We enjoyed our stay at Sherwood, which is well-located. The accommodation was comfortable for 3 of us, the beds were comfortable and the kitchenette well-stocked. We love the sustainability of the property. Our dinner and breakfast was delicious. The water pressure was great although the bathroom was dated. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Sherwood was very smooth and tranquil. The location is convenient, not too far from the lake. The room was warm and inviting, and we appreciated having daily room service, which kept everything tidy and clean. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. However, there were a couple of areas for improvement: noise from outside or neighboring rooms was noticeable, and the car parking spots were insufficient.

We loved the Sherwood! I really appreciated how sustainable the property has become, the views and general location we found to be great, and the restaurant was stellar. We also took advantage of the complimentary sauna time which was a nice start to the day. The rooms are comfortable, the king bed was also, and the small kitchenette was a nice amenity. I would not give the rooms 5 stars as they were not “luxe” but 10/10 I would stay here again without question and recommend it to anyone.

We only dined here, we did not stay. The breakfast and dinner experience was very nice. Food was delicious. Seating isn’t overly comfortable. Either high stools or benches which isn’t great when you want to sit back and have a relaxing dinner.

Had dinner at the Sherwood. Food was good but not fantastic. Service was nice but not very accurate when it came to getting our orders right. And I thought maybe we’d have a view of the lake but we were seated in the outdoor garden area (which was nice but we wished we’d had a view).

Loved our all too short 2 night stay. Hotel is a quiet oasis in Queenstown. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of the site. The bed was super, rainfall shower refreshing. On site restaurant was as great. All the food, wine and beer are New Zealand sourced. Enjoyed the fire pit both nights as well. Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to take a yoga class or use the sauna.

I wouldn’t stay here again. They do not assign car parks so it was a shambles and you have to sometimes park 500m away from the hotel. There is no where to even park your car for 5 mins to unpack your car. They charge $20 for their washing machines. The rooms are quite trendy but for that being the only positive not worth the money they charge per night.

We came to Sherwood on Christmas Day and were blown away by the food, the lovely and knowledgeable staff and the entire experience. We wish we could come back every day. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. Thank you
