"The chef here continues to champion healthy cuisine with his focus on organic vegetables. Choose between a more informal dining section and the more gastronomically focused El Menjador (reservation required) offering a choice of tasting menus." - Michelin Inspector

"According to acclaimed chef Xavier Pellicer, all ingredients possess an energy that gets passed directly from purveyor to cook to diner. This is what he aims to capture on the plate at his latest eponymous restaurant. With a staunch emphasis on biodynamic and organic practices, this flexitarian restaurant reveres vegetables without snubbing the occasional bit of fish or meat. Pellicer has revived some of the classic dishes that made him famous, like a beetroot gazpacho and pink lentil hummus, but you’ll also find new hits, like a roasted pumpkin with chutney and burrata with asparagus and citrus." - Isabel Conde

After window shopping your way up Passeig de Gracia, and marveling at Gaudi's Casa Mila, stop in for a long lunch and rest your dogs. This laid back restaurant offers three tasting menus for the ominovores, vegetarians, and vegans. Not light on the wallet, this was one meal I'll never forget.

I've been wanting to have dinner at this restaurant for years and am so happy I finally did. The food was incredible, and the fact that you can choose a vegan, vegetarian, or omnivore menu makes it so easy to start with. The philosophy and story behind the restaurant are a true inspiration, and it shows in the atmosphere of the place. Featuring a completely open kitchen, you can see how everything is prepared, and yet you don't hear a thing, even on a busy evening. The service was flawless and I got the impression people enjoy working there. My favourite dish was probably the artichoke with an egg and a hazelnut sauce to die for - apart from the dessert of course. 100% recommended if you love healthy food and fine dining.

If you're looking for a truly special dining experience, Xavier Pellicer is the place to go. The vegetarian menu is full of surprises, with dishes that feel fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. They really know how to take organic vegetables and turn them into something extraordinary—every bite tastes like it’s cooked to perfection. The wine list is just as impressive, with a fantastic selection that pairs beautifully with the food. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into every detail. It’s not overly fancy or pretentious—just amazing flavors, great atmosphere, and a real focus on quality. A must-visit spot, even if you’re not usually into vegetarian food!

Outstanding vegetarian and vegan dining with diverse tasting menus. Loved the flexibility to have a veg tasting menu alongside a regular one. Impressive array of wines, especially local options, many available by the glass. The sommelier guided us with thoughtful pairings. Friendly staff explained each dish in details when it comes. While the food leans towards healthiness, a touch more salt would elevate the flavors. Overall, a positive dining experience. 👩‍🍳🌱

This was an exquisite experience, from food to service and ambience. Hands down, one of the best vegetarian Michelin experiences I have had. The meals were elegantly presented, had gastronomic infusions that elevated each taste. Simply meals, things you would find in any market, presented through a new culinary experience. To top it off, their sommelier paired our tasting menu off with a beautiful red wine from the regions of Catalan. It is a little expensive but if you have a reason to celebrate, definitely put this place on the list.

A fabulous experience at a new favorite restaurant. We had just been to Enigma earlier in the week and Xavier compared favorably to that 3 Michelin stars legend. Xavier’s menu offers great choices for vegetarians and for wine snobs. And the meal was delicious and very fairly priced.

Google
This restaurant is a revelation!! The tastes are exquisite and perfect, and the ingredients are locally sourced and bring to the fore the incredible flavours of the vegetables. Only the dessert was slightly disappointing - so if you your calories, maybe skip it. The beautiful interior compliments the refined presentation of the tasting menu. Service is highly attentive yet casual and personal. Excellent English spoken by staff and menu. The evening before we had a rather disappointing meal in a seafood restaurant with one Michelin star - this place here was better by a factor of 10!

I dislike leaving a low review, but a few things to note. The lighting for dinner in this restaurant was way too high!! No mood. The dishes were tasty and the food quality was excellent but it felt almost a joke how little food, I left feeling hungry for €105 (just the food!). Maybe offering some bread at least would help.. because otherwise the imbalance is clear between too much wine and not enough food. The service was ok but not super attentive. We had to pour our wine ourself. I expected more. The design of the restaurant was nice but please dim the light and give more ambiance with the music! Good choice for vegans. Cool bathroom design. The peas dish with mushrooms and the mushrooms (with asparagus) were standouts.

Yelp
This is a vegetarian-centric, not completely vegetarian, restaurant. Their appetizers are generally vegetable- or seafood-based, and their entrees are generally meat-based. I like how creative they are with all the vegetables beyond roasting and sauteeing. One unique thing to note about their carrot cake is that it's not the American carrot cake. They explained to me that it's mostly composed of carrot and has minimal sugar. I liked it, merely because it wasn't too sweet and tasted like a healthy dessert. After eating way too much jamon iberico in Spain, this restaurant was a nice change of pace.

Yelp
My boss dragged me to this place he described as vegetarian, which much to my surprise spectacular. We sat at bar facing the kitchen and watched these masters, including Xavier Pellicer, at work. We asked the sous chef what to order and he suggested a number of items, all of which we ordered. Everything was delicious and presented perfectly. The desert made of celeriac, the name of which I cannot recall, is probably the best dessert I've ever had. It was that perfect balance of sweet and tart. Incidentally, it is not vegetarian but vegetable centric. The owner does appear to have a love affair with vegetables. We watched him slice some carrots and cauliflower in what could only be described as a loving manner. It it truly a great restaurant.

Yelp
Embrace yourself to must amazing, unique and divine dining experience. Words cannot describe the uniqueness flavors on each dish. The Gazpacho de remolacha, puré de coliflor con huevo y aceite ahumado and glazed leek were to die for. Thank chef Xavier for your amazing cuisine.

Yelp
Food was very good but the experience was not so great. I decided to splurge with my family and eat at this restaurant as I was told about the impeccable service...how they take time to tell you all about the dish and how it was prepared. And we saw the owner doing this with *some* of the guests, but we obviously didn't meet the bar (even though we dressed for the occasion). Every course was simply placed in front of us with the name of the dish "beetroot gazpacho"....That's it. At the end, I was served a purple and yellow round disk of a dessert and the waiter said "carrot cake". I took a bite and it didn't taste like .. anything at all. So I waived over the server (first time in 2+ hours that I didn't this) and asked him what the yellow stuff was in the cake. He had no idea. He had to go and ask the kitchen. Then he came back and said carrots. So - this place boats it's attention to detail but that's only for some. Buyer beware.
