I ordered a print for a Christmas present, but due to Sotheran’s move, that had misplaced the item. Understandably, this wasn’t ideal but I got a refund, and was made aware very quickly. But, they came back to me at the end of Jan and said they had found it. They reserved the item just for me and waited for my response. A few days later I saw the email and asked to purchase the print. I did so, and it arrived a couple days later. Excellent quality and superb customer service. They now have a customer for life! Great shop and helpful employees. We went in just to browse out of curiosity after seeing the storefront, and came out with a watercolor print and a luggage label from the 1930s. It’s one of those places that has a variety of well displayed and researched treasures, something for everyone.
