Not bad! Food was decent enough. Reasonable prices. The only thing that wasn't great to warrant the coveted Davie 5 star award, was the coffee. Again though, it wasn't bad it just didn't wow me. Great effort though team SMÄK

Hidden down an array of apartment buildings sits Smak Food House, clean and sleek design, fresh and minimalistic. Food was quite pleasant, and presentation was simple but executed correctly. Had the potato rosti dish and the sweet potato hollindaise but substituted the hock ham for mushrooms - both dishes were just good. Coffee was average compared to other places in SY. Downside was once the food was served no further service - no one asked if we needed another coffee or required anything else. Service was a bit of a let down as SY has a competitive brunch scene.

This place is an understated, with lots of open light. As soon as I saw the coffee bags, I knew it was going to be great, they serve St Ali coffee and have a variety of options, including chilli scramble and smaked avo. Great way to start a morning!

The Matcha Waffle is really good. It includes Ice cream, Yougurt, Fruit, Marshmallows. But the portion is quite small. And the Matcha Soy latte favour is not strong enough.

Found this cafe through the app Eat Club. Loved the menu choices, sometimes unusual (not the standard breakfast choices) combinations read well but don't quite work. I have to say the sweet potato waffles, ham hock, egg and pear dish was superb! Good coffee too
