"There is certainly no shortage of great coffee shops in Vancouver. As a recent addition to the Homer streetfront in the heart of Yaletown, Small Victory continues that proud tradition, but distinguishes itself from the riffraff with a spectacular assortment of baked goods. The desserts are out of this world and they are attracting quite a crowd at all times of day. The bright open space is designed by Campos Leckie, and features an art installation by Tinto Creative." - Becki Chan & Milos Begovic

Google
Absolutely love the new Small Victory location at Marinaside! The space is beautiful—bright, calm, and perfectly designed for a relaxed coffee or brunch by the water. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the avocado toast is always spot on. Great coffee, friendly staff, and the same quality I loved at their old Homer Street spot. So glad they’re back in Yaletown!

Google
Just relocated and opened to new location in Marinaside Crest, which is much brighter and spacious than Homer location (previous location) with beautiful Marina views. Like all branches, this coffee shop offer a good variety of pastries and breads and of course the coffees. Personally, I expected much better interior design and atmosphere based on the location but I am happy to have this new option in my neighborhood. The staff are very friendly. BTW, today was their first day at the new location! Way to go

Google
My least visited Small Victory would still be a 5*, quality consistent. I love this place, definitely one of my top 5 bakery and cafe in Vancouver. This is the only location that I haven’t rated on Google reviews. Just came here for a pastry - takeout this time. Got some croissant mixed with some assorted cookies. As you can see, you can also grab presentable pasty in a beautiful box with ribbon. Happy experience.

Google
In love with Small Victory's new location. The stylish interior matches perfectly with the Marinaside theme and the pastries and desserts were great as always. The chicken caesar sandwich is also the best in town!!

Google
Today we went to the opening day! It was super busy But totally worth it! We have breakfast there, chicken brioche, beef empanada (my favourite) almond croissant, pistachio and mango croissant (?) and two americanos ! I loved the empanada so much that I ordered one to go! Before leaving we had another 2 espresso We met the owner there and it was so nice to is, even he gave us a baguette ✨💗

Google
Went here twice on my visit to Vancouver because the pastries were too good. Tried the scone, mini donut (?), peach and apple pastries and they all hit the spot. Overall a friendly experience and would recommend if you’re in the area.

Google
Not impressed. My chocolate croissant was forgetable, mostly air, and hardly any chocolate. Seems like they are prioritizing making things look good for Instagram over making them taste great. Atmosphere is terrible and loud. Too bad, the old location was a favourite.

Kim N

Google
Used to be my fav for croissants, especially the almond croissant but feel like the quality isn't the same anymore. Plus it becomes so overpriced, not worth it anymore. The store is cute though.

Yelp
I ordered my first loaf of bread - honey bread. It was fantastic. The service was great. I will go back to try out more of there items soon

Yelp
I admit that I am a fan of Small Victory's croissants, but I don't believe Small Victory as a whole provides good value for what you're paying. The drinks here are on the smaller side, being only 8 oz for a small and 12 oz for a medium, though the prices are comparable to larger sized drinks nearby that are of similar quality. Aside from Small Victory's tiramisu latte, which is a specialty item, the drinks menu is honestly pretty standard. Moreover, one generally expects to pay extra for dairy substitutes, but $1.50 seems like an exorbitant amount for a *splash* of oat milk. I was quite shocked and even double checked each menu, none of which indicated this high surcharge. While there is both an indoor and outdoor seating area, space is limited and the entrance is particularly congested during peak hours. The service is average, and the queues for ordering/pickup can be quite long. If you're planning to work or study, then perhaps go somewhere quieter with more space and better value.

Yelp
I haven't been to either cafes but I ordered their new masala chickpea sandwich and croissant donut vanilla cream pastry. Both the items were really good! The sandwich was really flavourful and pretty reasonable for the portion. Their pastry was exactly what it sounds like, flaky on the outside and creamy on the inside. I would definitely order again from here and maybe even visit their cafe one day :) they have a good selection of brunch/lunch items.

Cole D.

Yelp
I got the morning bun and cinnamon roll. Both delectable and I highly recommend. The hot morning bun with sun-dried tomatoes and bits of cheese bites then transitioning over to a cool cinnamon bun are a nice pair. Friendly service. Nice inside. Bright windows. Reasonable ish prices for your fill. Would definitely go back if I'm here for work again.

Gabby A.

Yelp
Visited during lunch time on Tuesday and there wasn't a long line. Ordered a mocha and got a cookie. Loved both! Cookie has the right amount of moisture and softness. The interior is well lit and has natural lighting. So many options for a meal or pastries or coffee. In terms of seating even if it's a big location I think most of the space is used for baking and prepping. It feel like more of a place you drop by but don't spend long hours at. I'll try to get some work done here one day and see how that goes. Definitely a great coffee spot to visit if you're in the neighborhood. Get the cookie!!!

Yelp
Tucked away on Homer street is another location of Small Victories. A great option for light meals, sweet and savory grab and go. We visited early ish on Sunday and had no problem finding a table. Food case had plenty of fresh options, the kitchen was bustling with activity. This visit we only had coffee. One of my pet peeves is not being able to add my own cream or milk and there was no cocoa or cinnamon at the condiment station. That said, the coffee was very good and flavourful. Tables were clean and the counters and display cases were immaculate. Modern decor with an industrial vibe, seats were surprisingly comfortable. Definitely worth a visit

Oliver M.

Yelp
Small victory has great croissants and i like ordering it with the clotted cream and jam to top it all off. I also really like their panna cotta and I sometimes order their birthday cakes as well. If you're a fan of coffee, the lattes here are legit! They have a full coffee bar that makes everything fresh to order! Make sure you get there early on the weekend because their spots fill up fast.

Yelp
Been here twice and walked by a few times. The daily rotating tea and expresso stops me at their door every time! I like that they offer 3 kinds of expresso to choose from, its hard to pick one sometimes!! I also like that they offer the beans available for purchase if you really like it, and it allows you to read the packaging, see where its from, the tasting notes, etc. The first time I went, I got a black expresso to try and taste the "tasting notes" described. However, it was very bitter and sour. I asked for milk to be added to it. In my second visit, I selected the expresso (Bolivian Honey, which is supposed to have tasting notes of melon, vanilla and honey) for an oat milk latte. They have 2 cup sizes for the latte, with the smaller one being very tiny (6oz) and $6.04 after tax! I tried very hard to pick up the honey/melon/vanilla, but could not. However, it was extremely tasty and I would pick it up again. I also got a pear tart for dine in which was very tasty. They have a "reserved" sign on each table which is reserved for people who buy something. Each table also has a sign which asks you to leave after 1 hr. There is also free wifi and self-serve tap water.

Ashley M.

Yelp
I had heard good things about this cafe, but was honestly unimpressed. The pastries were okay, but in my group the cinnamon bun was way too sweet and the chicken roll was incredibly dry. Only the pan au chocolate was good. Coffee itself was fine. We got a pour over but it didn't have any unique flavors. Could've just been a regular drip if you ask me. Finally, don't expect to find a place to sit here. The place is crowded with not nearly enough spaces.

Disha G.

Yelp
Oh this beautiful coffee shop in Vancouver. I loved their coffee, they matcha puff and apple cinnamon puff and it was amazing. I had a mocha along. And I was in heaven. Ample seating space. Must go.

Yelp
I found this place a couple of years back on my semi yearly trip to Vancouver 2 years ago and I have beed coming back for more every time I come back. This is for sure my favorite coffee shop in Vancouver. I have been to a couple of their locations and the quality and taste is consistently great. The service is overall very good. Cool ambiance they could have more seatings but no reason to leave a bad review. My favorite is their Salted Caramel for coffee and pistachio donut for pastry. I have tried a-lot pf their sweets and savories and most were very good both from a taste and quality standpoint. Price point seems to be the biggest complaint about this place. I am from LA and I can tell you the prices here are fairly reasonable. 5 dollar Latte is not cheap but how much do you pay for a cup at Starbucks? I personally would not drink a Starbucks drink if they give it to me for free so I have not problem paying a bit more if any to have this versus the junk they give you at Starbucks both from a taste standpoint and quality. Similar drink and pastry in LA is 6 plus dollars and the pastry is 4-6 dollars. That is US Dollars. So to me this is a bargain. They also have great Cakes. 5 for Coffee 5 for Pastry and Cake 5 for Service 4 for Ambiance ( they could use more seating area)

Bo B.

Yelp
Smells so good in here with all their delicious baked goods. I was so tempted to buy the pistachio peanut butter but I had a feeling it wouldn't be able to come with me on the flight back. The matcha latte here is awesome. The avocado toast is quite delicious too.

Cin D.

Yelp
Omg ... just had the best cinnamon bun in my whole life. The service was good and the baked goods are delicious.

Mori N.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. On first impression, it looks hip, trendy and well....what's better than a bakery/coffee shop...right? Bakery/Coffee shop = bread, pastries and coffee....all three failed in this place. The service was great. They were friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. I ordered the Breakfast sandwich and the coconut cake and coffee. The coffee was so sour that it actually gave me a lemon face first thing in the morning and it was lukewarm. The breakfast croissant was burnt and very very oily and the egg inside was unseasoned and tasted like plastic (see pic.) I took it to the counter and the manager offered to replace it and it wasn't any better the second time and when I told her about it, she was very sorry and actually told me that they are pre-made....well it tasted like it ....not fresh. Disappointing in a bakery! I mean it's a bakery...you know....you bake...no?! The coconut cake was also not fresh and tasted refrigerated..... :( We left and went to Starbucks and had our coffee and croissant there. :|

Yelp
I was in the area and the scent of the baked goods just invited me in. It was fairly busy when I was there in the late morning. Almost all the tables were taken. I decided to just have a sandwich and almond croissant to go. The cakes on display were just so tempting. Next time. It took a while for the corned beef sandwich to be ready as it was made to order (I think). It came piping hot and was delicious. The almond croissant was equally good. Flaky and light. Definitely worth the short walk from the skytrain station.

Yelp
As a send off from Vancouver, I'm glad this was my last stop. Located in Yaletown, Small Victory Bakery is conveniently located by much of the downtown action and yet still possesses a very clean, distinctive aesthetic that isn't drowned out by the nose around it. The bakery case hosts an ample array of treats, big or small. I opted for the mini croissant bites - light, buttery, and delicately sweetened. My partner decided to go for these blondie-brownie desserts, which by his subjective account was the "right way to go." Either way, we left happy with the baked goods we received. And notably budget friendly, day-old goods are 40% off. Despite being a bakery in name, their coffee products were not a second-thought to the business. They have all the coffee shop staples and they do them well. The iced latte was a fine balance of the robust espresso, cool milk, and modest amount of syrup. The flavors they offered were pretty standard: Vanilla and Salted Caramel. Something I would love to see are more options on that front. They absolutely get points in my book for the salted caramel but a store like this with as much emphasis on craft as they have could do well with more variety and more daring flavor profiles for their drinks too. Overall, Small Victory was truly a win. I'm glad I had the opportunity to visit and dismayed that I only got the chance later in my trip. If I visit the area again, I can easily see myself venturing back.

Yelp
What's not to love? Delicious pastries, brioche doughnuts, and sandwiches. Good coffee and bread. Always a crowd, but the service is friendly and efficient, so the wait is never too long. Word of caution: they open late, for a bakery (8:00 am).

Yelp
Ok hands down or up as in scouts honour - I need to say this! Probably the best cheesecake in Vancouver right now!!! I kid you not! On a walk about this Saturday & I almost walked right by Small Victory Bakery but for some reason this time I went in - so glad I did! I have walked past SVB so many times & it's one of those spots you just miss out on if you're not looking carefully or curious enough to go into. It was very busy inside & I soon found out why. Now I only tried the Salted Caramel & Passion Fruit Cheesecakes & I was smitten!!! SVB had me at - Salted & Passion!!!!! Now I didn't find it too pricey either - some may find size portion an issue but to me - quality & taste run superior at SVB! I was in heaven with every single bite. I was intent on only having one cheesecake & saving one for later but between (children cover your eyes) my moaning out load - thank god no one was around - I just couldn't stop myself! However, both disappeared before my eyes in 3 minutes!!! Now I'm mad because I only got two! SVB does serve a limited breakfast & lunch menu. See you soon SVB!!!

Yelp
It was really busy when we arrived, so we almost left since there were no spots available. We stuck around for a bit to decide where else to go, but some people left and we were able to get their seats. They have a lot of options from meals, cakes, pastries, and drinks. I had the hojicha and shared the seasonal Danish and linzer cookie. The presentation of the items is very aesthetic with the wooden boards and coasters. The hojicha was good, except I thought it was a bit small for the price. The Danish was definitely my favourite. Even without the filling, the pastry itself was delicious. It wasn't overly sweet. The cookie looked pretty, but was just alright. I would probably stick to their pastries and breads. We also tried some cheesecake, which was pretty good. I didn't like the top part, which was too sweet for me. Overall, this is a great cafe to catch up with friends. There's lots of options and I'd probably come back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Relatively spacious cafe in Yaletown offering lots of baked goods including loaves of bread, plus breakfast and lunch. They are obviously operating at limited capacity right now but they have some outdoor seating off the sidewalk which is very nice. I applaud them for having an organized system for lining up and waiting for your order with physical distancing. Their prices are slightly pricey which is to be expected given the location but unlike similar places they actually give you decent portions. I had a Chickpea Sunflower Sandwich, Coconut Layer Cake, and Rooibos Chai Latte. I was drawn in by the sweets, but my sandwich ended up being the best part of my meal. It was a chickpea salad with a delicious dressing, I'm not sure exactly what it was but maybe red pepper-based? Slight sweetness and a slight bite, very flavourful. The seeded break was also nice and hearty. The sandwich was pretty big with lots of chickpea salad stuffed in, definitely worth the money. Coconut Cake also lived up to expectations. I really liked the crispy milk chocolate layer on the bottom and the coconut flavour was strong enough to stand up to the chocolate. The textural variety was nice. It's a sweet cake but the frosting layer is very thin and not too sweet itself so it balances out. Portion size was good here also; the thin cross section-style slice is deceiving in that it makes the slice look smaller than it is. Just like the food, the Rooibos Chai was lovely. The rooibos itself wasn't super strong but they didn't skimp on the spice which made for a nice drink. I like that they offer a slight twist on the usual chai latte.

Kristina H.

Yelp
The lemon, pistachio and cranberry shortbread cookies are so crazy good...you have to try them! The best cookie I have ever eaten!! Soooo lemony!! Excellent quality!!

Susan M.

Yelp
I was extremely disappointed with this bakery as I had preordered a good amount of baking. When I went to pick it up they had no record of it. so I had to scramble to find something else at the last minute. Their food might be good but their service is terrible and so is their attitude. Very disappointed !

Del A.

Yelp
I came here with a friend for a weekend brunch since I had heard great things about this place and really liked it! First things first, the location is stunning! A very bright and open space with lots of wood & marble décor - AKA an Instagrammer's dream. All of their pastries on display looked amazing and they had quite a big brunch menu for just being a café, but we both ordered the Breakfast Croissant with a cappuccino and a tea. There isn't very much seating in the restaurant, just a couple of 2-seater tables and then bar seating, but we were lucky enough to snag a table together. The drinks were ready at the bar and the brunch plates were delivered to us pretty quickly. The croissant was amazingly flaky and buttery (yum!) and the omelette filling was good too, but both of our croissants were slightly charred, which ruined the flavour a bit. Another downside was that there would be waves of people coming in at a time who wouldn't be able to grab a seat so they would have to stand around and wait for one which cluttered the middle path and made it a little uncomfortable to enjoy our brunch in peace. That being said, the baristas are all lovely and I like the vibe of this spot so I would definitely come back!

Megan K.

Yelp
Small Victory is the best little cafe in Yaletown. Super chill atmosphere, and friendly helpful staff. I can never leave without at least one flourless chocolate cookie in each pocket tastes like brownie heaven tbh.

Kira J.

Yelp
Love this little cafe. There is seating inside and outside. Be careful though, you come in for a coffee and always leave with a croissant in your hands. Super friendly staff and the coffee is amazing.

Hannah R.

Yelp
I stopped into Small Victory on a Saturday afternoon with a sweet tooth, and man did they deliver! I decided to go with the chocolate cake and it was rich! It was so chocolatly with the perfect amount of sweetness. I would not recommend this cake if you prefer more of a light and fluffy cake. (because this was DENSE) I'd say the texture was close to a brownie! My friend had got the almond croissant which she very much enjoyed. Overall Small Victory is perfect for a little treat!

Leslie C.

Yelp
I heard this place got killer croissant and oat milk latte but we showed up at 3pm on a Monday and it's closed... next time perhaps :( I'll be back!!

Selina C.

Yelp
If you love fresh baked yummy gooey croissants then this is the place to go to! 2 locations and both are super jam packed busy! * Almond croissant ($4.95 - don't exactly remember the prices I was way to overwhelmed by all the goodies). The almond croissant is amazing. Flaky, soft, buttery, and perfect. I fell in love. Not only does it smell good it tastes even better. I love the almond centre, super delicious and I honestly wish I bought more than 1. Ive been craving this since I've had it and I can't wait to go back! 10/10 - love the flakiness of the croissant, and the almond filling. It was so good and such a perfect item to start off the day! * The ham and cheese croissant want super crunchy, flakey, and mouthwatering as well. ($4.95 - again too engulfed in the food but the price was around this as our entire bill was about $22) the ham and cheese was perfect ratio because it was very flavourful, and it definitely didn't lack filling! 8/10 - I loved the cheese and crunchiness of the croissant! But it was a bit oily for me. * 9/10 - definitely recommend coming here for their almond croissant! If you love sweet croissants then that's the one! * 10/10 - the price isn't bad still under $5, and the quality of them is super good I recommend! They also have brunch here so I can't wait to try it out one day! * Would I come back?

Mon T.

Yelp
The avocado toast was very good. Creamy avo with no chunks, pistachio added the toasty and nuttiness. Feta cheese crumble gave the saltiness to the toast, and the honey drizzle added sweetness and depth to the whole avocado toast. There's a lot of flavor in that bite of toast. Nicely toasted seeded whole wheat bread has a good texture. It has a crunch but not too seedy that is overly chewy. Latte is average, nothing to boast, wish it's a little hotter though.

Anna K.

Yelp
Great place to grab a coffee in Yaletown! Lattes and matchas are great, breakfast croissants also not bad. Ambiance and service is nice.

Annie M.

Yelp
This is one of the best coffee and bakery shop in town! Life is short, forget about cheap crappy donuts and watery coffee! Small victory severed better coffee and siphon coffee! They are always busy and line up to get your order. I would say, totally worth it if you have time. Overall, the croissants and savory pastries are great. Awesome Mont Blanc! Cheesecake and other desserts are pretty sweet. If you have sweet teeth, you would love it. Pop by to get goodies but don't get addicted

Yongun S.

Yelp
Came by in the morning and picked up an almond croissant. I'm sure if if was still warm it'd be even better but it was still an excellent pastry. The key point was what I assume is almond cream on the inner layer. It adds a touch of sweetness that doesn't overpower any flavor.

Iris A.

Yelp
Excellent bakery and coffee shop, leaving you wanting more! Our order was taken promptly and while the place was busy, we managed to find a seat at the bar counter. We ordered: salted caramel cheesecake, cappuccino, latte, chicken pot pie, and mushroom tart. The pot pie was filled and not soupy at all; the pastry was light and there was chicken in every bite. The tart was delicious! If you love mushrooms, then you must order the mushroom tart! I very much enjoyed the latte, after our meal, I still had a good latte after taste that happily reminded me of a good breakfast. We enjoyed that mushroom tart that we returned for lunch and ordered it again, along with their roasted pepper chicken sammie with bacon. It was the perfect bread to meat ratio. The sweet: the salted caramel cheesecake was good, nothing to brag about but the pistachio cream cronut was divine! And they do not skim on the pistachio cream! The vanilla could have a slight more vanilla flavor to it. Over all, we had a great experience, the staff are friendly. The food menu is not obvious to see when you walk in, as it's only at the counter when ordering so don't get distracted by the window display. The good news is, they do post their food menu online, so def check that out.

Sean S.

Yelp
Wonderful coffee and bakery place in Vancouver. It's a treasure and so happy we found it. Delicious everything.

Guerric H.

Yelp
There are casual coffee shops, and there are fancy coffee shops, and Small Victory definitely feels like the latter, with its marble interiors and wealthy-hipster open industrial design. But don't worry - quality runs below the surface, too! Small Victory make the best almond croissant I've found in the city, hands down - rich, almondy, buttery, decadent and huge and everything you could want from a pastry you know you shouldn't be eating. And their other pastries - cookies, pain au chocolat, what have you - are all delicious and pretty much top-notch. The drinks are well-done too - the mochas aren't too bitter or too coffee-heavy like they are at most places, the tea lattes are flavourful and foamy, everything is great. Service isn't even that slow, despite how popular the location is, which feels like a good sign! It's a little pricey, sure, and if you're just getting things to-go you're definitely paying a premium for decor and atmosphere you don't need. But as far as fancier coffee shops go, Small Victory is one of the few that can honestly claim to have exceptionally delicious stuff on offer.

Larissa L.

Yelp
My new favourite almond croissant! I used to love Matchsticks' almond croissant but this one was better in my opinion. The matcha latte was also very good. I probably wouldn't get the breakfast sandwich again, although the brioche bun was good. The drip coffee was only alright also. Would visit again for the croissant.

Chloe C.

Yelp
This is my favourite bakery in Vancouver so far! Their cookies are to die for. Literally the first time I came here I ordered two cookies, devoured them on the spot, then went back and bought two more - yes, they're that good. Sometimes I wish I had the willpower to wait and take them home so I can heat them up, because warm cookies are the best thing to ever exist, but alas, I have no self control when it comes to these cookies. I have been back a few times, but I can't help myself from getting the cookies again and again. I want to try their croissants and their vegetable turnover, but every time I go I'm too full to stomach anything else other than two cookies. Oh well, maybe next time? Believe me, I'm rarely a return customer, but I'll make an exception for Small Victory. Seriously, I think I might be addicted. Double chocolate cake (4/5) Delicious and not too sweet. I loved the crunchy bit on the side, and I wish there were more of them. Chocolate flourless cookie (4.5/5) One of my favourite cookies ever - definitely in the top 10 of all time! I love the walnuts and the richness of the chocolate. The cookie has the perfect amount of chewiness and I can't believe it's flourless. I need more of these in my life. Chocolate chip cookie (5/5) Trust me when I say that this cookie is one of the top 5 cookies of all time. I've probably had over a hundred cookies in my lifetime (thank my massive sweet tooth) and this one takes the cake ! I wish I had the willpower to wait until I got home to heat it up, but alas, I instantly devour these the moment I get my hands on them. Whoopsies.

Athea S.

Yelp
Think they might have changed their avocado toast recently. The old recipe was much better in my opinion! This one was good but not amazing.

Ryan C.

Yelp
Looking for a place for to pick up coffee near my hotel. Pretty busy for 10:00 AM on a Wednesday morning. Got a cold brew and a pour over with a vanilla and pistachio croissant donuts. The coffee was good, pretty standard but I haven't seen a lot of cold brew around Vancouver (except Starbucks). The donuts were very good and got eaten up quickly.

Jessie W.

Yelp
Came on a Thursday afternoon to do some work on my laptop before dinner in Yaletown. Loved the open layout, the wood block that comes with eat-in orders, and the mocha I had. 2 minor complaints: 1) the table I wanted to sit at wasn't yet cleaned up when I got there, and 2) there's no offering for free wifi (I used ShawOpen, but not everyone has access to that). Would like to come back (or visit the other location) to try some baked goods!

LuFei L.

Yelp
Super delicious pastries and drinks! But also very packed and doesn't open late. The service was very quick and it's quite fascinating watching them make the drinks so precisely and even weighing the amount of ingredients to add. It was quite disappointing to see all the tables taken up by one person each while many groups had to sit at the bar. There's no place to put jackets :( The lemon tart was especially good, very very lemony haha and I love the little boards that everything comes on. Overall just a typical Yaletown experience. Also, no wifi :o

Jeffrey B.

Yelp
Visiting Vancouver, BC for the weekend and wanted to try a local coffee shop hot spot. Small Victory came highly recommenced and serves a great cup of coffee in a store which is half bakery kitchen and half banquet and bench seating. It is well worth taking your time as when the kitchen finishes a bake a waft of fresh bakery goods smell rolls out - if you are taking it easy on calories it is the perfect placebo...

Chloe T.

Yelp
Love the pastries here! Savoury and sweet. Coffee's good too :) and even their plastic cups are fully compostable ^^ no straws.

Paalika B.

Yelp
Such a cute place with a great vibe! The croissant breakfast sandwiches were okay but the pastries were amazing! Spanish latte and matcha latte are recommended!

Bryce W.

Yelp
Nice spot with lots of seating. The coffee was great! And the cinnamon roll was really tasty, definitely will go back when I go back to Vancouver.

Bog S.

Yelp
Small Victory Bakery is THE must see bakery destination for me and my large family. I bring my 90lb Rottweiler (Bulbo) to this bakery everyday and feed him big slices of cake and bread out of a bag while I slurp up multiple (10) espressos outside on the GORGEOUS porch. Meanwhile, my son (Crisp) screams and shrieks for me to buy him more and more of the famous Small Victory cookies. It is a MAJOR financial burden for my family to frequent this bakery as much as we do (I have maxed out almost ALL of my credit cards buying mountains of pies and cakes to eat at home) but I don't care because I make lots of money at my new Vape Juice business. I love Small Victory Bakery and SWEAR TO GOD that me, Bulbo, and Crisp will come here every single day this summer!!!! Thank you to the Small Victory Bakery staff.

Yelp
Rating is only based on the croissant that I had. The plain butter croissant was fresh (still warm?!), light, and flaky, just like how a fine croissant should be. Coffee and croissant here was perfect to start my morning off with. Lots of people coming and going. Looked busy, but short line to order and pay at counter.

Yelp
This place has been on my list of best bakeries to try in Vancouver and was delightfully pleased to find it satisfied all of my expectations! I came in just to take a look and left with an arsenal of almond croissant, peach pull apart, chicken roll and some day old baked goods (love that they sell these cheaper!). I tried out their almond croissant and the peach pull apart and thought they were a right amount of sweetness with a light flaky crisp at each bite. The croissant is very buttery FOR SURE but the layers are perfection and the almond paste is not overrun with almond extract flavour. The abundance of almond slices on top was like the cherry on top. My parents also ADORED both desserts smiling at every bite of delicious goodness! Overall, good service in a relaxing bakery with absolutely delectable choices!

Yelp
"Small Victory" doesn't begin to cover how great this bakery is. It's my go-to place for treats whether just for myself, or for a group. Some of my favourites include: London Fog donut croissant (OMG), carrot cake, scones, coconut cake, mini panna cotta, and salted caramel cheesecake. All of these items come in single servings, so no need to buy a whole cake. I can't describe in words how good their desserts are. The quality is top notch. I have never bought anything there I didn't like, and that wasn't of the freshest and most quality ingredients. I would have posted some photos, but we gobbled everything up before I remembered to take pictures.
