I bought an iced chocolate and a portion of chocolate ice-cream. The seller, like every good salesman, praised his products and said they're the best in Mexico, which, of course, I took with a grain of salt. The drink was nothing to write home about but that ice-cream was probably the best chocolate ice-cream I had in my life - rich in flavour and not overly sweet. The addition of cacao nibs creates a nice sensation to otherwise boring texture. Highly recommended.

I tried their cold chocolate drink and got some mini chocolate bars to take home for gifts. Great service and the 70% chocolate drink was great and refreshing on this hot day!

They have the best chocolate ice cream (perhaps all ice creams) I’ve ever had in my life and I am an absolute snob when it comes to ice cream. It’s so chocolatey and rich with an out of this world texture that almost reminds me of brownie batter. The cacao nibs laced throughout really make the experience of eating this cone feel sublime. Leaving Oaxaca in two days and will reminisce about this ice cream for a LONG time.

The chocolate ice cream was absolutely the best I have ever had. We both ordered it and we both loved it. The first server was actually acting a little annoyed that we were there. While we were enjoying our treats and other server came in and replaced her and she was fantastic. The facility is very small and there is no place to sit either inside or out. But we did manage to find a place out of the way so that other customers could get their own treats. We had heard about this place from a YouTube video and we were so glad that we took the time to find it.

I checked the reviews of this small shop before stepping out of it, and ended up with writing my compliments of their chocolate ice cream as well! It was literally the best of best i have ever had, even though I don’t really like sweets. They added little pieces of cacao in it, so crunchy and yummy!!!

Delicious chocolate ice cream. My wife and I could not stop going back for a month. Service is great. The man at the counter makes a special effort to speak slowly and clearly in Spanish. Probably speaks English as well if needed.
