Beautiful presentation and delicious tasty food. Ordered the Chicken and waffles, chicken was perfect, not too heavy or greasy. Waffles were soft, melt in the mouth not dry. Creme brûlée French toast was fresh and light and perfectly balanced not overly sweet. Highly recommend

The place is wonderful, and the staff are incredibly respectful. Most importantly, they are not at all racist. They welcome you in such a friendly way that makes you want to visit the place daily. The coffee is great; we ordered the V60, which was perfectly balanced for two people. We also ordered the Buttermilk Hot Cake, which exceeded expectations. It was extremely hot on a rainy day, served with warm butterscotch cream, and adding a spoonful of butter gave it a special flavor. The banana and fruit pieces dipped in the butterscotch sauce were delicious. I would return even if we didn’t enjoy the taste! The staff were truly fantastic, all smiling and welcoming !

Went for a weekend lunch. The store is spacious and the staff are very efficient and it's a very nice space♡ I ordered pancakes. It's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I ordered the free refills of coffee and it was a great choice♫

There is no better place to go if you’re looking for the mix of delicious and rich food and some of the best coffee you can find in Sydney. The coffee itself provided by coffee net is delectable and beautiful. The Korean fried chicken with kimchi waffle is super rich and yet soft and flavor, a must try if you love the taste of slightly spicy and delicious in one.

I visited the Roastville Cafe to try their coffee and the granola bowl before the coffee cupping I have booked. And damn it was good! The granola was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Fresh, crunchy and the perfect sweetness. The vegan yogurt was super creamy and the fruit fresh and tasty. And of course great coffee! I ordered mine with almond milk. Plant based options available. I had an absolute delicious pleasure visiting the cafe and the coffee cupping afterwards was one of the best things I‘ve treated myself to. I highly recommend this cafe with it‘s beautiful interior, extremely kind staff and delicious food and coffee menu! Thank you so much Roastville!

This popular café has an energetic vibe and an extensive array of coffee choices—perfect for coffee enthusiasts. The menu also offers a good variety of food. The crispy chicken from the burger, the kimchi waffle, and from the dirty benedict was divine, adding an extra layer of sensation to the dishes. We were thrilled to have discovered this café and returned the following week. Unfortunately, on our second visit, the flat white wasn’t warm enough, and the dishes didn’t meet the same standard as before. We truly hope they can work on their consistency before our next visit.

Tried to do 6 stars but Google's still only maxing at 5, but this deserves more! Delicious food, reasonably priced and oh so tasty. Coffee as expected, great, and the staff were all friendly. Also, had a sourdough cookie if you're looking for a sweet treat. I loved the savoury waffles, these were next level tasty!

Yelp
What a find! Fantastic coffee and unique food. Kimchi Waffle? Just had to try it and was not disappointed. A lot of flavors going on and they all went together nicely. Coffee was so good I had to buy some beans to take home. Great location to eat before visiting all the breweries in the area.

Yelp
I'm glad I found Roastville; a little out of the way public transport wise but worth the effort. You might drive past it if you aren't looking closely, but if you aim for Sauce brewery/Bourke St Bakery, you will find it just around the corner on Victoria Park Road. The in-house roastery provides great coffee (plenty of options for coffee snobs from Melbourne) and you can buy beans and other coffee paraphenalia to take home. The food is excellent and the portions are generous and reasonably priced. We tried the hot smoked salmon and the nicoise salad and both were delicious. I will be back.

Yelp
Fabulous place for brekkie. Thought I would go with the unusual Dirty Bird Benedict. Harissa hollondaise sauce? Fried chicken? Polenta sage slice? Can't say I have ever tried that combo, but I found it delicious. Fried chicken was flavorful (couldn't place the flavor of the crumb coating)- and so moist! The poached eggs were more soft-boiled doneness- which I actually prefer. Huge portion to satisfy anyone, and for a reasonable price. In all, a delicious unique brunch meal.

Yelp
Look, just don't over think it. It's the infamous kimchi waffles every time. Take the plunge, you won't regret it. Such tasty food, smooth coffee that was good and strong even as a large. Happy staff and nice mix of couples, groups and all configurations of families. (I mean it about the waffles).

Yelp
For breakfast and brunch on the weekend this spot is amazing - you've got indoor and outdoor covered and its big enough that you don't get the same waiting that you do at some other inner west cafes(sometimes there are lines now ). The breakfast menu is yum - they use brickfields sourdough and everything was spot on. The coffee is perfect - some of the best going around. For lunch : take your appetite. They have a bunch of healthy sounding offerings that I know are good, but the kimchi waffles are where it's at. Prepare for an afternoon nap - because you're gonna need it.

Yelp
Fried Chicken Kimchee Waffles. That is all. Coffee is pretty good too...considering it's named Roastville. But Fried Chicken Kimchee Waffles. Do it. Just do it.

Yelp
This converted warehouse on Victoria Park Road Marrickville, might be hard to spot from outside but make it a plan to find it. It houses a cafe which a coffee enthusiast dreams about. There are a few outdoor tables as you enter from the street, then you move inside to a coverted warehouse space with coffee paraphernalia. One counter where the machine is (and some amazing looking cronuts) and other coffee making devices are set up. Beyond this are a number of tables for you to enjoy a meal. We were seated then perused the menu, interested to expand on our limited knowledge beyond an espresso, macchiaito, latte and cappuccino. With a plethora of choice, I went with the V60 pour over. This method involved the pouring the coffee over a grooved ceramic funnel like cup and filter paper. The barista, showing his skill, has this method down to a science weighing and timing the process, making for a nice tasting filter coffee. We also ordered a latte, a nice cup of coffee topped with some latte art, I was suitably impressed. Foodwise, there were many options that took out fancy such as the burgers or chicken and waffles and they also had a few healthier options which we went for on this day. We chose the brunch plate and the chicken and roasted cauliflower salad. The chicken cauliflower salad with chicpea, watercress and zucchini had fresh clean flavours. The Brunch plate was nicely presented with great ingredient combinations of smoked salmon, beetroot paste, avacado watercress as well as some falafel zucchini fritters, served with a lemon wedge and house made labne. We were impressed by the salmon which was house smoked with apple wood, the labne also made on site. The falafel had a crisp crust with a moist centre. Marrickville, delivering another good cafe in roastvill which serves up good food as well as coffee. The service is friendly and the barista is very passionate and has a great knowledge of coffee. If you love your coffee, add this cafè to your list.

Yelp
Great coffee, lovely decor and good service. I had the dirty bird which look flavoursome on my plate but it was bland. I'm quite disappointed with my dish. My friend had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and she says it was nice. I might come back but just for coffee.

Yelp
Delish Bircher, would recommend and would definitely go again! Very family friendly vibe, great service and most importantly delicious food.

Yelp
This is the go to coffee shop for my office. The staff is excellent and always incredibly kind. I haven't had a meal here yet, but the coffee and snacks are great!

Yelp
I wanted to like this place from the moment I walked in, continuously looking for reasons why it couldn't be as am good as it looked. Guess what, it was !!! Food great, service awesome, coffee splendid. Fingers crossed it stays that way and they don't change their attitude as it gets more well known

Yelp
Lovely staff, not too busy and not too noisy on a Saturday morning. Really inventive menu, lovely coffee. You might have some issue parking if you drive because Victoria road. Check out the sweets cabinet. Drool. Go here, have breakfast, brunch or lunch. It's just lovely.

Yelp
The attention to detail at this cafe is wonderful, if your a cafe whore like myself. You'll appreciate the clean, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere from the moment you enter. It's beyond just good looks and shows depth and character with it's eclectic menu and fine scope of coffee. I had a latte and a cold brew, both were smooth enough to drink without sugar and the cold brew was smooth and caramel not even needed sugar! For lunch I had the chicken salad which was delicious and dare I say healthy! Service was warm and attentive enough to not leave you wanting. I would be a regular if I lived locally. Maybe I'll move.

Yelp
Great space, great food, great coffee all rolled into one space. Never been let down at this place whether it be grabbing a take away coffee or siting down with a big group of friends

Yelp
Wedded bliss. I'm a person of simple tastes. A trip to a really good market followed by a great cafe is my idea of Sunday bliss. So a beautiful spring Sunday in Marrickville, which started with a trip to the organic markets in Addison Road, and finished with lunch at Roastville was a little bit of heaven.  If you haven't been to the organic markets then you should definitely try them - they are foodie nirvana. Lots of small stallholders with amazing produce and great eats (having said that, it is on the alternative side so if you can't handle a little bit of grunge it may not be for you).  Anyway back to the business at hand, Roastville. We bounced in there feeling a little bit buzzy after our tastings at the markets and various other goodness, and joined the small but rapidly moving queue. I think we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table - yah west julliet - and then we were seated with our eyes devouring the menu. There were lots of interesting and different choices, which made a nice change from the standard french toast and corn fritters fare.  My friend opted for the kim chi chicken waffle and i ordered the veggie sandwich. The kim chi chicken was 'ridiculously good' - I tasted a little and could only concur - and my veggie sandwich was also great. Eggplant, haloumi, tomato and mushrooms on sourdough made for a really substantial and delicious classic combination that hit all the right notes. The kim chi chicken was an explosion of flavour - one of those occasions where you can feel your tastebads doing a little celebratory samba in your mouth. So good.  Since Roastville is a specialty coffee roaster (with sacks of coffee in the warehouse adjoining the cafe to prove it) we also made sure to order coffees - espresso that had a hint of caramel and a creamy latte. I liked my latte but it didn't measure up to my Coffee Alchemy yardstick. Good but not touching greatness.  The layout and ambience reminded me of Melbourne, which is absolutely a good thing as I love the cafe scene there. And our waitress was really bubbly, fun and professional. All in all a great cafe and I mourn the day (alas probably not too distant) where a trip to Roastville will also mean a 1/2 hour wait a la West Julliet.

Yelp
I was a little apprehensive coming here, because this is such a coffee spot & I'm mostly a vegetarian tea drinker. However, I was wrong. This is a lovely cafe. Firstly, the staff are terrific. They couldn't be nicer. The tea is really good, although the pots could be bigger. The hot cakes are pretty good & the chips are really delicious. (I know they don't go together, but my friend & I had a lot of catching up to do, so we basically had two meals.) The staff, again, the staff. The staff are the best feature of this cafe. They were attentive, without being overly so, & never once gave us the move on treatment you sometimes receive elsewhere. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and the coffee is great. Food is a bit different but very tasty. My favourite has been the dirty bird benedict - poached free range eggs, fried chicken fillet, harissa hollandaise, rocket, sage biscuit. Staff are very friendly

Arash R.

Yelp
Firstly the atmosphere and service here is amazing. Greeted at the door and felt welcomed into a funky open setting. Secondly the coffee here is one of the best in Sydney and the barristas know what coffee culture is about plus they roast their own brew. Lastly everyone must try the kimchi chicken waffles.can't put into words how awesome and original this dish is!

Yelp
Disappointed. I ordered the chicken burger and I received a hamburger on bread?!?!the smoothies for our table never arrived..... Won't be going back.
