I've been getting facials and massages, monthly, for 10+ years in Asia and other parts of the world, as I am a seasoned traveler. I had saved up, and I was looking forward to being treated at one of the most recognized companies in South Korea and I cannot begin to explain how disappointed I was. For one, I was not welcomed warmly, the mood was very cold, and I never felt comfortable with anyone who assisted me at the front desk, during the procedure or at check-out. It was very obvious that the facialist/masseuse was not knowledgeable, did not understand muscle groups and was going through the motions of the facial and massage in a very robotic way, and as if she wanted it over with, and I never once felt relaxed. She was sick, sniffling, coughing and sneezing through the entire 3 hours I was with her, I felt bad she was in charge of taking care of someone else, when she was not prioritizing her own health. I wish I could get my money back. I would not recommend going here to any of my family or friends, there are so many new companies that truly value quality, as the market for beauty treatments is highly competitive, but this is not one of them. They are riding on their past reputation, but not living up to it at all.

Beautiful architecture which is why I booked an appointment. Stunning to see in person. Before the spa service, they offer tea before and during your appt. The foot massage was overpriced, but at flagship stores it’s not surprising.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Sulwhasoo Balance SPA Flagship Store in Seoul for their Heritage Ginseng Touch spa treatment, and it was an absolutely rejuvenating experience! The Heritage Ginseng Touch treatment not only left my skin feeling refreshed and revitalized but also invigorated my entire body. The power of ginseng truly shines through in this treatment, and it's a must-try for anyone looking to pamper themselves. The staff at the spa were not only welcoming and professional but also incredibly competent. They made me feel right at home and ensured that every aspect of my visit was perfect. The architecture of the spa is beautifully designed, creating a serene and calming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. And let's not forget the delicious welcoming tea, a delightful start to the journey. I can't recommend the Sulwhasoo Balance SPA Flagship Store enough. An impressive store with a wonderful and custom-designed space. A very friendly saleswoman who is well acquainted with the characteristics of the cosmetics she offers. Cosmetics are of high quality and very expensive. I enjoyed my visit there.

I really enjoyed the Signature Ginseng Treatment at the spa in Gangnam. All the ladies there were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were super relaxing spaces and I felt very well taken care of. The treatment itself was great, so much more than a facial! The 80 minutes included a leg scrub, a sound bath, a face massage, a head massage, a shoulder massage and a hand and arm massage. It all felt wonderful and the therapist used the exact right pressure. All the products smelled amazing and left my skin leaving clean and healthy. I would definitely recommend booking here as even though it is pricey, it is worth the money.

Wonderful first-time experience at the store. Love the architecture. The female staff who attended to us was very nice, accommodating and informative. She could advise me on the appropriate moisturiser I should use based on my age and country I live in (hot and humid). It did not feel like a hard-sell as she did not just immediately direct me to the most expensive products. I wish I had caught her name as I really did enjoy my visit. I was there on 28 January 2023 slightly earlier than 5pm I think, and left roughly around 5.30pm. I was there with my husband and we bought 4 boxes of the ginseng set.

Honestly, the spa here was amazing and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This really is a must-go, if you wish to experience something special. • Reservations must be made before visit. • although you can pick which care you will receive, I believe that you can make changes there. • industrial design made it hard for me to see where I had to go but it was just so beautiful you won’t complain about getting lost • I was really impressed with the set-up inside the room. The rooms are all connected actually but separated by curtains too. • after massage and facial care, I was directed to the make-up room, where I could use their make-up as much as I wished to. I think this was my favourite part as I could try all of their beauty products. • normally, we would then be directed to the tea room but because of covid, we were given tea and snacks in a take-out cup. • you can also buy their beauty products in other levels.

Luxury SPA and facial treatment center. Also got Gallery, exhibitions and Activities area. Visitors can join free tour which is listed under the services area in their web site. Both massage and facial treatment are good and if you buy their products, they give away samples very generously. It's better than buying at their counter in department stores which is always full of people. Also, there are special products, like scent candle, which are only available at flag ship store. VAT refund available for products. Tips: lots of nice shops on the nearby Rodeo Street. Worth visit both on one go.
