"Ferris Wheel Overlooking Centennial Olympic Park If you're short on time in Atlanta , now there's a way for you to see most of the sights in a matter of minutes. SkyView, the city's newest attraction, is a Ferris wheel that soars 20 stories above the ground. You can park at any of the lots surrounding Centennial Olympic Park before boarding a gondola. From above, you'll be able to see the buildings of downtown, the CNN Center, the Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola. SkyView is open every day until 11 p.m. and beyond. The 15-minute ride is $13.50 for adults, $12.15 for seniors and military, $8.50 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for kids under 2. If you're feeling like a big shot, go for the VIP flight, which allows you to skip the line to board a plush gondola, complete with leather seats and a glass floor. It will set you back $50 per person, but each capsule can hold five people, making this the ideal place for a special occasion."

We had a fantastic experience at SkyView Atlanta with our family, including our little kids! The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking, and the ride felt smooth and safe. My kids had a wonderful time and were so excited throughout the ride. The only minor downsides were the ticket prices, which are a bit on the expensive side, and the wait time, which was longer than expected. However, the overall experience was well worth it! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. If you’re visiting Atlanta, this is definitely a must-do, especially for families looking to create special memories. Highly recommend!

Great fun with 360 Atlanta views. Nice and clean enclosed spacious cabin. It provides privacy with your group. The line moved quickly. It’s the kinda thing to do when you have guests visiting and showing around Atlanta.

Had to do the most touristy thing we could think of!! We just got the standard tickets and didn’t have to wait very long at all to go up- a bit pricey, but definitely worth it to see the park and city from above in a really unique way.

I had the opportunity to ride on SkyView Atlanta several years ago with my parents. We were treated to fantastic views of Centennial Olympic Park as well of other downtown Atlanta landmarks during the Christmas Season. Fast forward to the present, I got to see it again and it looks to still be a popular tourist attraction with the addition of a sky bar which allows you to bring alcoholic drinks on board while riding the enclosed Ferris wheel. Overall, a great place to go for families, couples and dates on a night out. Tickets can be purchased on site.

Skyview is a really cool experience that everyone should do at least once. I absolutely recommend purchasing tickets from the website, and getting the VIP tickets costs a bit more, but totally worth it... great experience and a private gondola. Kick back, relax, and enjoy spending some time quality time with someone you love just enjoying the view. Friendly, helpful staff, and a fun unique experience... what more could you want? We will definitely be back for another ride.

The SkyView is a great way to see Atlanta. From inside, the view is pretty impressive. We were able to see a lot more than we expected, considering many of the building surrounding it are taller than the Ferris wheel. Although they say they are open daily, we found that wasn’t the case. On our trip, our child was excited to go on the SkyView, so we made the trek over, only to find out it wasn’t operating that day. Assuming we got there before it opens, we asked the employee at the gate what time it would open, the employee simply said “it’s not”. When we asked if it would be open tomorrow, the employee simply said “hope so”. Not a very pleasant interaction, but we tried again the next day, and it was running! It’s also fairly expensive, at about $20+ a person. But the operation ran smoothly. They got people on and off efficiently, and the employees working the Ferris wheel were courteous. It’s something I think you have to do once. But once is enough.

Overall, an awesome experience! If you're visiting ATL for the first time, this is a must-see. The views are absolutely amazing, and the staff was friendly and professional. The interior was clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort. I was a bit nervous at first about being so high up, but it quickly became enjoyable. The ride lasts about four rounds, which I felt was definitely worth it. Highly recommend giving it a try!
