was working hard, and the tables were clean. The service was fast and friendly. Everyone had a smile on which is like a unicorn staff in NYC.

My go to salad spot in the neighborhood. Always very fresh ingredients and very filling. Ive never had any issues with my orders whether I do a pick up or dine-in. I always swap the regular chicken out for the blackened chicken.

Delicious food. Products are brought from local farmers. Vegan options. Kale salad is fresh. They also have fish tacos.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon for the latest David Chang tingly spicy sweet potato x kelp bowl - it's definitely worth a try, though $14.25 is on the hefty side for a salad. I really enjoyed the Japanese sweet potato yam chunks and the kelp isn't too slimey. The Parmesan crisps & seaweed come on the side to sprinkle! Overall, a lighter salad because the lime cashew dressing isn't heavy and Asian undertones. This location has a good amount of space to sit and enjoy or just grab and go.

I'm a huge fan of sweet green but this location is filthy. Employees are very kind but scratching their back with gloves on, wiping counter with a filthy rag near my food, and mask is off- I don't usually even care for masks the place is just gross. Won't be back but love sweet green

Sweetgreen is one of my favorite go-tos in the area for lunch when I want something light, fresh, and healthy. My favorite salad to order is the guacamole greens ($12.75) which comes with guacamole, roasted chicken, and a lime jalapeño vinaigrette. It's a nice treat to myself during a busy work week and I'm usually decently full after one salad. This location is always packed during the lunch rush from 12-2pm, so I try to go before 12 if I can. However, I've gone around 12:30-1 and haven't waited longer than 20 minutes. The line does move pretty quickly, so don't let the line intimidate you too much if you've got the time to wait for a salad. I don't usually order ahead of time, but I've noticed that the crowd for waiting to pick up orders is usually just as crazy, if not more crazy. Service is friendly and I commend the employees for managing the rush as well as they do.

Really awkward and uncomfortable service, servers act like they genuinely do not want to be there, very weird, won't be returning to this location.

The food was great but my online order was ready for me to pick up, 45 MINUTES AFTER my requested pick up time. So that really sucked. Especially since lunchtime during the weekday is very tight and I need things to be made and ready on time :( I know they were busy but it was really unfortunate.
