Welcome to Seven Reasons, a stunning eatery where Latin American flavors shine through beautifully crafted dishes and impeccable service in an inviting atmosphere.
"A bi-level restaurant with an ambitious menu of Latin American dishes, set in a gorgeous space." - MICHELIN Guide
"In episode 7, Karen Huger and her cousin David converse over Latin American food prepared by chef Enrique Limardo and his team. It was a truly identical meal. To drink they both sipped on ginger ale before moving on to food. Huger and David both selected the Caesar salad to start followed by the halibut." - Vinciane Ngomsi, Tierney Plumb
"With a revamped and expanded menu at City Center’s Latin showpiece Seven Reasons, chef-owner Enrique Limardo has almost 30 new reasons why he wants you to eat there. The goal is to make fine dining more accessible, he says, as more D.C. restaurants shift to small plates and a la carte options to let customers to experiment with new dishes without a hefty price tag. Among them is the arepita threesome, one of 20 dishes under $20 that is a ménage à trois of cheese, cilantro, and sweet arepitas. Limardo says the dish pays homage to the arepa, Venezuela’s staple street food that’s beloved worldwide for its versatility and popularity. Another highlight from the under-$20 set is the $19 lamb lo mein, a compilation of lamb loin, rice noodles, red onion, red pepper, shishito pepper, shiitake, scallions, and peanuts. The menu is also influenced by Limardo’s extensive five-week trip through Latin America, where he ate his way through Brazil’s Amazon rainforest in Manaus and also hit up Bogotá, Colombia; Lima, Peru; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Panama City, Panama." - Lenore Adkins

"Seven Reasons relocated to CityCenter DC last year and just unveiled brunch in March under chefs Enrique Limardo and Nacho Useche. Take a weekend trip to the Amazon with lobster patacón (green plantain, strawberry coleslaw, avocado, cilantro, piquillo-pepper mayo, herbs mayo), “Arepa of the Sea” (fried calamari, bay scallops, shrimp, octopus, avocado, aji amarillo tartar sauce, mixed greens), or double-fried chicken thigh featuring feta nata pineapple-maple syrup. A live DJ brings the party on Sundays." - Tierney Plumb
