"“Cooking with roots” is the mantra at Remulass, a phrase that has inspired the restaurant’s name (“wild radish” in the local Milanese dialect). This small, lively restaurant gets very busy in the evenings when booking is highly recommended. The attractively modern and colourful dishes here always feature plenty of root vegetables and aromatic herbs. We recommend the fermented vegetables with baked ricotta and a gin dressing." - Michelin Inspector

What happened to Remulass?? What happened to this beautiful place? When did the service become so bad? The female waitress (dark haired) was absolutely rude to us! She refused to explain the menu to us, tho her friends had arrived right after us and she literally sat down and explained every thing to them. And since when the waiter who cleans the table with a microfiber, IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE FOOD (BREAD) WITH HIS BEAR HANDS??? Isn’t this unhygienic?! I am so upset, this was my favorite spot in Milan However. The food was 10/10, food never disappoints in this place. Please train your waiters, tell them how to be nice to the customers, give them a handbook of dos and don’ts, cause in 2025 I don’t want my food to be touched by the people who clean the table, you can at least wash your hands or use tongs.

Absolutely delightful bistro. I came here in 2023 and had a life changing risotto, which I still consider the benchmark for that dish. I have referred a number of traveling friends here, who have all have raved about it as well. I dined again last night and had another memorable meal! Chef Francesco is focusing on seasonal vegetables and his stuffed pepper dish and eggplant with Bearnaise were delicious! Of course, the current risotto set, done with fermented grapes, coffee bits and blue cheese was just as amazing as I’d remembered. The wine list is well curated, focusing on small producers using low intervention technique. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a small, but very popular restaurant, and advance reservations are highly recommended. I can’t wait to return to Milano and dinner at Remulass!

Everything about this small restaurant was brilliant. The staff (we turned up two hours late and they still had a table for us), the wine (a rare grape variety from Sicily that was like nothing I had ever tasted before) and the food. The waitress told us that a customer said the risotto was the best she had ever tasted. We ordered it and have to concur. It's seasonal and on the night we went it was pumpkin, clementine and porcini. Can't wait to go back for the tasting menu.

The plates where a step up from regular good restaurants in Milan. They tended to be more signature dishes with the added cost. I was not so convinced the higher prices were actually worth it. All plates were small. My dish, linguine with seafood was bland and needed additional flavor....maybe a squeeze of lemon and drizzle of olive oil....or some capers? The other dishes like the chicken was nicely roasted with a red sauce, actually very tasty. Parking was not so difficult. Lots of wines to choose. Reson for 4 stars, the food varied, but overall, not spectacular.

Fantastic lunch for two at Remulass. The food is prepared with care and great ingredients, and each dish is just delicious. 2 appetizers, 2 primi, 2 desserts for <€100 - highly recommended!

We simply liked everything. Friendly staff from various parts of Italy, extra attention for our four legged family member with spacious seating and water, great food - we had some appetizers and after the risotto and fish n chips (an interesting interpretation) - and nice wine. Really recommend this small cozy place.

This is becoming repetitive, but another wonderful meal from the slow food guide. Each dish is pushing beyond our expectation, so that we didn't want the meal to end. Wines likewise wonderfully matched and enjoyable. The staff beyond any expectations, taking time to explain everything about the meal and even the gin we were drinking. Including a visit from the chef. 110%

The food was nice, but this wasn't one of the most memorable meals we had in Milan.
