Scenic street for a walk with many small fresh food shops and stalls

Great area with sweet shops all over.

Interesting little street near the Pantheon in the Latin Quarter. Plenty of restaurants with a couple of souvenir shops. You won’t hear any music here. Just people eating, drinking and strolling about. A couple of decent restaurants but many are crepe stalls or small with a couple of tables. Nothing much Halle Ing here except sit and watch people or walk up and down the busy section of this narrow street.

Seems like any normal street in Paris really, except it’s mostly pedestrianised, but maybe I went on a less exciting day? The pigeons seemed to be having the most fun when I went.

It's probably too popular now, as it's full of tourists and not any cuter than other streets or neighborhoods. But lots of cafes and shops.

A great area, with a street full of life, food, and drinks! So many options: Lebanese next to Italian, next to French, next to Japanese! Great area to just hang out, have a drink and people watch... also seems to be quite popular with students and young people (Sorbonne University is nearby).

Great street! Great open air market street with a cozy vibe on the 5eme arrondisement. A must visit when I'm PARIS.

I came here over a year ago while I was just a student studying abroad, and I specifically tried to search this place up so I could give it five stars. BUY THE PEARS. I believe tears ran down my face as I ate these pears and the crêpes here. There's also restaurants lining the street. My friend got something from a place run by Chinese people, and another got a huge portion of bread and cheese. Five hearts for this place!

my daily street market (fermé lundi) when i first moved to Paris in 2000 and lived a block away (a la Hemingway in 1921). didn't cook so i'd hit up fruit, cheese, bread, pasta, roast chicken and pork mongers who are all still there. when tourists come to town, a visit here is de rigueur. restos on rue du Pot-de-Fer are meh so avoid. crêperies solid but do as we did recenty: get roast quail to eat at a park by église Saint-Médard (has fountain to wash hands). then on to the Grand Mosque de Paris (10 min walk) for a proper meal of tajines, couscous and lamb kebabs. and mint tea bien sûr.
